Moved as not theme release.
anyone else have shadowy lines along the bottom and top half of the screen of their phones? is this normal they dont appear on my nexus 4.

Or can someone explain to me what a shim is, or did i misunderstand what a shim actually is?
This is what i believe it to be that it can intercept data since it acts as a middle man, so i want to know if it's something bad?
Its a system app on my asus rog 1 phone and after google searching i still couldn't find anything about com.asus.shim
