Hi everyone, I'm having issues with the built-in camera app, stoped working out of the blue a few weeks ago and I've been using gcam since but i liked the realme camera app, anyone has any idea of what could've happened? I'm attaching some logs filtered with com.oplus.camera and some sys info, any suggestions?

I have a bug report related to Sensonic HD for Samsung GS 4 GT-I9500 since I can't post it in the original thread (like I said I'm new here).
The dev said the ROM is stable and I already flash it for my phone and I found several bugs including:
Camera crash
WiFi can't be turn ON
Camera error sometimes
Cannot use 3rd party camera app (the camera will display green color) Eg: Camera 360
Advance setting is inaccessable and settings will crash
The question is: Am I the only one who got all this? Whoever has the answer are welcome to give yours.

Hi. I am currently using Miui rom for Xperia J. I have a problem which I have seen on any other custom rom such as Touchwiz rom or CM10 rom. I have google the problem but I can't find any solution. I don't know if it a bugs for Cm based or what. When i install third party camera apps such as Camera360 or Cymera, my front camera will be upside down. But the camera that in the system can be used normally. I also have tried to fix the rotation of the camera360 but still facing that problem. Hope someone helps. Thanks in advance.
Edit: After trying a few camera app in google playstore finally i know only a few camera apps will be upside-down for the front camera. And so far i have to change my favorite camera apps because front camera of camera360 also will be upside down. I have seen this problem in other cm based rom too.

None of the Xperia J user have this problem? If so, I'm afraid it is my phone problem then.

I think the app has the problem. I never use camera360 though. I use retrica. It works fine.

Thank you for your reply. But I'm afraid that all my third party camera apps are like that. The camera system is the only one that work. Other camera apps will be 180' when using front camera. Actually I'm having this problem when I use custom rom non then the Sony based. When I'm using Alienrom or Doomsday, I never have this problem.
Hello and good day everyone, these past few days my default camera app can capture up to 13megapixel and today, i just found out that it's stock in 8megapixel. But apparently Droid Info detected my phone having a 13 megapixrl camera resolution, i also download a camera app called camera 360 and it can also capture up to 13megapixel. I also tried to clear data and restore my camera app to default but nothing happens. Is there any way to fix this problem? I just want to use my default camera app, it suits me perfectly. Thankyou very much

I have a Nokia XL and I tried lot of ROM. I found that the CM11 Rom of weritos ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-x/orig-development/rom-nokia-xl-cyanogemod-11-camera-t3303748 ) is the more stable for me but I have a problem, even if the default camera app works well, when I launch snapchat I can watch snap but the camera screen stays black (with front side and back side). There is the flash when I push the button but taken snap are black.
When I tried with a very old snap apk, I saw the camera working in background of the logscreen but I cant log because the version is to old...
Could you help me please ?

I recently unlocked the bootloader and installed Lineage OS 18.1 on my phone.
I tried the camera that comes with it, but video won't work. It crashes all the time.
I also tried a bunch of different versions of GCam, but with no success on the video part. Some record video but zero to no stabilization or stuff like that.
Do we have a stock camera app somewhere? I liked a lot that camera app.

The gcam need some config files to work.

The Question still remains. Is it possible to run Stock Camera on Custom ROMs or does it need lots of Framework modifications.

No, no possible. There is working port of stock camera called anx camera which require magisk to install. Cannot confirm if it is working on poco because dont have magisk. Just try. There is no other way to get stock camera.
Use gcam with config or google camera go 2.5 with night sight working and hdr by greatness.
crDroid 7.12 has an integrated Cam 204.NeoX (if I understand correctly an ANX-Cam-Mod, GUI style is similar to Stock) and this IMO is a highlight of this ROM.: Video EIS works very well (better then BSG/MGC GCam with XML Ronit etc., seems smooth as in stock MIUI Cam)
