I am currently using crdroid 8.4 by @GtrCraft, when I use the advance restart and go to recovery. My TWRP starts blinking and can't do anything.
Any help please
A known issue on A12 & 12l no matter what recovery you're using, just add the following line on build.prop and you're good to go:
persist.sys.binary_xml=false

So I updated my s6 to 6.0.1 OTA. Then decided to root using CF-root.
Now when I try installing the custom recovery it just stays at the screen. I can boot normally & into download mode. But it won't boot into recovery mode. I downloaded the latest version for my phone model and it still doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?
Also, what is SEandroid?
And another question off topic. I usually use textdroider to change my dpi on my previous phones but it doesn't seem to work for my s6. Any ideas?

I use arter97 twrp 3.0.0.2 and when enter recovery mode, the phone show like that but it work well
The worst is waiting to see if the flash worked or not... it stays on the boot screen for a while :fingers-crossed:
If you flash the 3.0.2.1 version of twrp from here this issue should be resolved.

Awesome that worked! Thanks! One last question... My phone is encrypted and because of that, I'm not able to back up my phone, at least that is my thought process, is there anyway around that? Also does this mean i can't install zip files either?
Hi everyone.....I am new to rooting world....I rooted my one plus one last week.......Once rooted I was in cm 13.1...Then I switched back to cm 12.0 that is lollipop 5.0.2 by flashing the zip file..From then on if I try to flash any other rom,TWRP recovery provides error 7(Not able to install that particular zip file)......So i watched Youtube videos and saw answers in xda forums like deleting the asserts and rezipping the rom....Even then I am getting the same error
I am currently using latest TWRP recovery....Please anyone provide the solution .......Thanks in advance

You'll have to flash stock Cos13.1x(not cm13) from fastboot mode(not TWRP).

Hello everyone! I'm facing a problem. I flashed TWRP on my Redmi Note 6 Pro doing everything right. I flashed RR Pie and everything works as it suppose to. The problem is the fact that everything i open TWRP it freezes and some lines starts to show up in the bottom of the screen (showing a shadow of the MIUI nav bar). I already tried to reflash it and tried another versions and others Custom Recovery but the problem is still there. Do you guys know how to solve it or have any ideia about the cause? Thank you.
Use any others custom recovery instead of TWRP.

can you guys maybe give me some links? im trying to flash a custom rom on this Redmi S2 for about a week now...
i have: unlocked bootloader, twrp, havoc rom
i tried: flashing different roms for example Lineage or Havoc (Havoc-OS-v3.0-20191225-ysl-Official) using twrp (twrp-3.2.1-0-ysl.img), but everytime i do like explained on other threads (fastboot flash twrp, wiping data, installing os zip) i get error 255, saying that its unable to install the zip.
Would appreciate some help :/
Same here, I've been trying to flash Havoc with no success. Found that link but none of the files seem to fix the issue https://files.orangefox.download/OrangeFox-Beta/ysl/
Thanks in advance, if I find anything I will get back to you.

Hey! So I've figured it out, you have to flash first this in fastboot https://files.orangefox.download/OrangeFox-Beta/ysl/ the R10.0-1 RC1 .img file
And THEN flash this https://orangefox.download/en/device/ysl once you are in the recovery.
Then it worked for me, finally, hope this helps.
Hi there!
Yesterday I was trying to install twrp on my samsung a12 (A125F) running android 11. I've tried Samsung Auto TWRP porter v1.1 by Hovatek. But when I've tried to install via odin it failed.
So I've downloaded unofficial TWRP from internet and tried to install via twrp app. Everything was ok but when I tried entering custom recovery it started bootlooping (Still goes on)
How can I fix my problem?

If you download the stable build yes, you may only encounter problems with the screen touch after putting the phone to sleep (idle mode). Currently working on finding a fix.
