May i ask someone to help me flash TWRP and root galaxy j4+ correctly? SM-J415FN - Samsung Galaxy J4+ Questions & Answers

Today i tried to root my samsung galaxy j4+ SM-J415FN i failed. I Flashed TWRP using odin successfully but this is where the problems started. I tried to mount and access partitions to flash rmm lock bypass so i would not get locked out and no verity opt encrypt but i could not access the file. I could not connect to pc using usb. I decided to search on the forum. I cleared cache, dalvik, tried to format and repair partitions but it didn't work. After try to boot to OS i seen "recovery is not seandroid enforcing" error. I decided to flash stock recovery. I was stuck in only boot loop but the error stopped happening. Then i decided to re-flash the entire firmware and now im left with working os but i flashed polish rom but the language is not polish... its fine but how can i flash TWRP correctly without screwing everything up and root? i got every zip i need i think and custom kernel (i read that to root i need to flash custom kernel i didn't flash any zips and it because i could not access files from pc or on partitions (i read in a post on the forum that on android pie i need custom kernel to do rooting)).
So how do i flash it correctly and root without screwing up everything again?
And by the way version of TWRP i used is twrp-3.6.0_9-1-j4primelte.img.tar
The RMM/LG lock did not trigger
Bootloader unlocked
Edit: i found out that i flashed t mobile firmware

Oh yes and screen locks were and are disabled

TWRP showed that data partition size is 0mb

I'm also searching for a stable way to root J415FXXU6.
Tried the old method, but can't use lockscreen on it.
Edit:
Tested this tutorial so far lockscreen and root are stable

Galaxy S6 only boots in TWRP

As the title already states my Galaxy S6 ( SM-G920F, 6.0.1, rooted) only boots in TWRP and I can't get out of that recovery boot loop. I already tried flashing the stock ROM but I get the SW REV CHECK FAIL DEVICE 4 BINARY 3 fail. Are there any ways to fix this, possibly without losing all my personal data(if not I'd like to know how anyways)?
I can access the download menu and I also tried wiping the Dalvik/ART Cache.
I tried this stock ROM: G920FXXU4DPIL, Switzerland(AUT)
Thanks for taking your time
EDIT: I haven't tried ADB since I'm not sure how to use it correctly and I don't want to screw up even further.
Hi mate that error means that the stock firmware you are triyng to install is a lower version than the one on the device, go online and find the most recent version, as for the data just boot to twrp make a backup of data partition, connect the phone to pc twrp as mtp turn on by default and copy the backup to pc, after the flash just reinstall twrp and restore.

Root

I tried flashing magisk via twrp but everytime it used to stuck at flashing boot image for hours ..then I manually flashed the patched boot image of magisk....it showed me success but no root was there... after that I flashed my original boot IMG and then tried flashing SuperSU with twrp but this time too same case stucked at flashing boot image .and no further improvement
Note I am on viper os ROM and have tried to root with both f2fs and ext4 but no results... pls help
I don't use this ROM at my phone, but as you can see in this Video from "Tio Hetfield"
the root method from LineageOS does also work.
Simply download the suitable file for your Phone and flash it.
https://download.lineageos.org/extras
If your Rom is based on Android 7.1 download the file for LineageOS 14.1 the processor architecture of the Lenovo P2 is "arm64"
To activate root after flashing unlock the Developer settings and activate root in the new menu entry.
This is only for root access, not the magisk framework
Repair system partition and also ensure data it ext4. This fixed it for me.

I had the same problem, but found a solution!!!
I restarted the Phone by pressing the power button for 20 or so seconds.
Then again thanged into TWRP Recovery mode and there I installed the new beta SuperSU file SR1-SuperSU-v2.82-SR1-20170608224931.zip
That one just worked!

[Bricked] One of the harder ones =|

I'm gonna keep it simple, here is the scenario:
ROM is corrupted.
Bootloader is unlocked.
FRP lock is on. (fastboot can't do much)
TWRP was flashed back to stock.
Stock hard-reset fails. (even wipe option)
Force upgrade stops at 5% (swear I am using the same one)
eRecovery does not work.
Can't flash. Can't push files.
Wat do.
Model: BLN-L24C567B369 (pretty sure this was it)
Whole story:
This whole episode began when I wanted to install Magisk to use MagiskManager's HideMe feature. This required me to install TWRP recovery which inturn lead me to unlock my bootloader in the process, straightforward and went off nicely. Now it was time to gain superuser which I already had done before on another device, installing SuperSU through TWRP recovery was painless but after booting found out MagiskManager needs Magisk Root to work. I then followed Android Exlpained's article to do so. Running unSU through recovery went smoothly but running Magisk didn't, on the initial run I was prompted to use Adrian DC's BootBridge which after removing a few Assert lines ran nicely. However there was no root install, SuperSU was removed though.
At the time I wasn't sure what exactly I was doing and ended up soft-bricking by flash boot through TWRP, at this time FRP was unlocked. After many many hours I restored to stock firmware by using YMNDLZ's guide. I used BLN-L24C567B370(OTA-MF-FULL) for the img files then proceed to flash the vendor.img using TWRP and the rest (boot.img, recovery.img, system.img) using fastboot in that order as instructed. The only part which didn't work was the forced update, it always failed at 5% however after more hours going recovery mode (now stock) wiping the cache and data/factory reset did the trick (Note: my model showed BLN-L24C567B369). I proceeded to reinstall TWRP, installed MagiskManager, tried to install Magisk 16.0 which ran but didn't root me but was fine because MagiskManager's download worked. I then thought since I went through all this trouble might as well install a custom rom, EliteRom was my ROM of choice. At this point I had logged in with my gmail credentials FRP was now locked.
*Before further action was taken I took the precaution to backup my current stable stock ROM after installing EliteROM but before booting*
The steps to install EliteROM went by flawlessly, installed EliteTWRP reboot into it, ran EliteROM
went through the setup without any hiccups. However up system restart I the ROM wouldn't boot leading me to boot into my recovery only to be prompted for an encryption password (???). Since I didn't recall setting one, couldn't boot into the OS, and FRP was locked I couldn't read my own internal storage. So I reformatted the internal storage and tried what had worked before, flashing the img files using TWRP then booting into stock recovery wiping cache and data/hard reset. . . this did not work. And here I am FRP locked so fastboot isn't useful (I think?), stock recovery doesn't work, eRecovery fails connection, and force update still fails at 5% with "Software install failed!".

Lemme know if there is any insight anyone can provide and thanks in advance.

you have to follow only xda methods to root or change to custom rom. i have never heard about flashing stock images from twrp. i think u didn't followed elite rom instructions clearly. you need to formate data then reboot to recovery then wipe everything then flash the os in this way you won't get encription error. anyway now your frp is locked so there is no way to flash twrp so download all the available firmwares for your phone oeminfo then do flashing via dload you will get it worked.
even i was also once stuck with elite rom. i didn't liked it because missing apps icon and forgetting permission. i tried to go back to stock but stuck at 5% error. then went to google searched stock rom for honor 6x india and downloaded nearly 3 roms last one worked helped me to get back to stock.
never flash system images boot, vendor etc from fastboot and twrp unless you are on emui8 and going to try gsi roms.
hey i cant revert back to stock rom. it fails to get package from server. does jio voice calling works on this device?? if no then plz guide me how to go back to stock rom..

GalaxyS8+ SM-G955F: BRICK (Only official released binaries are allowed to be flashed)

My device has been bricked after attempting to root the device using Odin. (Samsung Galaxy S8+)
The device is stuck in a bootloop with the following accompanying error message in red on the boot screen:
"Only official released binaries are allowed to be flashed"
Here is what happened:
I flashed TWRP using Prince Comsy Odin. (The only Odin that actually works on the s8+)
I then booted into the TWRP recovery.
I followed a set of instructions, clearing the Cash and wiping
I restarted once then booted back into TWRP using Vol-Up + Power + Bixby
I was preparing to install Magisk & "no-verity-opt-encrypt-5.1" according to instructions to complete the root.
After installing "no-verity-opt-encrypt-5.1" with TWRP, the system rebooted and i was stuck in a boot loop.
I then got the error message in the bootloop "Only official released binaries are allowed to be flashed"
Since then i have not been able to successfully re-flash TWRP.
I now cant enter TWRP recovery boot using Vol-Up + Power + Bixby anymore
The bootloop is about 2 seconds long and too short to enter TWRP recovery
I can enter download mode and thats all
I have gotten the EXACT official stock ROM for the galaxy s8+ in South Africa with the carrier, Vodacom. (XFV-G955FXXU4CRL4-20181228165540)
If i flash with any official Odin version, it either fails or doesnt do anything for hours...
If i flash any Official stock Rom using Prince Comsy Odin then i do get the whole process of flashing with stock firmware being successful with the result saying "PASS".
The phone then reboots and i am still stuck in the same loop saying "Only official released binaries are allowed to be flashed"
This is after countless times and hours and hours of reflashing successfully with Official stock rom
I still cant get back into TWRP to do any partitioning or formatting or anything
I really don't mind if i lose all of my data and format the phone but PLEASE can you help me get my phone to work again..."?
Do i need to wait 7 days for the official flash to work?
Is there a way to completely wipe my phone without requiring going into Recovery mode with TWRP? Since i cant get into that state anymore either because of the Error Knox block or because of the Loop being too fast.
Please, please, PLEASE....please help me get my phone to work again...
Sincerely,
I know that Odin 3.13.1 works on the s8+ G955F as I flashed the latest BTU stock yesterday so try that version. I had a similar problem with the G950F and after flashing the files I booted into recovery mode and did a data and cache wipe and the phone rebooted. Flashing a stock rom should have wiped TWRP from the phone.
Reflash your rom or a later one, don't forget to take the tick out of the auto reboot box in Odin, boot to recovery and wipe everything and hopefully you will be good to go. Rebooting on mine took around 35 mins or so when going back to stock.

Cannot boot into system after flashing twrp

Before i begin, im new to this root thingy and my english is not that good
I recently wanted to root my s8+ (exynos), i followed the instruction carefully, flashed the newst twrp version via odin but after that i couldnt boot into system. However, i could boot into twrp recovery mode but my internal storage is only 0mb and i basically couldnt do anything. I rooted my phone once but back then i installed rom incorrectly so i had to factory reset my phone by installing stock firmware also through odin.
I want to give myself another try to root but what can i do if i see this situation again? Thank you
