Question Refurbished S22 ultra - Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Does anyone else get this when doing a refurbishment check with Samsung Phone Information app?

There are several ways to tell.

How did you do that check? The dialer method ##786## was taken offline a long time ago I think.

You're welcome.
The s/n method is accurate for my N10+... interesting. Check the box s/n vs phone as well.

Code "emp_disc" is exactly you received? I've got discount also, but with little different code. I'm wondering if this is for one use or more.

Does the S5 charge properly with a Micro USB instead of the 3.0 cable that came with it? Never really thought to try it.

Yes, I'm under warranty but I've bought the phone from China and I'm from Italy, only the ship cost will be more than the repair.
There's no place to repair a china phone here, nobody even known the phone
But it's a problem that has a lot of OPO and the manufacturer said that, they're good enough and, even N% has yellow screens...
But I'm really not happy with this phone, not only for the yellow line.
There is no way to fix it, with usage and time it gets slightly better. 99% of phones have this, so you should not have bought the phone, if you think this is a deal breaker.

I didn't know that this kind of phone has this kind of screen. Obviously I never bought a phone with this defect.
I really never bought a phone even if I had known the state of Cyano 11s.
But it'd definitely my fault.
Thanks for the answers.
There's an entire thread dedicated to this. Try using a UV lamp (found at a nail salon) for ten minutes with the device turned off.

[Q] SPO2 sensor and S-health

First let me state that yes I know this was slightly touched on over here http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6-edge/help/spo2-sensor-t3096690
This is from the S6 edge forum so I prefer not to post there as these are two different devices as per se.
Has any one been able to use the SPO2 sensor on the S6 and if so what region FW are you using?
Thanks in advance

Works great here. SM-920F, G920FXXU1AOCW, Sweden.
I've used it successfully on my UK EE branded firmware since the day I got it. Quite a snazzy idea. Quite like checking my heart rate and stress with it too.

It could be that items such as SPO2 meters are regulated as medical devices and require a prescription in your country, so Samsung disables it.

It is region specific.
I flashed German 1&1 firmware and everything is working 100 % including SpO2 stress.
a few other things also started to work like my smart lock.
I guess they break things just enough to frustrate the user but keep the device working. sad indeed.

Simple solution, not the best but it works. Flash a country firmware that supports it. there are a few issues with flashing firmwares but there are workarounds, just search the forum. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/general/stock-firmware-official-stock-firmware-t3086387/page7

If there's one thing I can say about this phone, it's easily that it has the best cell reception of any recent device bar none. Seriously, I'm a good 10+dBm stronger than my prior devices: Pixel XL, Axon 7, and more..

For sure. The only thing really bugging me right now is Huawei's lockscreen. I don't have lock screen controls for any of my music apps and actionable notifications are super finicky. I'd be super happy with it if those things were addressed.

If there is, it's really hiding from me. My gf has them on her Honor 8 with the Nougat beta so I'm not sure if I keep overlooking a setting or it's screwy on the Mate right now.

Could you let me know the full build number of the firmware on the phone?
From settings -> about phone
For example, maybe it's MHA-L29CXXXBXXX
I was on vacation in America a week ago with a T-Mobile SIM, with the Mate 9 branded to Asia C636 and Europe C432, but neither did VoLTE, so I guess it's a unique feature of the American firmware.
If you're interested in helping to bring the American model's firmware to other people and helping out the community, please get in touch with me by PM, as there are many tests I want to run with your model.

That's a relief. If they've acknowledged it then it's on their radar. I just noticed Pandora's controls showed up but disappeared so I guess it's a bug.

WIFI kickers that work?

One of the first things I installed on my Magisk-rooted OP7 is a program to kick greedy users off the wifi temporarily (Pixel Netcut), but it threw me into a boot loop.
On the next round, I installed Arcai Netcut. It works, but the $12 per year seems a bit steep, I don't expect to use it that often, only when sharing space with someone who's being a pig. A nice feature is that you don't have to kick them out, you can reduce their speed to, say, 30%.
Would some of you know of other apps that serve that purpose and are stable on Magisk-rooted OP7?
Thanks!!!!
is $12/yr and you bought a op7 pro? like cmon

Ha, I never said that I personally bought that phone… Otherwise, I could see your point!
And value-wise, I do spend $12 a year for Reverso, but I use that every day… When I contrast that to a program I might use a couple times a year, it seems steep (for my needs).

Had your problem a while ago, but in my research dsploit never worked correctly. You may try but the only working solution was netcut, because after a certain Android version every other app became obsolete.
