Question Cannot share HDR videos - Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Is there an option somewhere to convert HDR videos to sdr when sharing?
It's not in Samsung Gallery and not even in Samsung Video Player.
Thanks

Try capcut. It allows you to convert your video to any resolution.

Funny cos from what I read in Samsung Gallery and/or Video Player there was an option once...

So is there no built in solution?
I see old one UI versions had a share as SDR option

I just tried video player to share.
It worked fine for me. Only problem is that the video quality is worst then 360p via text. What I did was open the video app then selected the video I wanted to share and then picked what app I wanted to use to share. I picked text, it asked me trim the video because it was to large to send via text. Clicked ok. That's all I had to do.

Where's the video app?

Unfortunately you have to install it from the galaxy store. It does not come pre installed. Mine didn't..

Funny cos it si already installed but not visible in the app drawer. If I go in galaxy store it is already installed and if I click open it run gallery

Locate it in the app draw. Press and Hold it until the menu pops up. Select "locate app". Then move it where you want it.

It is not in the app drawer. Its an headless app (no icon) but a plug-in of gallery app

I found a trick by which we can watch youtube video without buffering on slower network
1. Clear data of dolphine browser by using titnium backup.....and if u never open youtube on dolphine before you don't have to do this.
2. Know change ur user agent to desktop
3.now open m.youtube.com it should look like the attch. Image
4. Open any video and it will ask for video player or mx if u installed that .....select the player and u r ready to go
I found no buffer even on 10kbps speed.......
But video resolution will not same as the stock youtube player....

If you don't want to wipe data then simply go to manage applications and click clear defaults for your browser and youtube player respectively :3
And then maybe get 4G

Dude first step is not for clearing defaults of youtube player.......
Its that if ever open youtube site by mobile user agent......
Then dolphine always opens the default youtube site and this trick will not work....

Record Shield gameplay

I'm looking for an app that can record my Shield's screen, or streams my Shield to my PC. (Mainly free but I can do paid)
My HDPVR2 won't seem to work properly... Screen recording on android or streaming is the only way I can try.
By the way, this is how my PVR looks via HDMI, if anyone can help then I appreciate it.

Don't know how to get Shou to work, tried the other but didn't record anything...
To use both you need to root your shield first.
Mine is rooted but I do not know where it saves the video. Are there any user guide for it? Also it do not detect airplay with my macbook pro early 2011 running Mavericks.

Rooted upon un-boxing.
They are saved in movies/shou.
To get shou working just open it, click the round button to enable the daemon and go to the settings, set it how you want, and bring down the status bar and press the play icon

Just check a white star icon on video item. After changing to yellow color it lands in favourite videos.
Has anyone found any other free apps like this. I refuse to waste money on an app that I will never use! Why would anyone pay for an app to watch videos on a watch! It's a cool idea but I can't see anyone watching a whole video on a screen as small as the watch screen.
Waiting for login and download
I will buy (and even pay a bit more) as soon as I can login to see my playlists and download videos/songs for offline playing.

[Bug] MX Player Pro cannot move video files

I have already emailed support about this and am still awaiting a resolution.
I recently tried to move videos to a different folder with MX Player Pro for the first time. This feature would be very useful for me. However, when I try, first I am told I must give access to the ROOT of my storage. I am then told that the ROOT of my storage CANNOT be selected (internal or external). I am allowed to select a folder other than root, but the video is not moved, with no error given.

MX Player email support sent me a survey before any resolution or explanation, that doesn't result in a positive survey response.
