Did you find an answer to this ... I'm in the same boat i have the sm-n986n model and would like to flash either US or Canadian firmware on it.
Can I flash Indonesian XID firmware (SM-S908E) to a EUX (European) version in my SM-S908B? With other words, can we safely flash a firmware for SM-S908E model to a SM-S908B model?
If same chipset (i.e. Snapdragon to Snapdragon, or Exynos to Exynos), then yes you should be able to.
Why would you want to do

Why do you want to do that? What feature are you looking for that the Indonesian firmware doesn't have?
Indonesia uses the Snapdragon Soc and the European are using the Exynos. You can't flash the firmware over otherwise you brick your phone!

Indonesian XID firmware supports native call recording.
Hello there!
I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with the model SM-S9080 (China). Unfortunately my S22 Ultra does not support all languages fully, I switched the language from English to Swedish and some stuff remained in English (settings and other things).
My phone's model is SM-S9080...... what would happen if I install the firmware for a european version of the firmware (SM-S908B) of the Galaxy S22 Ultra (SM-S908B) on my model (SM-S9080)?
Try Morelocale 2, and if it doesn't work then use other similar apps.
Uploading another firmware will put you on a path with problems.

Problems? Like what? Would it work?
Last time I installed a firmware for a phone it was the phone region's firmware and it works perfectly.

You can't install any Exynos Firmware on a Snapdragon Variant. Best option is flashing Hong Kong Firmware (TGY).

So it has to be the same processor, can I in this case install the USA version?
I saw a version called China (Open china), do you by any chance know what is meant by "Open China"?:
Download Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra SM-S9080 CHC China (Open China) S9080ZCU2AVF7 firmware
Fast download latest Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra firmware SM-S9080 from China (Open China) with S9080ZCU2AVF7 and Android version 12

It isn't just the same processor you should be worried about. Not every phone of the same processor have the exact same partition sizes, which could cause the flash to fail. They could also not support the same mobile radios. There are enough variables that I wouldn't feel comfortable assuming it would work based on processor and supported bands alone.
If it doesn't work, the best case is the flash fails. Worst case you brick it, I don't think this one is likely as it should just fail but also I'm personally not in a position to risk it.

There's only one CHC Firmware, some refer to it as "Open". Your device is an outlier, only three versions of firmwares can be flashed on it, none are from the US. Only CHC, BRI and TGY.
Hello,
I am thinking about new phone - some time ago i had Galaxy Note 9 N9600 with Snapdragon and TGY csc. There was Polish language avaliable.
Could someone check the language list and inform me about the polish language avaliability in this phone with TGY CSC?
Thanks,
Best Regards
