Question Anyone received their $250 Samsung credit? - Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

I pre ordered 2 S22 Ultras on the 1st day they became available for pre order. I chose not to spend the $250 Samsung credits during the orders because most everything was out of stock and the website was having so many issues that I just wanted to get my pre orders in before they wasn't available. It stated if I didn't use the credits at that moment, I would receive the $250 credits via email after delivery of the phones. Well it's been 17 days since we've had our new phones. I'm gonna try and contact Samsung today to see what's going on because I wanna order me some accessories since most are back in stock. Just curious if anyone else that didn't use their credit immediately has received their promo code via email? Thanks in advance!
BTW Loving my Green S22 Ultra 512GB

I was wondering the exact same thing since I have heard nothing from Samsung yet on that.

Nothing here, still waiting, Samsung page says scheduled

I chatted with Samsung support yesterday, and they told me it comes between 14 and 30 days even though the invoice only says 14 days.

Wow 30 days? Yeah the invoice definitely said 14 days

I just chatted with a Samsung rep. He said I will get my code on March 25th. He said they wait until the return window closes then the system sends it out automatically.

sharing: freaky blast from the past

wayyy back in 1999 i had a nokia 8850 mobile phone. in 2001, while living in hong kong i sold it as the screen was dead. now, fast forward to 2011. around 4 weeks ago my former mba classmate (in hong kong) sent me an email. she was shopping around the side streets of hk (kowloon, tsim tsa tsui) for a cheap and simple mobile phone for her 11 year old son. she stumbled on this nokia 8850 so she asked the vendor for it. she opened the back to check that all's well. upon removing the battery, she noticed a name that's been scribbled on the chrome surface. lo and behold, it was my name. i know, freaky. and i kid you not. anyway, she remembers me as we were study partners. so she sent me an email asking if i wanted to get the phone. of course i said yes! i offered to pay but she said the phone was too cheap so she shipped it right away. last friday (the 30th of sept), the parcel arrived. i put in a sim card and it works! very interesting...and freaky...that something from my past made its way back to me. just thought i'd share it. oh, and check out my signature. second to the bottom is that same nokia 8850 in the pic.

Samsung Valentine's Day offer

In the Samsung Apps there seems to be an offer. Apparently, if you download all of the apps that they have for free in this particular list (some are quite good), you will be sent a voucher for an additional gift.
I have downloaded all the apps, but have received no voucher so far.
Link for details?
Just open Samsung Apps and you'll get the Valentine's offer welcome screen. But you'll have to download all featured apps in the period of time (7.2. until 27.2.)

@jeromepearce: As far as I remember it said the voucher will be issued afterwards, around the March, 6

[Q] DHL - Shipment on hold

Howdy guys,
So i ordered a second OPO for my brother the other day, and since we reside in South-Africa i had to make use of MyUS.com to forward the package to me. Been using them for years now.
Here's the deal, yesterday my tracking status was updated to "Shipment on hold" and if you expand it for further details it says:
"The shipment is awaiting the next scheduled movement, The shipment will be processed in the next available movement"
I then called DHL South-Africa and they told me that there's nothing to worry about, and that the item is on its way from JFK NYC to OR JHB. That was yesterday. So today i called DHL USA and they gave me a completely different story, they told me the package is being held in NY because import tax hasn't been payed...BUT IT HAS! I paid $130 import tax (I know i know) and emailed proof thereof to DHL South-Africa. So i then called DHL South-Africa again, spoke to someone else, and he said that the packaage left JFK today @ 11:40 US time. So who do i believe ? Is my package actually en-route to JHB South-Africa as im typing this or what, there seems to be a serious lack in comms between DHL USA and DHL RSA.
Any input, similar experiences ?
Here a screenshot of the tracking status as of 21:48 (GMT +2) time:

UPDATE:
Eventually emailed proof of import taxes to DHL USA and they released the package from JFK NYC and its currently in JHB RSA en-route to me.

Everything except the screens showing it running. That is how you are really going to know. Buy instead from a known source and you don't have to worry.
Looks legit...
Corners scratched BTW I looked at the same one on eBay

just never buy a phone without running CPU-Z on it first.
When I have sold phones I've uploaded a photo of the phone showing the CPU-Z screen CPU info so people know it's legit.
There's way too many fakes out there these days.
Not only that, but I hear stories of people buying phones second hand and then a week or later they become black listed.
Some people sell their phones then claim they got it stolen or lost and claim on insurance for a new one, the insurance company then blacklists the old EMEI number.
Long story short, I would never buy a second hand phone.
If it's Ebay you have 14 days iron clad money back clause. When you get it, check it, if it's fake, send it back but make sure you start your refund process direct with ebay, not by dialog with the seller.
If you can a screen of it in Recovery then you'll know it's real. If it comes up in Chinese then it'a a fake

Has anybody successfully done this yet? I received and installed my Gear VR, but the instructions on the scratch off card don't seem to be relevant. I did exchange my S8+ on release day (due to a fairly Red screen) and Samsung has my updated IMEI registered but I'm not sure if they have that and my new WiFi MAC address for promotion purposes.
Two days of calls to support are just a waste of time; I just get transferred endlessly between departments. I can't even find out what the free titles are to see if it's worth chasing down.
If anyone could provide a step by step, that'd be great!

I did with no problem. First get vr and phone set up. Launch oculus app and hit the more button. Then go to redeem code and type in the code. Then you cam choose 1of 2 bundles, entertainment or gaming. I accidentally choose entertainment and not gaming. It does show what's in each bundle

That did it....searched all over for the app named "Oculus" and couldn't find it. Finally got that sorted and then it was smooth sailing.
