Question Moto G Stylus 2021 2115DL (Tracfone) on Metro-by Tmobile - Moto G Stylus (2021)

Bought a Moto G Stylus 2021 2115DL Tracfone. I couple people said VoLTE "may not" work on metro-by Tmobile after it is unlocked due to the bootloader being locked. The plan is to have the phone unlocked by Tracfone after the 60 service period then use it on metro. I chatted with Tracfone and they said VoLTE will work on all carriers after being unlocked.
Will this phone work on metro after being unlocked?
Update; Just received the phone and entered the IMEI number on Tmobiile.com which stated the device is fully compatible and not blocked on Tmobile network. That does not mean the device is unlocked for a non Tracfone simm. I have to wait 60 days to get it unlocked.

Hey did you get your tracfone moto unlocked I'm having a hard time with them plus mine has no factory mode and there wanting like $60 to unlock

It unlocked first try following instructions on internet. And it works on metro. Have not played with VoLTE so dont know if that works.

[Q] Unlocking a Sprint LG G Flex 2

Today I went to unlock my Sprint LG G Flex 2 after paying it off. Sprint gave me a code (In a form of ##xxxxxx#) to put in via the dialer, but it did not unlock the phone. They are telling me to go to a 3rd party company to unlock it, but I am wondering what you guys think. I know there is quite a few software loopholes that some people have used on the G3 to unlock it, and I am wondering if any exist with the G Flex 2. Heres whats going on
With a Sprint sim the phone stays on Sprint and works no problem
With a Verizon sim it will use the Verizon voice network but it does not get data
With an ATT Sim it goes between "Service Disabled" and 4 bars, but will not make a call or send a text.
With a MetroPCS sim it will not call, text, and stays at service disabled
With a PTel sim it stays at service disabled
From what it looks like to me the phone is not GSM unlocked. Is there any way I can unlock it for GSM use. I know some bands wont be picked up, but I would like to use it on ATT 3G when im out in the countryside where Sprint doesn't have service. From what I know of since the Feb. 11 revision of laws for unlocking devices if the device is in good standing and paid off/contract expired the carrier is supposed to unlock it, but there method is not working for GSM use. I am wondering if anyone knows a way to get there code to work or a software loophole to unlock the SIM slot for GSM use. I am guessing that the phone is receiving att and Metro service because the split second before it goes to service disabled it gets 4 bars and the phone recognizes my phone number. My ATT and Metro APN settings are programmed in already in the roaming area, but there is not an APN settings input in the mobile networks category.
If anyone knows how and if this phone can be unlocked to work with GSM service it would be a great help.
Thanks
Jake
Also, when I use the the Available GSM networks feature under "Roaming>Avalable GSM networks" it always comes up wit "Error searching for networks"
The phone is rooted, could I use unlocking methods from the G3? How much of a risk would I be taking by using methods sourced from another LG phone? To expand upon that I would attempt using methods proven with the g3 or original g flex to try and get it to start running on gsm, I did submit a domestic and international unlock to sprint but all they gave me was a useless MSL code. I need to get this working on at&t or I will have to sell this wonderful phone.
As far as I know they will only unlock it for a Sprint customer who has the line active for 90 days. Unless something is different on the Flex 2 there is no code to enter, I unlocked my HTC One M8 before swapping to the Flex 2 and everything was done on there end. Additionally they state the unlock is only for international use and will not unlock the phone for US carriers although I cant verify if that is true as I don't have a US SIM card to try.

The phone is fully paid off, it was used for less than a month. In the USA there is a law that was passed on February 11th 2015 stating that all carriers must be able to unlock there phones for domestic service (DSU) as far as I know sprint does not seem to follow that, and makes it dang hard to do anything. I was able to get texts working, and data, but I cannot call or receive mms, anyone have any ideas on why that might be. I would like to try and get both working, and I will put in the work for going into the root and trying to get the bands unlocked for AT&T, if anyone can confirm that it is not a gigantic threat to the phone by attempting it, I would make a backup before, but my last experience with a Verizon S3 + Easy unlocker bricked my phone, and although I got it recovered it was no fun.

You stated that the phone is rooted, was the phone rooted when you attempted the unlock? If so, I would suggest restoring the phone to fully stock via the files supplied by Malxce and method described in cairui505's thread here:

I have used it and it works great. After that I would attempt the unlock as Sprint suggested and follow any further problems with Sprint tier 2 technical support. I'm sorry, I don't have the number handy but I'm sure Google will assist. Tier 2 support has a great deal more knowledge and capability than the store or tier 1 personnel. You are correct that they are required by law to unlock the phone at the users request but they will not make it easy and unlocking the phone doesn't change it's hardware capabilities. I'm just not sure if there is an underlying and limiting hardware difference between the carriers versions that would prevent proper activation on another carrier. The law requires that they unlock the unit, not include the hardware to port to other networks.
How would the phone being rooted stop it from being unlocked? I ask because I bought a used phone from ebay that's already internationally unlocked, I've been given the msl code multiple times by tech support, and as I've just discovered it's been rooted.

unlock code lg stylo T-mobile

hi Lg stylo H 631 t-mobile
ihave code for unlock network but when inter 2945#*631# show nothing
try device unlock for t-mobile to unlock till me is faild
how how can enter code to unlock ??
i have to code NCK & SPCK
You should have an app to request a carrier unlock. If the T-Mobile and the MetroPCS devices are essentially the same I don't see why this would not be the case. My MetroPCS LG G Stylo has the app on the home screen in the folder which contains all of my MetroPCS apps. I've actually been fighting with support about getting mine unlocked prior to the 90 day policy for use when I am in Germany.
I have problems unlocki ng my phone i bought someone off craigslist with a lock. On it cani get some help to google unlock this acct so i can activate my phone
Good luck trying to unlock the Style H631 with T-Mobile. They are a bunch of lying manipulating thieves. My mother bought the phone from T-Mobile 2 years ago, she was paying $65.00 a month ($15.00 included for phone payment). I told her to go with H2O, Cricket or AT&T, which have he best reception where we live. I told her to unlocked network her Stylo, we tried by codes by purchasing from online unlock companies, didn't work. I told her to contact T-Mobile and asked for an unlocked code since she was with them for 2 years and never miss a payment. They told her that she needed to pay the remainder of the phone in order for them to give them an unlock code. She did, it was around $120.00. At the time, they gave her a receipt and gave her a number to call. She called and told her that it can't be done because she already unlocked 2 phones in one year, and they only unlock one phone per year. It doesn't make sense, it was her first time unlocking a phone with T-Mobile, she then replied to them, if you can only unlock one phone per year, then how come it shows 2 phone in one year?
If you are with T-Mobile, you are simply out of luck, and the app to unlock is just an app that will display "device can't be unlock" or something along those lines. Best of luck.

TMobile LG g5 on metropcs

I've seen conflicting reports that to use a TMobile LG g5 on metropcs the phone doesn't need unlock and that it does? Can anyone confirm this
Yes it does need to be unlocked though its pretty simple to have it unlocked. I believe you can just call tmobile and tell them the situation. That it's a used tmo phone or whatever and you'll be leaving the country and would like an unlock code sent (that's what I told them anyway).
The phone doesn't need to be unlocked. I am using now LG G5 H830 from T-Mobile and I am a metro pcs customer. They use same network. No unlocked needed.

How to SIM Unlock Sprint Google Pixel 3a

Hello, does anyone know how to SIM unlock Sprint Google Pixel 3a (G020G) ?
I bought it from ebay and they told me it will work in Europe but it says SIM Card Is not supported. It runs the oldest Android 9 version and I can turn ADB on, OEM Unlocking can't be enabled.
You would need to take it to a Sprint store to unlock it. It is likely blacklisted though.
I have a funny story. I had a pixel3A bought from the google store but got the screen repaired under Sprint warranty. They sent me another device. However the device was locked. I went through weeks of calls with Sprint "unlocking" the device. But with it "unlocked" I was only able to use Sprint MVNOs. I get the same SIM error if I try to use a GSM SIM. Then to some degree I believe there is a big challenge regarding this device, at least using it with a non Sprint MVNO.

Cannot SIM Unlock Brand New Never Activated GM1915

I just bought an open box OnePlus 7 Pro on eBay. It has never been activated. I use Ting, who resells T-Mobile. My SIM card works and I can make/take calls. I have cellular data. I cannot unlock the SIM/Network. Called T-Mobile. Spent an hour yelling at them. The IMEI is beyond 'clean'. They have no record of the IMEI because the phone never had an active contract with them. Bottom line is I can't unlock the bootloader because I can't SIM unlock the device.
I tried the TMO to International conversion via EDL boot mode, but it still has Enable OEM Unlock greyed out because the device is network locked.
Is there ANY way I can network unlock a GM1915 (TMO branded) without T-Mobile? The one thing that came up in my discussion with the (hogtied) T-Mobile rep is provisioning the device with a full T-Mobile service plan at (at least) $75 for the first month which would cover the (less than) 90 seconds I need to unlock the SIM. Even that option wasn't something he seemed confident about and I wasn't about to try it on a whim. They (call center people) just have no way of inserting the record into the database queried by the unlock server.
Suggestions?
**UPDATE: I used a beta of Andriod Q from the OnePlus site and have the bootloader unlocked now, but still can't carrier unlock the network.
Someone just posted a guide on how to convert it to internation, this might be what you are looking for.
