Where can I get up to data decryption files? The file I have doesn't seem to support ArrowOS 12 if that's where the issue lies.

Why is there no Encrypt device in settings security ? this is hugely important and i can't understand why Oppo decided it's a good idea to remove this ! is there a way to force-enable it ?
To enable encryption you
1. need a ROM that support it. Oppo does not.
2. need a partitioning that support it, r7plusf's doesn't.
3. want a recovery that can decrypt it.
1. CyanogenMod and aicp works. Need one or two fixes though.
2. /data need to be repartitioned, it does not have space for the encryption footer.
3. twrp(3.0.2) can currently not decrypt the device.
1 and 2 is not hard to do, but you still want the recovery to work for updates and backups. I changed a few things and got aicp running with encryption, but found no way to decrypt data in recovery.
Wait and see if Oppo release mm for r7+f, it might have encryption on it (it should have).

Got it ! Thanks for the info !
Good day everybody,
A few questions about upgrading my pixel 3 from 9 to 10. To preface I have an unlocked bootloader and am rooted on the June 2019 version of android. I would like to update to android 10 and am wondering if one of my modifications to the build.prop would still work. I use the following modification for enabling hotspot:
net.tethering.noprovisioning=true
Can anybody confirm that this still works on Android 10?
Also, huge noob question - Where is the guide for updating from 9 -> 10 with root/unlock, and do I lose my data in the process? I can't seem to find anything but how to sideload monthly updates.
Thank you in advance for any help
To edit /system or /vendor you need to use magisk and do it systemlessly. A10 no longer allows you to directly modify these partitions. There is some discussion about exactly what you want to change under the guides section in the Pixel 3xl forum. For the second one, there is a guide somewhere in the guides section in this forum. You will need to do a full wipe with a version change. Look into different ways to back up your stuff before you switch. For apps and app data I did a twrp backup before switching then used titanium backup once on A10 to extract the app/data and restore it. For other stuff you might need to do it manually.
Follow this method for the Magisk based tethering modification:

(Works on Pixel 3)
Has anyone succeeded installing the Global rom of Realme 5 Pro on Realme Q(chinese vesion)?
I just flashed the Pixel Experience Plus rom which I downloaded from their official website. It was supposed to be for Realme 5 Pro but working just fine on my Realme Q. I was wondering if could do the same with the Global rom.

You can't. Been experimenting since last October. Realme 5 Pro has bigger system partition size. Meaning global version can take a ****load more of preinstalled apps on system that user can't remove and Realmeme uses it throughoutly. That's pretty much the only real difference between Realme Q and Realme 5 Pro. That's why global ROM size is much bigger and that's why you can't flash it on Realme Q which has smaller system partition. Unlike xiaomeme devices changing ROM from China to global because of this isn't possible as of now. I recommend to stick to custom ROMs so do I.

Some has been experimenting with it. Yes, it is. However if you increase system partition size you'll have to decrease some other partition size which are about just enough to store their data. So overall you won't be able to increase system partition size without losing for example vendor or other partition making ROMs unusable.

What if I change every partition size to make it exactly same as Realme 5 pro's?

I don't think that's possible for you've limited space to use. However if you could somehow take a bit of storage from internal and increase system partition with it maybe it could work. Anyhow that's way over me and I don't know it can be done or not.
while flashing any Q rom; is there DFE Poco X3 available? to keep force encryption away?
i have huge whatsapp data 30gb / and copy pasting due to FORMAT DATA is hassle! takes 10 hours sometimes!
There's a solutions for disabling Data encrytion for Xiaomi.eu ROMs at https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/4190949/. YMMV.

@pnin thank you sir
is there a way to wipe /system partition in poco x3 nfc? as its no longer integrated in twrp? is there script.zip to do that in twrp? or OrangeFox ?
I'm afraid I can't really answer you. There some threads in the forums dealing with backing up and wiping, I'd advise you to read them.

Hi all,
I bought two Xiaomi Poco devices.
1x. Poco F3 8GB / 256GB in White for my self €230,-.
1x. Poco X3 Pro 8GB / 256GB in black for my wife €140,-
Both of them are Second Hand, with the fluctuation right now ist not easy.
For me the unlock is still 72h remaining. And for my wifes X3 pro, i did IT Yesterday and so therefore 160H remaining.
In that that time, i have time to think about what Software (custom Rom) to Install for my device as also for my wife.
We are living in Europe (Germany) so Banking Apps we Need to use.
What are great Roms?
- when i Type in Google searchengine "best custom Rom for Xiaomi"
I got a lot of those Websites Promoted by Google etc.
But in Most cases:
- Lineageos
- Pixelexperience
- Crdroid
- Paradroid Rom.
Are the biggest ones.
1. For me, i Like the xiaomi.eu, because it haves in my opinio the best intergrated File Explorer build in. And ist maintained very wel. But ITs MIUI based, Not loving that.
2. The File Explorer of PE what IS uploading all Files to the Cloud Not the best one for me.
3. Lineageos is Default, Not that advanced as the Xiaomi one. I know that Xiaomi haves the Applikations available in Playstore. But IT never works as when IT IS Intergrated in to the system.
Crdroid and Paradroid never Used those.
Maybe to Check as Well?
For my wife, the PE will BE the best solution. With Gapps included.
Just a extra question.
Does PE Supports "dual Apps" because that is a Feature we use on a Frequent Basic at the Moment
So my choice is made, i have installed the LineageOS with MindTheGapps Android12 package.
Up till now it works fine, only the strange part with Partition A & B, it installed on the B partition.
But each time when i try to install something via TWRP like SafteyNet it says ''unable to load or install TWRP/Media'' something. But at the end it is installed, is this something what can go wrong, or to install it again the complete LINEAGEOS??ß
