Hello, my understandings of the smartwatch world are vague t. But I have a question. I want to buy myself a smartwatch. Huawei is wining by a big show with its battery life over Samsung but I just cant get a clear answer to my quwestion- Is there a way to transfer photos from my phone to the smartwatch in a gallery or other type of app(not to use them as watch faces)?
If it's possible how do I do that? If there is a solution to that is it plausible to gt2 pro also?
You can upload photos as watch faces but not in a gallery in your watch

Hello. If you can't find answers to your questions with the watch, you can go to Huawei Watch 3 global on Telegram, there they will be happy to answer your questions, queries and more..... They helped me a lot

Thank you for your information. But it seems that many members are confused about Huawei GT3 Watch and Huawei 3 Watch. Those two are, unfortunately, very different animals

In that channel of Telegram I have downloaded and installed WhatsApp, telegram, Facebook Messenger, Spotify no ADDS, Gboard, Color Note, Google Chrome. Mozilla, for now and they release a few more every few days.....
You can put photos on the watch 3 by installing watch droid on the watch. Then you can download the photos you have on the phone.Of course, you have to have also watch droid droid and Watch droid Assistant installed on the phone to sync with the watch on the SmartWatch.

Hey guys....
I'm still new to the Gear S2, sop pls bare with me.
I have been browsing a lot of watch faces, Mr time, and the samsung market. Love a lot of them.
I came across the Gear face maker, which I am getting used to. Mr time is awesome also, but the extras dont go with every face.
I had 2 questions:
1) where is everyone getting the watch faces from? A lot I see in Mrtime....tend to dissapear after some time, r0lex, Br*itling faces, etc. A bunch of [email protected] faces also show and dissapear over time.
2) ANyone know how to add weather in gear face maker? I love the options....the one thing I would like to add is the weather somewhere.
Thanks again!

Mr Time Maker got hit by copyright cease and desist letters which forced them to make alleged copyright infringing watchfaces private (so the watch-face creators could only access them but not share them).... there search for the gear watch designer tutorials they're really excellent and will make the app make a whole lot more sense...
I believe I've looked almost everywhere, and after a couple hours looking I give up and decided to ask:
On my GEAR S I have a clock face with the basics: Time in big bold numbers a the top, followed below in smaller fonts: Notifications count, Calendar (or agenda, whatever) count and weather.
It also has a short description of what's coming up for me: Next meeting (for instance: (Staff meeting 0800-1200))
I'm a Safety Manager (OSHA, on military installations) and that's all I need to get through the day. I just bought this S2 and LOVE IT, but I can't seem to locate a clock face that tells me everything I need at a glance.
Ideas?
Thanks, guys and gals. NICE WORK on what you do have available, and it looks like most of them are a lot of HARD WORK too!
Rick
Right now this is impossible to accomplish with the gear watch designer. Maybe in a future update, it can be done. But as for now, the options just aren't available without making a whole stand alone program to run on the phone so you can display weather and all the various notifications.

Thank you. A veritable Gold Mine of watch faces. With that being said I searched through all 11 pages and did not find a single watch face that displays the weather or notifications or otherwise on the home face.
Please believe me when I say I am not trying to be argumentative. I am just dying (figuratively) to learn how to incorporate these complications directly on the watch face instead of tapping to open the Weather or notification app. The complications in GWD are really limited.
P.s. For anyone else interested be sure to add the S on the address

Any joy with this yet mate? I've had a look and can't find the Elements Analog available for our Huawei Watch 2 Sport but I did find this:

It's very customisable and looks similar to yours (I'd like to be able to remove the borders of the complications however).
Let me know if you found yours though cos it really is a thing of beauty!

I just bought this, lots of options with it https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=huskydev.android.watchface.blackclassic
Ultimate Watch 2 has lots of settings. I got the premium too within app on phone, $1. It's my top layer face, with others showing under & other apps on and linked around it. I try different faces every day though other than UW2
So, just to be a pain in the arse, has anyone got any idea where I can lay my hands on the below watch face please? Image is taken from Wear OS app and lots of reviews show this face on the Huawei Watch 2 Sport but also the GT.
Has it been pulled on an update maybe?
Anyone?

Has anyone managed to obtain this clock face. as it does seem the newer 4g versions dont have it, although its all over their media. Id like this face too and update on obtaining it would be great.
Can it be installed as a standard clock face by dragging it on the watch disk at all.

I just bought a LEO-DLXX last month and the clock face comes standard. The bottom of the box does say 05/2019, but I'm not sure if that is the manufacture date. Also, there are two ways to install a watch face:
1) Installing through an app, such as WatchMaker, from your phone
2) Manually install via ADB but the watch face has to be an apk file
The watch face you're looking for you can be found on FacePro. You would have to download the watch face on your phone, then install WatchMaker on your phone, and use the app to import the watch face and install it on your watch.
I also made a pull of the stock watch faces stored in /system/priv-app/HwWatchface on my watch. You would install it via ADB with the following command:
Code:
adb install HwWatchface.apk
Please PM me for the file.
Hey guys,
I've recently received my Galaxy Watch 4 and noticed that when using 3rd party watch faces, such as Facer and Mr Time, the interface doesn't pick up all my step count. For instance, I'm currently at 6344 on the official Samsung Health app, but only at 2281 on the faced watch face.
I've made sure to look at all my settings, closed Galaxy Gear app, clear the cache didn't work. Factory reset the phone and the watch, didn't work...
Kinda lost, anybody stumbled into this issue or have an idea on a fix.
Thanks

Simple question: does default Samsung watchface correctly show steps ?
Yes it does...
I'd love to tell that this way you answered yourself. As far as I know GW4 incorporates latest incarnation of Wear OS. This way not only watchfaces but many apps ( Wear OS ready ) does not work properly ( i.e. "Messages"). Even buit in Outlook deos not work for me.
IMHO: There is no other way then their creators make propper adjustments.

Hi my bro, for me Facer working great on my GW4 classic (latest update), no problem at all.
I do not use faces from Facer and Mr Time but I can tell you there are Wear face developers out there that have fully functional faces that work great on the GW4. I use several of Matteo Dini's faces:
play.google.com/store/apps/dev?id=7920922820385858766&hl=en_US&gl=US
Thanks guys. I might be a one off, or not, but steps aren't the same on stock app than on Facer watch face. No biggie. Thanks
Hello,

Is it because his smartphone is a Samsung and my isn't, or am I missing a setting?

I have a Watch 4 and can't answer calls either. Not only that, even when I answer the call on my phone, it doesn't send the audio over to the watch
This is disappointing as even a $10 "smartwatch" can do this ... and my phone is also a Samsung =)
I tried using Javascript commands to route the audio from phone speaker to bluetooth, but my bluetooth connection between the phone and watch only shows the Call profile, not the Media profile
Any ideas or solutions to suggest?
Found another solution, a full fledged Whatsapp for our watches. A guy called Joao modded below Beta to work on watch 4/5. Installation of file via ADB to watch, started WA to welcome screen, set wm density to 75 via Wear Installer app, clicked WA on watch to next screen with a beta info, reset wm density, was able to scroll down to QR code and connect watch WA via Linked Devices function to WA on phone. Works perfectly, almost all functions. Remember when playing around with wm density make a watch backup first.

You should have absolutely no problems to answer phone calls on your watch even if it's just Bluetooth. Have you checked permissions?
Otherwise you should reset your watch and restart it. (just do a complete backup of your watch face, settings and apps on your Samsung account).

Yes. It's on stock A13.
I think that must be why you can answer Whatsapp calls on your Samsung watch. My friend that can answer Whatsapp calls also has a Samsung smartphone whereas I use a OnePlus.
On A13 too
It works only on samsung smartphones, i have a Xiaomi 11 lite 5G NE and my wife have a S20FE, for her it works, for me not, both galaxy Watch 4 BT model.
Is there an updated version to work? This one says expired?
Thanks

There were updates posted in a Telegram chat, but in order to evade expiring betas these are based on you might as well install and sideload the regular app now, found on Whatsapp website under Package Installer link (it is a multi APK with arm7 and arm8 included). Unlike the modded beta the app will be shown in square however, but fully functional, and not expiring.

Hello! do you happen to know where this guy Joao originally released this version you posted and its updates? It's a quite more convenient mod than the regular apk since you don't have to modify dpi in the watch to syncronise with your account. On top of that it was modded to be fully displayed in the watch screen, not like the other versions which are cropped with the rounded screen making elements not completely available. Also he introduced some mod to open the apk from native notifications in watch...
For some reasons it seems to have been discontinued and it is not release into telegram groups etc.
