Is there a way to fix this?
Flash stock with Odin
Hello, I have a question: why are you trying to flash a custom ROM using Odin? It is usually done with TWRP...
And if you want to do you need, you have to again reboot into Odin (downloading) mode and to flash a stock ROM for your device

Hi everyone. I'm not really sure what's going on with my recovery. I've been on TWRP 2.5 I believe for a while and decided I wanted to try the new Kit Kat Roms so I attempted to flash a new recovery via ROM installer and I got an error message so I thought I'd try ROM manager and flash CWR touch. It downloads and successfully "flashes" and even tells me I have the latest but when I reboot to recovery it takes me back to my original recovery. I'm attaching a picture of the output message from rom installer so that maybe someone smarter than me can help. Thanks.

Hi,
Currently running 4.4.4. Downloaded the official release of Oxygen OS. Went to fastboot mode, unlocked the bootloader, flashed TWRP (for bacon). Everything was done without any errors. But when I try to access the recovery, it still shows the stock CM recovery instead of TWRP recovery.
Tried again with flashing Philz recovery but still same results.
Any ideas please?
Thanks,
Danish

Did you remember to uncheck the "update CM recovery" option in Developer Options?

I brought the phone used and some dude installed oxygenOS on this using whatever recovery that is and I want to remove that and install TWRP and install RR 7.1 because this recovery thingo won't let me install anything it just comes up with constant failures. I have searched but I have no idea what I am looking for I just came across that image trying to find out how to remove this recovery but I don't want to brick my phone so if someone can help me out and install TWRP over this that would help a tonne.
fixed the problem by not rebooting via fastboot after installing TWRP

I have a moto e5 wont boot normaly or even turn on. Although I am able to enter AP Flashboot Flash Mode (secure) but thats it. The only option that does anything is 'Barcodes' which is no help. Also tried using 'Rescue and Smart Assitant' that does or says it found the Firmware and the flashing from them begins eventually saying 'flash succees' and reboots but it wont never reboot and the only way too see anything on screen is to go back into 'fastboot flash mode' and right back where i originally started. My PC does recognize the device using 'Tiny Adb and Fastboot'. Any Suggestions ???
