Guys may I know which version u have? This is the first time I'm going to try op phone so I don't want to make any unnecessary mistake.
Is there any difference between the two in terms of custom rom and rooting availability(such as samsung's exynos is easier to get custom rom and root than other version) ? Or any custom rom will fit to either version?
BTW I'm living in Indonesia, do both will work just fine on my country or do I need a specific version in order to use it here?
Thanks people.
need the answer too, some people said using A6000 outside india or china the 4g network may not working.

I have a6003 here in the u.s..
I have A6003 here in the UK
6003 here in Australia - this is the official International version.. There is a 6000 version going around, which seems to be India based - but is being sold as a "flashed OS" version and sold internationally. I would highly suggest getting the 6003 - it seems the most compatible
6003 is for europe/us.
6000 is for chinese/india.
The difference is just the supported bands (6003 supports much more) and the rom, the rom can be replaced easily.
6003 for US/EU/GLOBAL
6000 is for China/India (no play services, few bands missing etc)
this information was received from oneplus directly.

Dual sim for global version possible?

Hi guys !
Is it possible to convert the global version to a dual sim if you get like the dual sim tray from the chinese version and put it inside the global phone and work with both sims?
Or you need other things like a custom rom that enables the 2nd sim? I find it very curious why they opted for the single sim tray for the global version considering that i don't think they did any modification under the hood of the phone.
For me it's horrible going from a dual sim phone to a single sim considering that most of the people have one personal sim and one for work

It would be very interesting if someone managed to try the chinese version's sim tray because it looks like the hw is all there
I wonder if it could be this easy tho
Someone one the Mi 10 forum just tried and didn't work, at least with the global ROM. Maybe with the xiaomi.eu ROM......
check the global version from hong kong which seems to have enabled dual sim but check if the network bands are compatible in your country.

It's Global version with DUAL SIM.
You're welcome
What do you mean Global Version dual sim?
With the Hong Kong Mi10 Pro, if i slot the 2nd sim in, will the phone really become dual sim?

if you're talking about gearbest, they are only selling single sim global version.
Why not buying Chinese version and flash xiaomi.eu rom
if buying a china phone and flash it with Europe rom, will the phone be dual sim?
Yes but you won't have all of the 4g bands needed for Europe

because flashing rom will disable your banking apps.
If flash it will Europe ROM, will the phone need to be rooted? i worry after flashing, i wont pass Android Safetynet Test... thus cannot use Google Pay.

no need to root but you have to settle with unlocked bootloader
An Stupid move from Xiaomi, not just sell the Global version with higher price, but to release it with one sim slot! After 8 year with Xiaomi, I'm moving to ONEPLUS 8 Pro. I'm so upset because of that, have to sell my others Xiaomi gadgets! But i will do that because they proved so many times that don't care about customers opinion! China, the b a s t a r ds that spread a virus and earn money from it !

I flashed xiaomi.eu to my mi note 10 and before it mi 9 pro 5g which was China exclusive
I had no problems with banking apps not Netflix for example
Did u have any experience with any mi device that broke ur banking applications?

There wont be any problems because his post was false. You keep your safetynet status and widevine L1 if you flash the eu rom. Everything is working.
Also, to finally answer the question: Someone on the german forum "android-hilfe" flashed the EU Rom on his Global mi 10 pro, and automatically got 2 IMEI numbers assigned. It looks like everyone should be able to just flash the eu rom and use the dual sim feature, even if you have the global variant.

I stand corrected.. My worry is if I have an unlocked bootloader, some function will not work like safetynet, etc.. I don't really care about root anymore, I just don't wanna break anything om the phone. By the way, great to learn that CN version can be flashed with eu rom without a problem. same goes for global version to enable dual sim.

Everything works with unlocked bootloader, obviously I don't try you're banking app, gpay working fine on EU, so basically someone needs to buy a dual SIM tray and see if it works? I'm on Chinese version
I'm waiting for the double tray to arrive and I'll try the European rum. If it does not work, I will flash Xiaomi.eu rom. I have this setting in my Mi10 with stock rom. This is single sim version.

Mi 10 Pro with Global Rom installed

Hey peeps. I was talking to a Rep at Giztop because I'm interested in the Mi 10 Pro. Due to the obvious price differences between the official Global version and China version I've been looking more towards the Chinese version. Anyways..
The Rep told me they will install the Official Global Rom onto the device before shipment.
Question :
A) Are there any risks to this?
B) Has anyone had experience with Giztop to confirm that they use the Official Global Rom? And not some baked up version
C) Is this site in anyway accurate? According to it the Chinese version supports way more bands in Canada then the global version
Since I'm a new user I can't post the link without the edits.

Is it possible to flash Eu or global rom on an Indian variant op9?

Hello there. I've been searching for this answer everywhere but can't find anything. Some says EU or Global rom cross flashing is possible but I've heard from a few people that OnePlus 9 indian variant doesn't allow to flash eu or global rom, if you flash the phone might get bricked hardly (that why I've doubt)
Is there any indian variant user who've flashed eu or the global rom on op9? Asking it cz unlike the international version, op9 indian doesn't comes with wireless charging. People saying this is the entire reason not to flash eu rom on an Indian variant.
Even if you do, there is a chance GSM is not the same and you will have problems with SIM card.

Question Some questions about ROM (OP 9)

I have bought OP 9 and I have some questions and need our community to help
1. Every OP 9 has a model name (LE21xx) can use all custom rom here?
2. If my model has Single-SIM Function (like my T-mobile OP 9) could have a chance to get Dual-SIM when moving to custom ROM?

What firmware are you on? You can use any custom rom,the device names is to do with region's so nothing to do with the ROM itself.. if you're on T-Mobile I'd suggest carrier unlocking it by getting the provider to do that or you can do it yourself with a bit of research over here on the forums
