Alright so....
All Galaxy S series except the Galaxy S6/S6 Edge have got the Android 12 Custom ROM's made for them. Can anyone make an Android 12 custom rom for this device? It will be highly appreciated. Thank you!
I don't think anyone is actively developing for the S6 anymore. May be eventually someone will build A12L, but at least for now, dont get your hopes up

yeah its a shame. guess because there is no expandable storage, not a lot of people stick around. but android 11 is pretty good for a device that came out in 2015.
who knows... may be someone will build A12 for it eventually.

Oiii....I tried the gsi's. Unfortunately, there was no success. The phone was bootlooping continuesly. Most Android 12 gsi's are for "a/b type partition only" and the S6 is "A only type". That's the reason why it won't work. I guess....We'll have to wait for the Dev's to make an android 12 rom for this device.

Alot of people still use the S6 to this day, even I have it as my secondary phone. It's running evolutionx (android 10) and it's absolutely a beast, it works buttery smooth. So smooth infact that it can beat a midrangers with ez. I can't imagine how cool it would be to run a12 on a phone that's almost 7 year old at this point. Hopefully, Some dev could give a new life to this device again.

RROS has plethora of features and customisations. You could try it. And if you still have free time, also check out Lineage and then pixel experience. As 1 GB ram isn't much, try sticking to the stock experience as much as possible.
And one more thing... Did you succeed in creating custom recoveries for your device?
As your device shipped with Android 8, it might support treble and if yes, try creating a custom recovery with treble support. You could then simply use GSIs without the difficulty of compiling ROMs.

So I did have a go with GSIs, and it was slightly succesful. I was only able to flash android 8.1 systems. BUT I COULD NOT, for the love of god, could not flash android 9 for my device. I ended up sticking with my resurection gsi 8.1 . But if what you're saying is true, I should be able to flash android 9 on my android 8.1 using their bootable recovery? And yes I booted into the recoveries I compiled.

Noice. Then go with compiling the latest ROMs yourself. But I believe that takes a lot of time doesn't it? By compiling them yourself, you can customise the hell out of them!
My bad, I never even tried making a ROM (so I actually know nothing about it LOL ).
And be careful, you might brick your device...

This Module enables RAW Capture on the Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A20e, and changes the camera Hardware Level from Limited to Full.
RAW Capture is required for most GCams to work.

How does it work?
It works by replacing the library located at /vendor/lib/libexynoscamera3.so with an edited one. For reverse engineering enthusiasts, here is the patch applied to the library.
Prerequisites
- Magisk v20.4 or newer
- Android 11 vendor and kernel (Not compatible with versions of the Eureka Kernel older than 9.0)
Installation
Install as a normal Magisk Module, through Magisk Manager or TWRP.
Troubleshooting
Camera doesn't work, shows Black Screen
Make sure you are using a compatible Android 11 kernel and vendor.
If this issue is happening after updating your firmware, please let me know.

Did those ROMs ask you to flash a custom kernel/vendor? If that's the case i'd suggest to try in phhusson's AOSP GSI with stock Android R kernel and vendor.
I can't test it on my phone right now as i don't have enough free space to make a TWRP backup.

The kernel used by that ROM is using the camera drivers from Android Q, that's why it's not compatible with this module. You will have to use another kernel or build its kernel without this commit.
Edit: This module may work with the OneUI 3 variant of the Eureka Kernel, but you will most likely run into some issues. Feel free to try it and tell me if it worked or not.
Screenshots
Thread updated. Added module for the Galaxy A20e.
Version 2.1 of the module released, the biggest change is that there is no longer a need to change the Black Level in GCam settings, so GCams (or other camera apps) that don't have this option should now take photos without pink tint.
Full changes can be found here.

Hi, i am a member of the Eureka Team. As you may know, we make AOSP ROMs too, but we were using Q camera blobs on our vendor, till now, and we are going to switch to R camera blobs.
I'm wondering if we can use this module's library for our team's roms, we will credit you correctly. On our posts and etc.

Yeah this is one of the main things holding me back on considering this ROM - not a great user experience for us OnePlus 9 users who don't have wireless charging...
AFAIK it can only be fixed by the dev but not even sure its a known issue - doesn't really get much attention when it's mentioned (neither here nor on telegram).

TWRP 12.1 for Galaxy A53 5GInfoNOTE THAT THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. IT IS NEITHER BUILDING NOR RUNNING AT THE MOMENT.
Also note that I never ported a TWRP device tree for any other device before.
I started working on a TWRP build for the Galaxy A53 5G. More specifically, I started extracting the device tree with the twrpgen tool using the original stock recovery.img.
Then, I adapted the output to match the new "twrp" style syntax, as the twrpgen tool still produces the old "omni" files.
My hope was to get at least the build process running inside GitHub actions, such that we have a CI pipeline running for this where everybody can easily contribute and improve.
While the build actions sometimes seem to succeed, the out/target/product/a53x/ folder contains neither a .img, nor a .zip file, which I could upload to the phone.
Even though this is not building at the moment, it might be some time saver for somebody who has worked with TWRP builds before and we might quickly get this running.
Feel free to contribute to this repository or fork it.

No, is there a lot of special things to consider? Do you think it might be easier to build it with twrp 11?
I thought since it is now the default branch (12.1), it should be the one to use.

1. Yes, especially concerning environment for builds and also the difference between 11/12 FBE Data encryption etc; 2. No, that URL was about 12.1, but to read You must register and log in. Than You will see a desperate battle and necessary things to keep in mind. There You will find the results for TWRP 12.1 for some Google Pixel's.
Also, in other thread of XDA I've seen LOS 19.1 and TWRP 12.1 ready to use for one of Samsung Galaxy (S8 ?), but seems it includes some proprietary Samsung SW. May be You can ask there for details ? The Developer, Ivan Meler, is friendly and communicative.

Ah, I downloaded the fastboot image from some website, I didn't patch that myself. Just don't remember the link now as I had to try several.
Have you run fast food on AA53 it don't have fastboit Or did you enable it and if you did can you tell me how
McDonald's or Burger king?

Hi Can you help me unlock my Samsung A53 5g which is stuck on a pattern without losing my data that recover so much ????
Hello everyone,
i want to install a custom rom for my device tecno spark 8c because the stock rom is so trash like ads limit apps i hate it i tried to search for a custom rom for my device and i didnt find any resource or link for existing custom rom for my device does any one know where i can find or if there is one i will be greatfull and thanks
While there is no custom ROM's for your device, your next bet should be GSI's or Generic System Images. These are ROM's with a one-size-fits-all design. Maybe you can search around for a custom ROM you like and see if they have a GSI available.

Here's a tutorial that I used before: https://www.xda-developers.com/flash-generic-system-image-project-treble-device/
Also, here's a minimal ROM that has a GSI available: https://havoc-os.com/
Do note that you need a GSI that matches or is a higher android version than the current system.

ok i read a little about gsi and project reble so the rom is basicaly a rom that run on anydevice because the vendor or arcitecture kinda separate from software didnt quite understand what i need is that my device to meet the terble project requierments so i am able to install it.
ok so here i found this link
https://www.getdroidtips.com/android-12-tecno-spark-8c-kg5k/
i find it before i create this thread and it shows gsi first i didnt want to use it because the rom source unknown for me i didnt know gsi and anything else i was not trusting it
ok so now if i want to search a good gsi rom compatable with my device other than this i want to know if my device compatable with project treble where can i see that and what famuos roms are have this kind like lineage ,and similar to havoc so i find the i like its features and compatble
