I'm in Australia, and looking at 2 versions of the OP7pro.. A GM1910 with flashed OS, or the GM1913 which i understand is the official international version.
Is there any risk with either? I'm assuming they both have the correct bands and should be no issues.

I bought the GM1910 via ebay, and everything works fine.
It comes with OOS flashed.
As far as I know the Chinese version GM1910 and international versions all have the same bands. American variant is the only one that has different (more) LTE bands. You can switch to OOS from HOS by simply placing OOS update zip to sdcard, going to OTA update menu and run a local upgrade. I got mine(8+256) from the offical Chinese Oneplus website for about an equivalent of 655 USD tax and shipping (China domestic shipping) included.

Got the GM1910 too on Boost/Telstra. OOS 9.5.8 is going awesomely
those with the gm1910, do you have wifi issues with custom kernels and havoc?
GM1917 here, works perfectly. I got it from the US store using Shopmate to forward to Australia.
Google Pay working?
Hey guys, I am planning to buy the OP7 pro GM1910 but got a question. After flashing with OOS all the SafetyNet features are working properly? I mean Google Pay works with no issues? I am worry I will not be able to use Google Pay or even download Netflix as it happens when flashing with Lineage OS or similar, thanks.
1910 here, everything works fine on Optus, including Google pay ect as asked above me.
Oh that sounds great, another quick question. What about the OTA updates, security patches and OS updates are they arriving with no issue? Or do you need to flash it again when a new OS update arrive? I just read that One Plus is actively updating their OS to do some improvements on the 7 Pro

I have GM1910. I want to ask if i can be able to use 3 (UK Sim) with my phone when im in europe? Am i gonna encounter some problems with the band issues connecting to the internet? Thanks
Do the curved edges on the screen become annoying when watching youtube/netflix or do you guys thinks this is a one up compared to the Xiaomi mi 9t pro or the asus zenfone 6?

I've tried the ZenFone 6 and have always ended up back at the OP7 pro, the edges aren't aggressive with the curves, but there there, and definitely not annoying. With a case on it you can easily hold the phone without touching the screen while watching a video ECT. It's good ?

Yes, I've had this with Smurf kernel.
You should flash the wifi fix version or in the Smurf kennel config file, apply wifi fix and then flash the kernel again.

tldr; any chance Sprint's OnePlus 7 Pro variant (GM1925) will get LineageOS support?

Like a freakin' idiot I purchased the GM1925 without thinking (was eyeing the 7 pro for a few months now) - I was lulled by the good price it was going for without first double checking that particular variant was supported by lineageos....so stupid me spent 8 hours unlocking the phone and trying to get lineagos to install....the unlocking worked great (thanks to everyone that contributed to that document!)
Anyway before I try to return this phone or dumping it on ebay- would anyone be able to comment on the likelyhood of this 7 Pro variant will get lineageos support? In the event someone wants to buy the now unlocked bootloader GM1925 from me instead (I'll even preinstall Magisk, etc if you want ) - - feel free to DM me

How come most previous LG flagships are capable of Netflix HDR while the V50 isn't? Or is this something that only my model does not support. I have the SKT variant, with Widevine L1. Not necessarily a dealbreaker for me, just feels like a missed opportunity. I had hoped to have at least HDR10....
Then again I also noticed the V60 wasn't indicated as Netflix HDR compatible on the support page....
Hi, I used to have a rooted note 8 I used to play plex in my car. It has gone missing so I'm looking for a new phone to root. In the guide it said I would lose Netflix and prime playback once the oneplus 8t is rooted. Does that include while using it through Android auto? Also, is the 8t bought from best buy in the US rootable? just want confirmation before I go buy this thing.
What guide are you looking at? They are probably referring to HD playback. Right now some of the unlocked 8Ts lose L1 status and go to L3 which means they can only have SD playback from some video services. Honestly I think it still looks fine? Thats not all 8Ts some are keeping L1 rooted and unlocked, so that is something that will probably be sorted out.
As with most all OnePlus devices, TMobile versions are different and add complications. If Best buy is selling a TMobile version, make sure you look into what is different about TMobile versions as they are not the same, even when flashed to "international" versions. I always prefer buying directly through OnePlus, or at least the unbranded version.
I don't have Amazon, Netflix works fine on all my unlocked / rooted devices. (Remember I don't mind SD playback.)
All the 8Ts are rootable.
if you follow the guides you do not lose access to any apps.
I am rooted, have all the streaming apps working without issue, and car stream.
No probs at all.
just follow the guides.
