in the firmware "one ui" there is a function in the bluetooth "multimedia" so the reason is that if the Samsung device has the fifth version of the bluetooth, then you can connect 2 pairs of headphones or speakers at the same time. I wanted to know if there is such a firmware for my poco, because in the stock firmware it is impossible to pair 2 devices at the same time!
nope, i didn't see nor tried pairing with 2 device. It only pairs 1.

Is there a good way to turn the phone into a smartwatch? Or is this too silly?
It's too silly.... :good:
Not if you have really big wrists
My wrist is big enough so it would not be absurd, silly yes, but not absurd. I'm more asking how one would turn the phone into a smartwatch

I have been trying to, been trying to find an app that keeps daydream on all the time. I have been failing though:crying::crying::crying::crying:
First let me state that yes I know this was slightly touched on over here http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6-edge/help/spo2-sensor-t3096690
This is from the S6 edge forum so I prefer not to post there as these are two different devices as per se.
Has any one been able to use the SPO2 sensor on the S6 and if so what region FW are you using?
Thanks in advance

Works great here. SM-920F, G920FXXU1AOCW, Sweden.
I've used it successfully on my UK EE branded firmware since the day I got it. Quite a snazzy idea. Quite like checking my heart rate and stress with it too.

i quickly looked on the net and it seems to me it must be region specific...well i hope i get it too
It could be that items such as SPO2 meters are regulated as medical devices and require a prescription in your country, so Samsung disables it.

It is region specific.
I flashed German 1&1 firmware and everything is working 100 % including SpO2 stress.
a few other things also started to work like my smart lock.
I guess they break things just enough to frustrate the user but keep the device working. sad indeed.

Simple solution, not the best but it works. Flash a country firmware that supports it. there are a few issues with flashing firmwares but there are workarounds, just search the forum. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/general/stock-firmware-official-stock-firmware-t3086387/page7

Thanks. Speaking of which, is there another ROM available for my j727vl (sky pro) one? This sub forum is a little unorganized. Maybe the question is has this phone been rooted? (?). Technically I don't know so much how these things work, but I know if I can get this thing rooted I can possibly get wifi hotspot working on it which would be super fantastic. Might you know? Thanks

Thank you. Will do.
One of the first things I installed on my Magisk-rooted OP7 is a program to kick greedy users off the wifi temporarily (Pixel Netcut), but it threw me into a boot loop.
On the next round, I installed Arcai Netcut. It works, but the $12 per year seems a bit steep, I don't expect to use it that often, only when sharing space with someone who's being a pig. A nice feature is that you don't have to kick them out, you can reduce their speed to, say, 30%.
Would some of you know of other apps that serve that purpose and are stable on Magisk-rooted OP7?
Thanks!!!!
is $12/yr and you bought a op7 pro? like cmon

Ha, I never said that I personally bought that phone… Otherwise, I could see your point!
And value-wise, I do spend $12 a year for Reverso, but I use that every day… When I contrast that to a program I might use a couple times a year, it seems steep (for my needs).

Had your problem a while ago, but in my research dsploit never worked correctly. You may try but the only working solution was netcut, because after a certain Android version every other app became obsolete.
