There is two versions of gcam that works with OPO(see below), but is is possible to add the portait mode with blurred background from the Pixel 2 camera?
It has been ported to other phones, OP3T for an exampel.
Maybe some expert in Android could look if it would be possible?

You can use lens blur,but not portrait mode(not possible for 32-bit devices).

HDR+ works fine here.

Using OOS 9.0.4 and want to switch to costume rom x.x
What rom do you recommend?
This one is the best i've tried, everything works, including Nightsight, Portrait, and SlowMo !
I'm not using the last one, i'm using beta 20.

I already told it is for PIE , for Oreo u need version 5 or below.
Hi, got Pie, camera2api enabled, but App crashes at start, any idea what i can do? Tried different gcam mods, always the same issue...

You can use HomerSp version made for Razer phone. It works on Xiaomi.eu Oreo.
Its Gcam 6.1 with night night and works on mi5s with Xiaomi.eu, search here on XDA or in celso azevedo site. ( I cant post links).

Thanks for the info. I never tried Gcam beside BSG and Arnova before. But, I've already flashed another ROM, the CAF one, revenge OS, it's come up with gcam installed. So, I'll try the homerSP ver. later

First app I used after lineage 16, everything works fine
I don't know if needed but I enabled also api 2 by build.prop command
The only thing that doesn't work with your settings is slow motion

Did you try GCam_6.1.021_Advanced_V1.5.190418.1850/Arnova8G2? Why do you prefer MGC_6.2.030_B-S-G-based_v.0.1c.apk? It has some bugs on front camera.

Thanks! Nice and fast gcam version. The only thing that doesn't work for me are pics when HDR is deactivated (both front and back camera). Do you have the same problem? Btw running LOS 16.0

Just install the apk, change settings and you should be good to go.
I installed this gcam version 7.3 of parrot043, in the night sight mode the screen is upside down when the camera is horizontal. Is there any way to fix it? or shuold I use another version?

Disable auto-rotate in phone setting.
i just flashed PE rom. i ve searched the formun for a camera mod to enable 48mp or alternate app to use the full res 48mp but ididnt found anything.
is there any camera mod or app to use the full 48mp on PE rom
