Moto g stylus was pattern locked before I had reset it. Now trying to bypass the frp lock it has a pattern I have to enter before proceeding. After reading done tutorials and watching a few, when I get to the specific point of going to the drive to change the user icon it loops back the coding the user icon picture with out meeting me to further the process.
This worked for me last night I have moto g stylus android 12 model # xt2131-1
When you get to the WiFi menu after you disable and a few steps later reenable Google startup service and you don't see continue without WiFi option don't worry I didn't either i had to go back into settings thru accessibility and disable Google startup services again free that it let me get pass.. hopefully this helps

I am currently trying to root my original t-mobile mytouch. I have downgraded to cupcake with the sappimn.nbh file so when I turn on the phone I get the "touch the android to begin" screen. I am us millitary and currently stationed somewhere that I do not have service. I can drive about 20 min from here and get at&t service though.
I need to know if there is a way to bypass the google activation screen so that I can flash the recovery image and so on. Or is there a way to activate over wifi? If need be will it activate over the at&t network if i go for a drive?

So I have a bit of a predicament here... I'm helping my buddy root his LG 'XPower' prepaid phone he got from Boost Mobile awhile back.
However, before giving me the phone to work on, he preformed a 'factory reset' not knowing about the Factory Reset Protection that Google now puts on their phones. Essentially it locks you out from completing the phone setup unless you can login to the last Google account that was used on that phone.
My friend doesn't remember.
SOOOO. Ive got a much bigger task ahead of me than I originally thought. Rooting the phone would have been easy, and I know once the phone is rooted, I can easily pick and choose what google services to activate (such as FRP)... but is there a way to do that that doesn't require me being able to access the phones home screen?
or is there some sort of FRP bypass method someone could show me that would allow me to bypass the lock, so I can root from there.. ?
Idk... I don't wanna waste too much time doing something I don't need to... or something that isn't going to work... anybody got any advice for me?

So my Dad uses a Galaxy Note 10 Plus. He works at a high level judiciary position i cant mention, so information stored on his phone are govt. classified stuffs. Security is very vital.
He is almost 70 , so memorising pins and password is not his thing.
Therefore he uses Face Unlock/Face ID feature and Fingerprint scanner for unlocking phone and securing his apps.
But this morning, for God knows what reason, his phone can ONLY by unlocked via GESTURE PATTERN.
The thing is, Dad never uses gesture pattern, he must have set it when he first recieved the phone from the govt. He doesnt recall the gesture anymore.
All the officials have been trying their luck with the gesture unlock to no avail.
He needs to recover his phone data fast.
Is there a way for him to unlock his phone using face ID, fingerprint, or even email authorisation or something like that??
As far as I know, after you've tried many times, you will get a messages "Forgot pattern" on the lower left corner of your lock screen. Touch Forgot pattern and enter Google Account info to clear the lock.
Just hope he can still remember the password for the google account!
Just keep on trying until the phone starts asking you for the account (mail) and it's password.
Use the account data (password) to unlock the phone.
It is possible that his employer has the phone under MDM (Mobile Device Management). That is very common on mobile devices that access secure information from an employer. It allows them to control settings on the phone. If so, they may be the ones that changed the settings and they also may be able to unlock the phone.
Is it still possible to unlock the bootloader on a SM-G965W from Canada (BWA) with Android 10 G965WVLU9FUE2 (May 2021). I cannot get OEM Unlock to show up. Tried all the normal steps to get it to show up. Change time, disable updates, reboot, wifi connected, logged into google, logged into samsung, etc. and probably evey combination of these settings. In the process of actually waiting 7 days.
My POV: If OEM Unlock option isn't offered, then manufacturer doesn't allow unlocking the booloader.
