Hello. First time posting it here on this forum.
I myself am a person who had worked some time on Android development.
Recently bought the P11, it's a nice hardware. However, the kernel source lenovo provided is outdated, and is for a much older version of the firmware. (Not compatible properly with latest bootloader)
forums(dot)lenovo(dot)com /t5/Lenovo-Android-based-Tablets-and-Phablets/Lenovo-Tab-P11-Wi-Fi-TB-J606F-0906-Kernel-Source/m-p/5104709
This is a post that I had recently written on their forum, complaining about not releasing the kernel source code of the newest firmware. (Including Android 11 firmware and 0906 Android 10 firmware)
I am unable to get any reply from them further. I believe that it would be probably be better if we @ XDA would post about these a lot on the Lenovo forum so that they would recognize the importance and finally release the proper and newest one(s).
Thanks, and if any informations needed please let me know

I'm sorry! It seems like I had wrongly clicked it.
Thanks.
Just wondering why no one has developed the ANCIENT OS ROM? It has crazy UI Customizable options. Just asking.
Where is the tutorial on ROM building 2022 A12?

and the others. Your thread doesn't qualify for a development section. I've moved the thread to Android General.
Additionally, I've removed the two links from your post. First, as an exemption from the last bullet of rule no. 5 of the XDA Forum Rules, we grant only developers the privilege to share references to their social media in their own development threads and if thorough support is provided in the thread. These conditions obviously don't apply to this thread. Additional information is also available here:
WhatsApp / Telegram Chat Channels - Way Forward
Why was your Telegram/WhatsApp group/channel thread closed? Well, it's just becoming too much. Going forward, we will only allow only one Telegram/WhatsApp link in a development thread by the ROM developer provided thorough support is still...
forum.xda-developers.com
Please refrain from sharing social media links in future unless done in your own development thread.
The second link has been deleted based on the 3rd bullet of rule no. 11 of the XDA Forum Rules: "Encouraging members to participate in forum activities on other phone related sites is prohibited."
Thanks for your cooperation.

MOD ACTION:
Thread closed since the OP has removed the contents of the first post.
I keep seeing it on every rom thread but yet to find out what it means.

The Original Poster (also abbreviated as OP) of a ROM thread very often additionally creates posts no. 2 and/or no. 3 immediately after he created his ROM thread i.e. after the creation of the thread's first post (that is also known as the Opening Post, which is also abbreviated as OP).
If the OP hasn't yet a content for the posts #2 or #3, then he enters "reserved" meaning these posts are reserved for his future use that e.g. could be to add changelogs in post #2 if new versions of a ROM are released.
I hope I was able to sufficiently answer you're question.
By the way, a remark: We only allow developers to reserve posts in their own development thread, and nobody else. This means if you pass by "reserved posts" that don't comply with this condition, please report such a post via the report function. Thanks for your cooperation.

I had used one of the recommended official roms to revert from pixelexperience back to oxygenOS, but somewhere along the line, my boot/recovery images were destroyed and now I am unable to fix it at all. I have a gm1911 model, and am currently unable to see my phone in the adb devices list, but can use fastboot. I do not have any recovery apps installed, and have at this point tried multiple different tutorials, none of which helped. would HIGHLY appreciate any help given. I created an account on here specifically for this so I am unsure if this post is in the right place, please let me know if it isn't.
