Hello. After update there is no more Absolute Volume under Dev.Options. I managed to fix sound of my bluetooth earphones with "volume synch" options in device settings, but i cannot realise where i can find same option for wired ones? Any idea?

I can't adjust the hearing volume on my bluetooth headset via the volume control on my Polaris.
Is this a bug or a HTC feature? In that case, a really dissapointing one.
The volume control on my 4 year old Motorola Razr did that job.
Anything to do? The problem is that my BT doesn't have any volume controls on it, it relyes on the handsets control (Sony Ericsson HBH-IV835)
Anybody knows?
Anybody knows?
It's bad, becuse I love that handsfree. But not beeing able to adjust the volume isn't good, I then have to change handsfree.
Btw, is there a registry setting for the BT handsfree volume?
Is there any hack or way to modify the volume of the BT headset... When connected to my car the music and button press sound is nice and loud, as soon as im in call the volume is far too low to hear people, car is on max volume and the phone is on volume 10. After the call is finished and it switches back to BT audio mode the volume is fine.
In the previous android release (6) multimedia volume and bluetooth headset volume were linked, I better explain, if I raised the volume from bluetooth headphones appeared a popup on the phone with its volume bar,
here is an article that explains better http://www.androidpolice.com/2015/12/11/android-6-0-1-finally-links-bluetooth-and-system-media-volume-settings-but-it-breaks-volume-control-on-many-headsets/
Now with Nougat came back as before, two separate volumes, Phone and bluetooth headset.
Someone knows if they have removed the function or is hidden in some menus (I gave a look but I have found nothing).
thank you
I've got a set of Bluetooth earphones and the 3-button control on those works fine, with the volume + and - doubling up as skip forward/back a track when held.
However, with my wired Sony DREX12IPB earphones, only the play/pause button works and the +/- buttons do nothing. They used to work with my Redmi Note 4, before the headphone jack stopped working completely, so is there a reason why they wouldn't work with the 5i?
It seems almost impossible to find wired earphones with 3-button controls for Android now. There's some for iPhone like these Betron YSM1000 https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00XBZY0EI/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3108QBFCDGHS1&psc=1 but for Android all I can find is one-button controls, which are not only more fiddly for skipping tracks but also don't allow you to change the volume.
Anyone having trouble with the volume of wired earphones? I use them with an Apple 3.5 jack-Usb-c adapter and the volume of my headphones is really low. In the car it is imperceptible.
The loudspeaker or call volume is ok.
