I remember they showed it at the launch but I could never find it in default camera app. Anyone know how to find it?

Hey guys,
I have a question.
I have a Huawei nova smartphone.
I am also an active youtuber.
I often use my Huawei Nova to take video footage on the go, because it has a pretty good 4K camera.
The annoying this is the 10 minute video recording limit.
Is there a way to bypass it?
I googled, and also checked all the settings on my device, but i can not seem to find it.
Thanks!
Hi,
I've searched a lot around google for the Gcam mod that works on Huawei devices. Although I did find the app, only the standard front camera works. Neither the Landscape or either of the portrait mode options work.
I'm guessing it's because the Mate series have Kirin processors. So I just want to know if there's an apk file for it.
Hello.
I'm using p40 pro, on emui 11.0.0.151
So I'm planning to use the p40 pro to shoot a youtube video of myself. As I'm working alone (camera on a tripod), I want to mirror the camera to an external display (pc monitor) to view what the camera sees.
Problem is, no matter what I do, the mirror preview will always display in portrait orientation (I'm sitting sideways in the monitor). Most of the other apps work fine with landscape orientation, but not the native camera app. I tried some orientation control apks on google play, but none of them work properly. I tried to use a thrid party camera apps, but all I tried can't really make full use of the camera (like no 4k 60fps). Tried desktop mode on the external display, but can't find the native camera app in the desktop.
Googled around, but no luck. Is there any way I can enable landscape orientation preview with native camera app? Without rooting or custom rom.
Thank you.
I have a new P50 pro but I don't see the HDR option when taking pictures. Anybody else experiencing this?
i dont remember where i was reading that the hdr function is activated/deactivated automatically via AI assistant
I would like to know if there is any way to install the gcam on our huawei that improves the video and photos that are taken with the camera that comes from the factory. Do any of you know if it can be installed and if so how to install it?
Not much support from for gcam on huawei, only version 7.2 i think can be supported but some modes wont work or crashes app, you can also try the Camera Go (GCam Go), try different versions and play around with settings, portrait mode, hdr works and images are taken in 50mpxl too
thanks for your answer
