I believe I do. I downloaded the firmware from lg-firmwares and the list it brought up all was for the CAN(Canada I assume?) region. But when I looked online at the official LG website the LM-G900UM2 is the Canadian model and the LM-G900UM1 is the American model I'm pretty sure. But I CANNOT find ANYWHERE a firmware that is specifically for the United States. Also, just for the hell of it, I even tried a program called SALT on the Linux Debian OS and here is some more interesting info I found about the phone...if it'll help at all.

Yeah for the most part, AT&T doesn't allow their firmware to be listed publicly anywhere - for any of their devices. So while the Canadian model may have the same base model number, I don't know if it will let you flash Canadian firmware to an AT&T device

So is there ANY luck at all of being able to do anything to finally FRP bypass the LG Velvet G900UM? I've searched high and low but can't seem to come up with anything. =(

Can you elaborate how or give me any info on a method I could try to successfully FRP bypass this phone then? You just don't know how much I would appreciate it. lol. I've tried and tried with so many different kdz's (of course for the G900UM) but to no avail. Also tried a couple different methods to bypass frp but, of course, no luck. Only reason trying to flash new firmware is to downgrade to Android 10 to bypass FRP. So... ultimate goal: FRP Bypass this phone! lol

Bump. Any news on this front I keep getting can't flash error na1_u=na6_us not allowed.

About those ULM models on ebay...

There's been a lot of new users picking up cheap G7 ThinQ G710ULM (US Unlocked) versions on ebay lately, then getting frustrated when they find out it a hacked Sprint version (G710pm).
I'm finding posts from new users on different corners of the internet, Telegram groups, Reddit, etc, usually saying that they can't upgrade from Oreo and their device is missing a serial number, and the IMEI is actually from the Sprint pm version. I couldn't find a lot of info in one place about these handsets, so I'm starting this thread to discuss them. There's a good chance any ULM on ebay for a good price is one of these. I bought 3 of them for different people from different sellers, and this was the case on all of them. I almost returned them all and gave up until I did some research and found out THIS ISN'T NECESSARILY A BAD THING!
In fact, it may actually be beneficial compared to the real ULM version in some ways. First of all, it WILL work with T-mobile USA just fine. The bands all seem to work, it even supports WiFi calling and VOLTE, and there's a chance even B71 will work (although this isn't 100% verified, it shows up as an available band to test in the service menu). The real ULM supposedly skips this band. Some people even say the real ULM version is also missing bands for AT&T, but the PM crossflashed version seems to connect to them (this might be an isolated incident or fluke, but at least one redditor claims this was his experience). I'm still not clear on how the unlocked official US version can be missing AT&T bands, so I'd love for other people to maybe chime in here with their experiences.
Yes, you can update to Pie. The OTA updates won't work, likely because of the missing serial number. On that note, I'd LOVE to find out why that is. Can anyone explain why these crossflashed devices are missing the SN? Does that happen on other crossflashed devices?
Either way, follow this guide here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg...how-to-install-pie-stock-treble-aosp-t3914079
Note, this guide was written for flashing a European variant, but the same steps apply. Just choose a kdz for the ULM variant from here: https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-lmg710ulm-firmwares/#tab=firmwares
^ I recommend the latest Google Fi firmware version, which is G710ULM20e_00_NAO_US_OP_1010.kdz , from 2019-11-14
There is a more recent version from BPT, but it is unclear what that firmware is for. BPT seems to be some sort of regional carrier, so you are better off with the regular USA or Fi version.
Also note, you may need to use 7zip to extract the dll file from that guide. That took me a while to figure out, as Windows explorer throws an error with it. Once you finish, your phone will reboot with a shiny new (relatively) up to date Pie firmware!
There. You now saved yourself a few bucks and got a solid phone. Feel free to share your experiences with the handset here.

The devices lose the s/n and possibly imei because people are flashing using lgup 1.14 dev version which causes issues with nvdata.
Lgup 1.15 fixes this when you go back to oreo then update to pie.
Also crossflashed devices do not get ota because lgup marks these devices as crossflashed in nvdata using a 0x01 value for certified_device

Wow, that's some good info right there, thank you for sharing!
Hmm- messing with nvdata though? So you're saying the SN missing is some sort of accident or goof? That doesn't sound so cool. Should I be concerned anything else is messed up? There's a ton of these in the wild now and it seems the SN is the only weird side effect that has been noticed.
As far as I know the IMEI is fine (looking it up reveals it is a PM imei, which is correct, and it does work with voice over Wifi and VOLTE, which I think wouldn't work if the IMEI was messed up). In fact, it's interesting because when that screen loads in Settings>About, etc, it shows "checking" under S/N, then checking goes away and it comes back blank. None of the other fields seem to need any sort of checking first. There's something fishy about how the S/N is stored that it has to check it first and then error out.

Hmm. It came with Oreo, and I used 1.15 to flash to Pie. So you're saying I should flash another Oreo kdz with my LGUP and it will magically fix any corrupt NVdata?

Oh, that is unfortunate. And that value stays with it forever, even if you go back to it's native firmware? I'm assuming that value can't be manipulated with any of the tools we have available.
Thank you so much for sharing this knowledge. Any insight on how the bands work? Is that from nvdata as well, and completely independent of firmware? So essentially, I have whatever band support a G710pm has? Or perhaps was it manipulated by the seller/refurbisher, who possibly used some nvram voodoo tricks which killed the S/N as a result?
Even tho the s/n is blank and at time if you try to show the imei it might also be blank, it is still stored internally and not lost forever.
There is multiple oreo's which for ulm is 10g and 11g, but i would have said flash to the original firmware but you cannot as sprint kdz is not available and the people who have an Original firmware still on device cannot or will not back it up for us.
The value for certified device returns to normal when flashed to the original firmware as lgup has an internal database used for identifying models.
As far as the basebands, all g7 thinq's come with the same bands no matter the firmware or region. The difference is the kdz gives band priority to the ones prefered by the carrier.
All of that can be changed by getting into the lg data secret menu or the dialer code menu
Remember now bootloader and root for the LG g7 is just the beginning. You talk about nvdata you might as well throw out EFS backup as well.
The point is that TWRP creates faulty EFS backups on many devices which can't be restored properly. For our devices TWRP is barely universal. People selling crossflashed phones know this which is why they sell them.
I prefer the manual backup using adb shell you can do it with terminal emulator as well.
Qfil is very powerful for Qualcomm devices and we'll figure out how to make back ups of all partitions that involve serial numbers and IMEI ( nvdata and efs).
Just wait you'll see.

I don't understand. What does twrp have to do with any of this? My bootloader is locked and the stock recovery is still there. The devices are likely just flashed with LGup as is, and that doesn't seem to have effected much outside of a missing SN.
Are you saying that my cross flashed phone would effect things if I tried to root somehow? Or am I missing the point here?

Using TWRP to create a backup of efs. Sometimes the restore is faulty.
EFS partition holds up the unique IMEI number of the device, also other identifying numbers like MAC address, MEID, and ESN are stored up in this partition.
Check you IMEI with this.

To get your sn.
Oh ok.
So I don't actually need to know my SN but I'd like it to not be blank if flashing back to a previous version would restore it... Especially if there are possibly other parts of nvram that may be corrupt that I'm unaware of?
Thanks for the info. The one I got said it can't work on Sprint or Verizon networks, and is missing the serial #, as you said.
I got just one from bay with S/N missing and software version G710ULM10g. Latest patch level Sep 1, 2018 (Android 8.0.0). Is there any way to install Android 10 based ROM?
Assuming that after following the steps (Part 1 only) (hope we can skip part 2?) to somehow install G710ULM20e_00_NAO_US_OP_1010 (Android 9), is there a way to follow similar steps after part-1 to update it to Android 10 based ROM?
It would be great if someone can help to install Android 10 directly from Android 8.0 (without the need to installing Android 9). I am not sure if its even possible to get Android 10 on such bay unlocked devices without S/N.

If you must know the serial number there is a one site that you enter imei and it'll tell you what it is. Just gotta search on Google.
Serial number is lost when bootloader is unlocked. You can regain it if you relock and go back to stock. Not sure what version of g7 you have. More likely it's probably crossflashed and sold like that so there won't be a kdz to go back to stock.
Android 10 has a thread they tell you what kdz to crossflash too and how to update to android 10 with the activity launcher app.
I just got a 710pm off ebay. I unlocked the bootloader, crossflashed to ulm pie, and rooted. It works just fine. [emoji106]

Here's the crossflashing thread using command line lgup.
Thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g7-thinq/how-to/cross-flash-oreo-pie-firmwares-lg-g7-g7-t3915303
There's another lgup dualmode you can use the partion dl option to install the Korean kdz that Android 10 uses. Search for that.
To install the Android 10 LGUP_FOTA.up update which you use activity launcher to install.

Thanks. My phone (G710PM) is cross-flashed with G710ULM firmware Android 8. Please suggest is below plan will work?
1) First update existing firmware to stock Android 9.0 i.e. G710ULM20e_00_NAO_US_OP_1010 using these steps.
2) Then install Lineage OS 17.1 (based on Android 10) because it needs stock Android 9.0 as a pre-requisite using these steps.

Yes it will work.
I'd also like to add that Google Pay will not work, at retail brick and mortar stores.
A pop up says device may be rooted or modified.
I have magisk installed and it seems to trick Schwab banking app.
Edit:
Edit: I followed the instruction from the following video, and was able to get GPay to accept the card. Also Gpay needs to be manually hidden in magisk, be sure to select 'display system apps' to find it.

If you're on Pie, I doubt you have one of these Sprint phones. Check if you pass SafetyNet and if so, you have a native ULM model. Most G7 variants receive very few updates (including the ULM).

LM-G900 AT&T Removal

I've been trying to flash my G900 (AT&T version), So far I've tried LGUP, LGUP Dev and The official LG flashing tool, My main goal here is to at least remove AT&T from the device as it's throwing me errors when I try to update from Android 10 to Android 11. Any suggestions? I've searched around and there doesn't seem to be much about thus specific device.

Well basically I'm trying to crossflash the device with a clean firmware/OS
I have confirmed numerous times it should work fine, as the devices are identical; only distinction is firmware.
I have used all the LG flashing tools I can find, They all see, connect and flash, only to fail with an error, that's either blank or changes every time.

So which firmware are you trying to flash, exactly?
I have tried anyway with LGUP. A bug for protection does not allow anything. I want to upgrade to 11. Nothing at all. The dll I extract it from the Firmware and neither. Firmware from Lg-firmwares.com for this AT&T Velvet 5G.

I understand what they say about bootloader unlocking. It is true the majority, the vast majority do not need it. But this AT&T device has made my life impossible to do so. I also can't find a way to unlock bootloader.
Please, someone who can give me a good tip, of what I have to do. On the other hand, can someone explain to me how to extract the KDZ from my own phone. I'm not talking about downloading a KDZ but about making a backup of the device itself. As you know, the bootloader is not unlocked and I would need a tool that allows it without having to root it.

HELP ROOT MOTO ONE 5g ACE (XT2113-2) Android 10 from T-Mobile

Hello: I'm using the guide clintongsan made to root a usa moto one 5g ace android 10 purchased in april 2022 from a T-mobile store here in the south on the east side of the mississippi river.
My build number is QZKS30.Q4-40-95-9 The last build number on this link
( https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/kiev/official/TMO/ ) is QZKS30.Q4-40-95-6 with a
date of 02/11/2022. Will that work for me since I have 95-9 and that one is 95-6 There is a grayed out statement that there are 68 more subfolders but I don't know how to access it to see if my build is there. Also on the Motorola website for unlocking the bootloader, Get your device ID, there are examples for compacting the lines of code into a long string. The examples are for Windows and Mac. I'm using a Linux laptop and no example exists. The Moto site gives a link to download SDK tools. Is there a site where I can download the minimum tools required? Probably more questions to follow for sure. Thank you

Honestly I've been trying to figure out the best way to go about this as well. My fiance is interested in having her phone rooted. I'm just trying to figure a well to where i can just access the boot image off the phone somehow so i can patch it using magisk. well obviously backing up the original image first, but i've heard twrp doesn't work and i tried using QFIL to see if i can access it but i don't think it has EDL. If you figured out a way to do it without flashing a older update to the phone. Please let me know. I'll do the same after I look into it a bit more. I feel like i'm just over complicating somehow lol I have a tendency of doing that.

I'm using a Linux laptop and no example exists. The Moto site gives a link to download SDK tools. Is there a site where I can download the minimum tools required? Probably more questions to follow for sure. Thank you

On Build number 95-9? Or a previous version? I'm asking because I couldn't even get the bootloader unlocked on a 95-9 phone (unlock "failed" after getting the code from Moto). I'm still trying to get an answer as to whether if the newest OTA is a problem.

As for 40-95-9 firmware, a sure way to get that firmware is Moto/Lenovo's "Rescue and Smart Assistant", aka "LMSA" (search, should be easy to find). Use the Rescue option and stop (EDIT/ADD: let the download finish), go to the folder where it was downloaded (make sure to get the download link shown in the utility) and find the firmware in the ".../ROMfiles" subfolder I think it is. That's the full firmware including boot.img. I used that subfolder to reflash the entire 95-9 firmware. EDIT/ADD: But this assumes Rescue and Smart Assistant on Windows, NOT Linux. I don't know if there is a Linux version for that, sorry. {--Or do you have a Windows emulator in your Linux that might solve this particular issue?--)
I DO NOT KNOW -- yet -- if 95-9 is rootable or even unlockable. Unlock failed for me on a 95-9 phone . . . although I did get an Unlock Code from Moto (on a Windows PC).
So this is a question back at you: HAVE YOU MANAGED TO UNLOCK THE BOOTLOADER on your 95-9 phone?

Yeah it was on 95-9, just make sure to read through the thread cause I kind of messed up in the process but once you flash twrp and boot into it, flash the kiev file and magisk. I had to keep reading. I flashed to both partition a and b.

I should've been more specific with my question, sorry. . . . Did you actually unlock your bootloader on 95-9, or was it unlocked prior to that OTA and then you ran the root process on 95-9?
@vansteering , I don't mean to hijack your thread.

Need help to find out which phone is this and its stock rom (or at least a custom rom)

I've been looking for a way to "fix" this phone for almost 1 week now. I've disassembled it and managed to note an alphanumeric sequence on its motherboard which I believe is its model.
First things first: this phone's touch screen is not working, but I've checked the motherboard and it seems just fine, which led me to believe there's a problem with the firmware, then I've checked the firmware using recovery mode and it seemed odd, it seemed like the phone isn't using its original firmware.
Here's the info that I found using recovery mode:
SW Ver.
alps-mp-m0.mp1-V2.39 _magc6580.we.c.m_P32
Custom Build Veno. :
V207IF3_QHD1200_M_V1.0_2_16_20200808_1758_V1.0.5_B125_HUAX_V50C3_WELCOME_S20_PLUS_PRO_DS
I'm attaching pictures too.
This phone was handed to me, so I have no reference at all. I've searched everywhere I could online and I couldn't find this model for sale, I couldn't even find a phone that looks exactly like this, but some were pretty close, like the Huawei P40 and the S20+ Pro clone, but after searching for that alphanumeric sequence, which I believe it's the actual model number, I've come across the WOLKI WS680, but I couldn't find its firmware for downloading.
FLASHING A FLASHY PHONE
I've downloaded and tried to flash the ROM MT6580__MFT__I7__I7__6.0__alps-mp-m0.mp1-V2.39_magc6580.we.c.m_P21, which seems to be the same that was in the phone, but the phone didn't turn on anymore after this (I believe it bricked). I didn't take backup before doing this, please don't blame me, It's been many years since I've done this kind of thing on a Chinese phone.
Any other rom that I tried just throws a DRAM error in SP Flash Tools, I'm also not able to format the phone (it also throws an error).
The error:
ERROR : S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (4032)
WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR:1 - I need to find the right ROM firmware for this phone, please somebody give me a download link. A custom rom would be good too.
2 - I need to know which exactly is this phone's brand and model (because I need to know its hardware specs).
Please help me find at least the firmware.
Anyone?
Maybe it's the

got the firmware with scatter file?
Just as it says on the sticker, this phone is a Leioa Vapio summlux h1. It looks like some kind of Chinese clone or something.
Cool, but how can I find its firmware? The phone here is bricked.

I don't know and that's the problem with exotic phones. Good luck with that.
This kind of copied / rebranded phones can also be found outside of China. So, whenever you buy a smartphone be sure to reach an authorized seller or take a closer look at the phone’s aspects.
My recommendation: Ask phone's seller for help.
"This phone was handed to me, so I have no reference at all."
There's nothing I can do about talking to a seller. I'm here just asking for a rom that might work with this mediatek, it doesn't mean that it needs to be the Stock ROM.
Can anyone tell me a workaround for this? it doesn't need to be the stock rom.
these fake phones are low end trash devices running android 6 no LTE. you bricked working ROM for no reason so what?

You really want to know why I'm still insisting in this phone? It's a pride thing. Some douche needs to see this working. That's why. After I "fix" this, I'll take some photos of it, send them to the person and then I'll just get rid of it.
What's the password for MT6580__Q_MOBILE__V15_PRO__V15_PRO__6.0__ALPS-MP-M0.MP1-V2.39_MAGC6580.WE.C.M_P30.RAR? I'm not finding it in the list.

Frp locked lg velvet android 12

Hi I have a lg velvet phone that's frp locked is there a way to bypass it with out a computer and can I use a sd card to bypass it or even to down grade it from android 12 to android 10
No one replied yet? That's my issue also. I do have a computer. I think to downgrade it you need to pay for the software. But haven't gotten any real solution yet

You can downgrade it with an older dll from LGUP.Try this one!
It's crazy no one replied to doug for like 2 months. Have you tried downgrading and it worked?

I highly doubt downgrading will remove the FRP lock. There is 3 different versions of the Velvet. You have a 4g model which was never released in the states. The 5g devices have 2 different chipsets.AT&T/Verizon use the Snapdragon 765g which there isn't a firehose and the other is T-Mobile's MediaTek version. The MediaTek variant may be a little easier.I would personally try downgrading to A11 and see if it removes it.I don't think so,but worth a shot.I have seen some use Chimera Tool, and just reflash the firmware and it removes it for you. Most definitely you'll need a PC either way.You can search on Youtube and try some of those "so called" methods without a PC,but most I have seen are b.s. to begin with.Click bait!
