My X4 pro is getting so many scratches on the screen as well as the back, I need some good affordable protection, suggest me if any.
Factory screen had a protector on it which is working good for me - also used the clear silicone case it came with. AliExpress has some good looking cases though.

I peeled off the factory protector as it was already kinda blurry and using the phone without it so I got some scratches. The clear case is there but it'll get yellowish in a few months and I hate it!

Strange, mine wasn't blurry maybe you got unlucky there. Can't say I would use a phone without a glass/film screen protector anyways and as for the case I'm using mine until my replacement arrives. I'm from NZ so no one stocks Xiaomi/Poco accessories sadly

I use my phone for work too and keep it on some hard surfaces while using it outside so the factory protector got so many scratches. And I use my phone as it is without the clear case for 10 days because I liked it that way but I've to get good quality protection to avoid these damages!

You can get a Gadgetshieldz screen guard which is good for scratches protection, and this protector can cover even your phone back. I use this full-body protector on my phone for a long time, it sticks well and doesn't peel off!

Thank you for the response, is there a film protector for the back of the phone too? I've never heard of that, I'll check it out.
Yes, it is there and it is good enough to protect the phone from scratches and bumps!
Yes, I saw the full body protector which is not too pricy so I've ordered it for my X4 pro! There are also skins on the website for the phone is it good if I get one to cover the back of the phone!

Hey everyone, just got a htc Desire, and loving it. I bought it off of someone and its an unbranded european version. I want to get a good screen protector for it preferably from HTC themselves, but their own branded one is only available in the UK from play.com and I'm in the US. So do you guys know of any great screen protectors I can find online?
Zagg invisible shield.
No Zagg please.
IT's too soft and thick, it's hard to apply. It's adhasive side coming out from it's edges and it' makes dirts to stick on it.
I'm using commuter case oem screen protector and it feels better.

I got one last week and know exaclty what you mean about the sides sticking. mine has pocket fluff stuck to the side. I thought it was fairly easy to apply and fits perfectly though.
I've just bought a cheap silicone case, and another zagg to put under it - so the fluff won't see the sides anymore!!
One word: BRANDO. Have been a great fan of Zagg for a long time; did try Brando once: will never go back! Incredibly clear, smooth as glass, they don't get sticky, not even after months, and they don't get any scratch on them. Simply awesome!
Brando Ultra Clear! probably the best screen protector out there..i have mine for 7+ months and only have some minor scratches.
Martin Fields is really good as well, but gets scratched quicker than brando.
I'm using Martin Fields for about 4 months and yea it does has a few scratches, but not noticeable.
However, the Brando maybe better and is cheaper.

I've had really hard luck with those: first of all i was pissed about the fact that they don't cover the entire screen surface...but the major flaw came in a few days: i started to notice a 1 inch violet/blue halo in the middle of the screen. At first i thought it was something greasy ended there when i applied it, so soon after i removed the protector and tried to clean it, and guess what? It wasn't dirt, it was just the screen protector "fading"! I still have to ask a refound, but i'm just too lazy i guess...in the while i'm using a universal film, but my brando ultra clear is already on its way
I use cheap ones from ebay, great fit, easy to apply and you get 6 in a pack for £1.20, was £1.12 last week when I bought some packs.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120646291516&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
Edit: scrap that, just re read and your in the us, still good for Uk buyers though

That's unlucky. I've not had any problems as such. In fact I don't even realise it's on most of the time. The selling point for me was the camera lens protector
Mine one has left about 1mm from the bottom, and a very very minimal gap (0.25-0.50 mm) around the other edges.
Better luck with brando (it does sound like an excellent product).

Have something that is quite the opposite to what you wrote. It's Martin fields screen protector.
It's stiff, thin, no adhesive, you can wash it in warm water (both sides), easy to apply and if you fail you can re apply it again and again and again

Ok I gave this case a good two weeks of use so here's an honest review. Please excuse my horrid writing skills :silly:
I bought this case from a vendor on ebay for $22 shipped to my door step (He only had one in stock). When I recieved the case it was sexy. The materials used to make the Ballistic cases are top notch. This case makes you feel like your Nexus 4 will not die when it falls off of something. It is on the larger side of cases but I like big bulky cases.
OK for the past two weeks I have been using the Ballistic case non stop. I have dropped my phone from a pretty tall height onto concrete using this case. I was on a tall ladder about 12ft high and my phone was on top playing pandora. Well I derped and forgot the phone was up on top when I went to move the ladder. Lets just say it sounded bad when myt Nexus hit the concrete. I picked it up thinking of the worst and what do you know the case protected the Nexus 4 from any damage! So the case paid for itself already! The only negative thing I can say about this case is the rubber used is a little too soft and it does collect dust. Other then that I give this case a 9.5/10!
Ballistic Cases make otterbox's look like cheap plastic snap together ebay cases compared to the LG Nexus 4 Ballistic Shell Gel SG Series Case. I will never buy from another casemaker again!

Do you have a screen protector? How does the case fit with the screen protector?
Does the case cause the phone to get hot at all? I wonder sometimes if these thick cases cause devices to run warmer thus reducing the life of the phone.
Also is that a custom rom you're running? What clock/weather widget are you using?
Thanks again!

No screen protector on my device so I couldn't tell ya. Um no my device never gets hot with or without the case. And I am running the stock rom and the widget is HD Widgets.
What icons are you using on your launcher? Good review by the way.
Nice review. I have this same case and it is great. the response when pressing the power button is really good. The case makes the phone feel solid and secure in hand. I previously had the official bumper and while it showed off the phone it was slippery and I doubt it would have really protected it on a fall. I would have saved myself weeks of angst if I had bought the Ballistic case when I first got my N4.

just bought 2 myself
Received the Glass screen , Very impressed !!!
Before buying the glass protectors I was using a tempered glass I bought off eBay which claimed to be just 3 mm. The quality was pretty nice, but the issue I have with the eBay one was that it was too thick and got easily smudged up and the screen was not easy to clean. The corners were cut very well but:
The I received the one from Xtremeguards and WOW: the quality is incomparable, for much cheaper I got a much thinner screen protector which fits perfectly on the screen, its very nicely cut, rounded on the corners, and it doesn’t get smudgy at all, very clear and easy to clean.
Their customer service is top notch as well, I would certainly recommend these glass protectors at this price
Thnx OP. Ordered mine off of Amazon.

Got mine today. Came in a basic bubble wrap package. For what you pay it's almost expected but idc about packaging anyway lol. After prepping the screen, the screen protector installed just as easily as the high dollar kind. All cutouts are perfect and I'm liking the rounded edges. Also feels very smooth to the touch.
So far I'm very impressed.

I actually had the Luvvitt glass screen protector and messed up the application, so I got the XtremeGuard one instead. I really can't tell the difference between the two except for the cutout. As far as feel goes, they feel the exact same to the touch. I don't think it's too thick: I kind of like my home button recessed with the screen protector. Definitely with the $6. Might get a backup too.
I got the el-cheap-o screen protectors in to use while we all wait for some decent tempered glass options. These things are not the same as what is shown on amazon. i have to assume they will work... although i really don't know.

Return to Amazon - I have same issues as others. Arent we going to have this issue with ANY screen protector? If it is smaller, you will distinctly feel the "drop off".
Little different
Just got the clear ones in today. Mine aren't what Amazon shows but they differ from the ones you received as well. There are cutouts for the bottom sensors and a centered cutout at the top. It's also smaller than the screen to avoid the curved edges. They actually sent me an email after ordering it explaining why it's smaller than the phone.

I was just looking at these from Amazon, I usually go straight otterbox for my phones and I've found the screen protectors that come with it are adequate so I've never shopped around for other screen protectors. I just got this bumper/case in: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00N3VHD6C
It fits quite snug and I'm wondering how it will sit with a tempered glass cover.

I'm looking for a glass screen protector that fits well and doesn't lift up on the edges.
I already somehow got a really light scratch on my screen, which is the first time ever for me since I bought screen protectors immediately for my past phones.
I've been browsing for about an hour or so for a decent glass one and it seems many of them have issues.
Please post below if you can recommend me one! Price range of around $10.

Durable Galaxy S6 Tempered Glass Screen Protector
I tried the one below this weekend, finally one that doesn't have halos. I have tried Zagg, Amfilm, iSmooth, bunch of other generics and they all had halos.
The problem is that for a lot of these glass screen protectors you get one shot to align int perfectly to avoid halos. For example, the Volt one is cut much smaller than Zagg so it is more forgiving. I tried 2 different Zagg ones and couldn't get it on without halos. For $8.95 the Volt one simply works.

I don't know, I tried the Volt and it is the worst one yet in regards to halos. Installed great with no bubbles but the edges are awful. I'm just going to film as I don't think there is an acceptable glass protector out there yet. Cannot recommend.

I installed Volt without a problem, you have to get the alignment right. I have pictures a few posts above, you can see no halos.
It's clearly an installation issue, I saw a lot of people install Zagg perfectly, but I couldn't get it to stick without halos. You couldn't get the Volt to work, but I could.

I've installed a bunch of glass screen protectors on other phones (not S6) with no issues. I'm actually pretty good at it. Definitely was not an alignment issue as it was aligned quite well. Glad you had luck with your Volt but I certainly did not. Just installed an amFilm protector and it looks great!

I think it is luck, doesn't matter how many you have installed, I have installed them on numerous phones as well. I installed two amFilm ones and had halos on each attemptl. The screen protectors for the S6 are very unforgiving and there is very little room for error.
