Hey guys just curious how miui can display and send emoji (except view iPhone 4s emojis) and similar OS like Shendu cannot. I realize they are all also based on Cyanogenmod7. Any way to extract the code etc. And use it? I've used the font, not the same lol

You can send emojis and view them through the SMS app. Furthermore, emojis show up in apps such as twitter and instagram. If you want to put them yourself in these apps, emoji keyboard, muliti leng keyboard and go keyboard can do this.

I misunderstood you, but thanks for the info. I was wondering more along the lines of if there was an option to enable emojis were built in to MIUI somehow; like in the default Android keyboard or something.
I haven't tried sending or viewing emojis very often so I really wouldn't know if they work only on MIUI roms or not, sorry bud!

They are built in. They are built into the SMS app. You only need the either keyboards to insert emoji into apps. My question was how can miui view them so that we can apply It to other cm7 roms. Sorry if I didn't explain it correctly!

Alright well i just decided to root my phone and unlock the boot loader as well as loading liquidsmooths 4.1.2 ROM on here.. now my question is. how am i supposed to send emoji? like i can see emoji now but i see no option to send them.. that kind of defeats the whole purpose am i right?
also is there a way to change it from displaying Jellybean emoji to IOS 6 native emoji? i kind of prefer the look of those.
last question.. this is off topic but i'd like to change my boot loader image from liquid smooths back to the annoying Verizon LTE one, does anyone have the flashable zip for that?

hit the menu key and click "insert emoji" and then tap the order of the emoji you want and then hit the button at the bottom of the emoji window (should be OK or Send or something like that)
as far as the other 2 questions go, not sure about the native ios6 emoji as i don't really care cuz i only have 1 friend that uses emoji so i never paid too close attention, in my incredible 2 flashing days, devs had to cook native emoji support into it by modifying files...and shouldn't rom toolbox or that one app that has different boot images have that on there?

ahh i see thank you but that only works in the messaging app.. i was sort of wondering if it was part of the keyboard because i'd like to use it in other apps.

I know that there are some custom keyboards from the play store that you can install that have that option. Like Go keyboard.

yeah i know, but i'd really like to have an option of having the normal JB keyboard with emoji's added or maybe even the 4.2 keyboard w/ emojis if thats possible.
Does anyone know what apps are supported in multi/dual window? Also is there a way to change folder icons?

Also searching for one. hope I can get my [phone optimized.
So as the title says I just feel sick when I see thoose google emojis, really need to change them, please, tell me there is a way for this. And other question - maybe I can use adblocker without root aswell?
If it's just for texting try another app like Textra, you can select and download up to 4 different emoji styles. Hope this helps.
Ditto. I'd love to get the iphone emojis. Standard android ones look crap imo.

Have you looked at installing another keyboard like Kika or Emoji in the play store, there's plenty of them and going by the app screenshots there not the default google type either
I use Swype and uninstalled Honor and Google keyboards altogether.
There are many keyboards in the Play Store with different emojis.
I don't like SwiftKey (only 3 predictions and I think no 2 simultaneous languages supported) but it's probably the most popular.
Hello all,
I am unable to use custom fonts with my KWGT/Zooper Widgets. In fact, I can't even use the built in fonts that come with both of those apps. They simply show up as the default font.
Example, attachment #1 is how it should look. Attachment #2 is how it does look after choosing.
I haven't had this issue on any other phones, figuring its a Honor/Huawei thing. I'm hoping somebody has a work around for this.
Thanks!
I figured out that it just defaults back to the default font. How do I keep it from doing this with widgets?

yes, you have to keep defaults to have zooper custom fonts
I have it on the default and it's not working.
Even apps like Over won't show the custom fonts.

I switched back to the stock Halo theme and it wouldn't fix the font issue. I had to reset my settings before custom fonts would start working again.

default works for me , i am pretty dissapointed that i can t use other fonts, I've used product sans till now and it's strange to go back to default
Does somebody know hot to fix this? After Oreo update, I can finally change the font on my Honor 8 even if I'm not using English as system language; but every time I change the system font, the fonts of all my widgets stop working. It's a really strange behavior for a customization app, I'm forced to choose between keeping my widgets and the custom font! How could this be possible? Using these widgets for customization prevents me from doing a 100% customization of the phone!!!

Yup that's a known issue for a very long time now. I'm sorry but there's absolutely nothing you can do about it.

Unfortunately I'm aware of this, I've had a brief conversation with the developer of the app, who had told me that this a bug caused by Huawei this is so annoying!!
