Poco X3 NFC Constantly on Dark Mode - Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC Questions & Answers

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can assist please?
My Poco is constantly on Dark Mode
On the display section, light mode is selected, and you can't change to dark mode
Battery is on balanced or performance and still it does not make a different
Its also quite slow, and not as nippy as it should be
Any ideas?
Thanks

Vivid Mode/ X-reality disable by itself

I don't know why but whenever I activate these modes mentioned above it get disabled by it self again after few hours, whenever I charge or powersave mode turns on or connect headphones, the vivid mode turns off, and it's annoying, any solution? Anyone face same problem?
Those 2 "Image Enhancement" options should be turned off if you want your pictures and videos look more natural anyway. For me they are just there to consume more Battery, never liked the way it adjusts the Images.

[Help] Low brightness on Xiaomi Mi A2 with MIUI

Hello guys, last week i converted my Xiaomi mi A2 to 6X to use MIUI.
So, i notice the brightness is stuck and don't make difference if it is on 20% or 100%, the bright in the screen is the same, and this is bad cause it's too low to see outside.
Can someone help me to fix this?
I try change the Rom, but don't works, already tried Miui.eu, Miui globe and Revolution OS. All the same Bug.
Ps: If you thinks it's hardware I has to tell you the brightness in the TWRP, boot screen is normal. AND, when I oppen certain apps like galery or youtube the brightness increase to normal for a second. (I don't have another phone to record it now, but if it helps i try to upload tomorrow).

Grayscale automatically turns off

I can turn on Grayscale through Digital Wellbeing, through the built in Reading Mode of Resurrection Remix or change it in the developer settings. After turning the screen off and unlocking the device the colors are there again. If I check the settings, Grayscale is still turned on, but the colors are there.
I first had this problem on official MIUI, then on Xiaomi.Eu and now on Resurrection Remix. Is there somebody else that had the same issue? The only thing I could find in the internet was somebody else reporting this on MIUI, I didn't expect this to happen on Custom ROMs too.
I already checked if I have turned on Grayscale through multiple applications at once, there definitely is only one of them enabled and still happening.
Same problem
I am facing this problem in my Redmi Note 5 Pro, which is on official MIUI 11 Stable.
same problem
same problem on Redmi Note 7
Temporary Fix
I found out (thanks to a post on the MIUI forum) that disabling automatic contrast (white level) will prevent grayscale mode from automatically turning off.
This can be accessed at Settings-Display-Color Scheme. (Set it to 'Standard or Saturated but not Auto')

This workaround doesn't work on my Mi9 (MIUI 11.0.9).

It's working. Thanks
You have to
1. change the auto color scheme to any other two
2. change the stimulate color space to "monochromacy" in Developer option (*while the grey scale mode is off)
Source- Mi forum
I tried this, But didnt work either.
There is a video or something to see what Im doing wrong?
I am on Havoc OS 3.6 with the Mi9T and I have the same bug.
I found a solution if you don't have the 'automatic contrast' option.
Turn off DC dimming (Settings > Display > DC Dimming) and the issue should disappear!
Amazing, I cannot live without grayscale

Mysterious auto battery saver at 15%

I've recently bought my Poco X3 NFC and I'm noticing that when the battery reaches 15% the phone puts itself into a hidden battery saver mode. The standard Battery Saver and Ultra Battery Saver modes are still off, but the phone turns into a sort of Dark Mode, albeit the Dark mode switch is off, it also turns the haptics off, sync off, and the general performance lowers as well.
I've searched in the settings but I can't find the source of it. Does anyone knows how can I turn this feature off?
Their may be a third party app with a sneaky battery saver mode enabler.
Also double check all settings.
If you've enabled developer mode check there too that you haven't activated something

General Poco X3 Pro - Known issues and solutions

Issues:
1. If the volume is high the back vibrates/trembles a bit.
2. When on a call, people around you may listen to the person you're having a call with because the earpiece is quite loud.
3. Some people complain about screen flickering/blinking on lowest brightness.
4. Audio is distorted/choppy on video recordings.
5. Some people complain about touch issues. More precisely, long swipes + holding = jitter (not stable) and some long swipes stop midway.
Solutions - fixes:
1. It can be fixed in MIUI by enabling dev settings, searching for mono audio and changing audio balance to the right which reduces the volume from the left speaker / earpiece. In AOSP ROMs the option is in Settings > Accessibility > Audio balance. Personally, I got used to it and haven't changed anything. It gives a bass feeling. And it's not that noticeable when using a case.
2. It can be improved by doing the same as #1. For a more efficient solution, wait for a fix in custom ROMs.
3. It only happens on the lowest brightness: 1%. So just turn the brightness slider to >=2%. Poco X3 Pro's screen can go so dim that it almost goes completely off. This is really useful for people who use their phones in total darkness. Some custom ROMs have increased the minimum brightness value a bit.
4. It was fixed in 12.0.5.0 EEA and 12.0.6.0 Global stock MIUI and MIUI based custom ROMs. If you're on an older version, please update.
5. Check which display you have. According to dozens of reports so far, 9/10 of 8/256 vayu variants have Huaxing, 9/10 of 6/128 vayu variants have Tianma and all bhima variants have Tianma.
If you have Huaxing, you're fine. If you have Tianma, most units should be fine: no swipe issues and no jitter at all. But even if you're among the unlucky ones, everything can be improved or even be completely fixed by using lybkernel TS-MOD variant which has tweakable touch sysfs.
2 Poco x3 pro 256gb 8gb here and both are with tianma displays. No touch screen issues. One has flickering on lowest and brightest - seen only 3 times for more than a month of usage. That's it.
I have a Poco X3 Pro 6/128 and it has a Huaxing panel. So far, I haven't experienced any issues aside from the overheating. It's not really "that hot" but it's just a bit hotter than my old phone (Honor Play) with casual use. If I play graphic intensive games like Genshin Impact, it does get hot.
Its Plastic back cover that.... yes, you gusset it. It move as every plastic, and when you drop some weird loud bass, loudspeaker gonna push lots of air around it...
Not to mention that Im sure it not really back cover, but just speakers them self that make noise, as we need to admit Poco X3 Pro have nice powerful speakers so it have some punch.
Honestly almost every phone loudspeaker gonna get distorted sound when you max out sound... Not to mention that all depend on sound source.
If you Listen to music on phone speakers... well.... you probably annoy everyone else around you anyway as no normal person listen to FULL VOLUME music on phone... Not to mention movies...
And as ringtone? its loud enough even at 70-80%, + you have vibration, notification led, and most of people today use smartband/smartwatch so its hard to miss a call. For anything else, just use BT or wired headphones.
For me:
1- I don't find it issue I'm okay.
2- You can reduce volume of call audio during the call.
3- Didn't notice this issue.
5- I got "Tianma" brand with 256/8 variant global. Didn't get ghost touch issue.
So I'm lucky
Regards

all looking good on lineageOS
you say you can't disable dark mode in game?
its working here.
so as i search for the bug, seems miui dark mode is bugged with apps that has dark mode build in, the only solution is do turn miui dark mode off when playing the game, by turn in off only for game in miui dark mode options or if the game not on the list turn dark mode completely off...

Just Go to "Settings > Display > DarkMode > More dark mode options" Then toggle off forcing dark mode to your game or apps that already including dark mode
Well the problem was that it doesnt show up there for some reason but alright.
Don't know if this is a known issue or not but it's just become apparent that I randomly wasn't receiving calls (no notification at all) or it would ring about 3 times before dropping the call (shown as a missed call). I confirmed this by phoning from the landline as I think I've missed a few Sky call backs.
I always have the WiFi on and I've temporarily turned it off to test. Anyone else had similar? I'm on stock and up to date.
Turn of WiFi Calling feature in cellular settings then try again. This happened to me when I was using MIUI where randomly sometimes I won't receive calls. After extreme fiddling I figured out turning off WiFi calling solved the problem.

Don't have WiFi calling as my carrier (Sky UK) doesn't support it on this phone anyway.
issue #2 :
2. When on a call, people around you may listen to the person you're having a call with because the earpiece is quite loud.
very annoying,
audio set to mono and Balance not working (Balance does not change for call) however balance change applied for music, youtube etc...
lowering vol call to min, reduce the effect, but caller can be heard very clearly in a quiet room.
using lineageOS 18.1.
Anyone got info about a real fix (conf file or patch ) ?

Turning off WiFi seems to have resolved this for me, strange how it suddenly didn't like having WiFi on.
I'm having terrible standby drain - on a fresh install as well.
Battery historian cites the main kernel wakeup reason as -1:misconfigured IRQ 667 glink-native_modem and it's driving me mad!
I've tried Naptime, Servicely, Greenify, Comatose and just putting the phone into flight mode but it doesn't work.
Any advice would be hugley appreciated.

A fresh install of what exactly? If it's not stock you'd be better off posting on the appropriate thread.
