Question Any way to stop gallery app suggestions? - Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Can't find setting to disable it. Anyone know if there is a package spesific for that function so I can disable it?

1) tell your brain to miss that icon ( work for me )
2) close your eyes and click any icons ( u can get it after 20 attempts )
3) install OnePlus Gallery ( almost the same as Samsung Gallery )

Why do you want to disable this function? It's good functionality to enhance the picture's quality....

You can use same function for photos manually. I don't need it.

Any hidden call recorder

I was wondering is there any Call recorder..That would not leave any icon and could record all calls (made/received) ?
without letting the user know

That is the point I dont want it to have such an obvious name.
I wish the name could be changed.
It should preferrably have no icon

It's pretty simple to take a working thing you want and make it like this. A project would be the app in its entirety...something like this is just a tweak.
Look into other apps that hide icons and such for examples.

Open app drawer > menu > Hide Applications

Does Samsung Galaxy Note (gingerbread) default launcher have this option?
hiding works great. but it will still show up in play store or worse case as an update notification.
Well you can avoid that by unattaching it from the market. I know apps like Titanium can do this.
Some roms have this functionality built into them.

no, has to be rooted
For those who are rooted and have unlocked the bootloader, I know when I was running SynergyRom R73 nightly, there was a button in the upper right when I was in a call that allowed me to record. I believe the button was labelled "Record" and then it would get saved to the Samsung stock ROM voice recording app for the audio recordings. I'm on Liquidsmooth right now and am missing that feature dearly. Made me feel like a superspy or something

There is a hidden recorder of calls https://blog.ikeymonitor.com/call-recorder.html but why do you want it to be hidden? do you want to spy on someone?

I would recommend MobileRecorder24 (see MobileRecorder24.com). It does exactly what you want - records all calls, sms and audio surrondings in stealth regime and stores them online. Also it can hide its icon.

App to disable multi window and multi app

For some reason Samsung didn't include a way to disable the multi app and multi window. If there is a way that I haven't found I'll delete this post.

Worked great for me - thank you. S7 Edge.
Can anyone tell me why you would want to disable it? Does it help with Battery Life somehow? Pros/Cons?

Mostly so if you don't use it it doesn't get in the way.
I leave it on incase I want to use it, but I get annoyed when I accidently trigger multi minnow with a long press of the multitasking button or windowed mode when swiping down.

Its probably the TalkBack feature for the blind. It helps them navigate by touch and tells them what they're touching and asks whether that's what they want to select.

EMUI taking control of closing apps

Hey guys,
So just like the title says emui is closing apps especially audio related apps even though I've told to exempt those apps from battery optimization.
The apps specifically are:
Pandora
SoundCloud
Pocket Cast
I have factory reset the phone just to make sure I haven't done anything weird while exempting those application. They still get closed when I lock the screen.
Another thing to note, when the app closes it might sometimes (especially Pandora) relaunch itself and be fine with the screen off. Other times I have to go back in restart the app and then on screen lock it might work but there's no guarantees.
Just wondering if any of y'all have had this issue before and how did y'all go around fixing it.
I had also issue when I hearing songs in saavn app.
go to phone manager , there swipe left you will find lock screen cleanup there choose the app which you want to run even the screen is off:good:

If I understand your question correctly you can only hide apps if you use the Standard Homescreen, not the Drawer version.
Following this you only need to put two fingers on the homescreen and pull them apart. If it doesn't work (like it did for me) try this app.
