Question Charging While Mobile - Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Been doing some research. Since Sammy doesn't sell one, what's a good recommendation for a car charger? PD 3.0, USB C preferred (can have A and C), and BT FM transmitter would be nice (one vehicle doesn't have BT). Some of the ones I've seen are huge!

Is something like this considered too big for you?
Anker Roav Bluetooth Car Adapter and Car Charger, Power IQ 3.0 Type C PD, Bluetooth FM Transmitter for Car, Wireless Calling with Bluetooth 5.0, Noise Cancellation -T2 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0813L778N/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_4NQ735G2YYX8SGD6X0DY

I saw that one. It does cover everything. I just have to double check the room I have. The power outlet is almost dead center in front of the shift handle.

Bluetooth Audio Adapter - BT to 1/8" stereo plug?

Ok, im my mind, this does not seem like much of a stretch, although i have not been able to find anything like i am thinking. What i picture is a relatively small (about 30 mm diameter) bluetooth adapter to stream audio too. The "button" would have a 1/8" stereo adapter coming out the back side so that you could plug this into a aux input on a car stereo, or whatever else. Right now, i have an 1/8" 90 degree adapter to a 2' patch cable to a 3/32" to 1/8" adapter, to the ever so wonderful HTC usb to 3/32" audio and power adapter. This is a pain in the ass. Bluetooth stereo headphones are out. Hell, bluetooth GPS recievers are out that are around the same size that i am thinking this (from what i know) non existant device should be. Can anyone help me out here? All i want is a (small) bluetooth device that has a 1/8" stereo jack on it to plug in my car without the need for any wires.
Does such a magical device exist? Cheers.

MSI made it, and there a new model out

[Q] MicroUSB Headset/Charger?

Has anyone seen a microUSB dock/charger/headset that has audio capability as well as charging the phone? What I'd like is to play music from, have headset controls from, and charge the phone all from the microUSB port on the bottom... or is this what car docks are supposed to do?
The way my car is, it's annoying to plug in the charger on the bottom AND the line out on the top - if there's a headset/adapter type thing, I figure I'll buy one of those and build my own car dock, and potentially speaker dock for the indoors.
OR: Just a microUSB headset - maybe I could add charger wires to it...
Month-long bump: I've realized that all I want right now is a microUSB headset, like for the older phones with no headphone jack. Obviously they don't make these for the G2x; has anyone confirmed another LG headset that works with this phone?
I honestly dont know if anything like that exists but I dont think so because of several reasons. Just a few that come to mind I'm not sure if the kernel driver supports it even if it could; the power running parallel to the audio probably would sound terrible; the USB would probably have to be used with a USB (female) to micro-USB (male) adapter since if you were to find it, it would probably be for PC so needed to be converted further adding to the reduction in sound quality.
Silly question.... why not just use Bluetooth and then usb to charge/data only??
Not a silly question at all. I don't feel like paying for a bluetooth adapter but also, because I've had bad luck with them in the past, as far as sound quality goes; I wasn't very impressed. Are there any good/reasonably priced bluetooth adapters that you've had luck with?
The blackberry audio gateway has been reliable for me and sounds decent.
Hmm maybe... not really a fan of having to plug that in, in addition to my stereo. I'll keep it in mind. Any others?

Why don't you just get an fm-transmitter with 3,5mm headphone jack?
??
Because he probably wants to charge the phone with it.

I dont understand why anyone would want to charge a phone with fm transmitter. Unless its a car fm transmitter that sticks to cigarette lighter. But then you dont need to have usb-c in it. Use your usb-c cable what came on the retail package and the usb output on the fm transmitter/charger...
And if you want a portable fm transmitter that has its own battery and doesnt drain phones battery. Get one of these. Mini Transmitter 3.5mm In-car Music Audio FM Transmitter Electronic Car MP3 Player 3.5mm Car Display 3.5 mm mp3 car

The reason i want a type c cable with the transmitter is to get fast charging with it

USB-C Charging + Audio cable

So I know that the Pixel XL doesn't suffer from the lack of an audio / headphone jack, but I was curious if anyone has tried to use any USB-C Charging + Audio adapters with their Pixel XL.
My wife has a 2005 FX35 which doesn't have bluetooth in the car, we've tried FM Transmitters in the past and those aren't great. However she has been using a 2.5mm headphone to cassette adapter in her car with her phone which she prefers. So I was thinking maybe there is a way to have her just be able to plug in the USB-C + Audio cable for just 1 cable to plug in vs a USB-C + a separate 2.5mm cable.
That car sounds old enough to be able to replace the CD player without much hassle.
Definitely upgrade the radio. You at least need a AUX input nowadays.
Since I can see you've had such gracious and helpful responses so far, I did some research and it seems that most phones that support USB-C charging+audio adapters don't have aux ports on them. For our phones, most of the adapters won't work unless because the wires usually routed to the aux port are running to the USB-C female port on the phone. While there are some USB-C peripherals that can take audio from our USB-C ports (USB DACs, docks, etc), none of the aux+USB-C adapters I've been able to find online are compatible with our phone and all of them were pretty shoddy.
Unfortunately, I think your wife is going to be stuck using the 2 cord method for a while longer.
My last car was a 2007 Accord without Bluetooth. I purchased a Bluetooth adapter that hooked in to the back of the stock radio. There are similar ones made for the 2003-2008 FX35 if you're willing to spend about $150.

If you're handy with a screwdriver, it's a relatively easy install believe it or not.
It might be worth doing a bit of research because I guess there are different ones depending on if you've got gps or not.
That might be a better long term solution if you're planning on keeping the car for a while longer.

Aux cable to Magnetic Charger

So, I'm on the magnetic charger train and I love them around the house. We're a house divided and there's tragically one Apple user here as well as my son who's phone still uses micro USB. The magnetic chargers have allowed us to use a universal cord between us. Well, my car now doesn't have Bluetooth and I'm stuck in the aux cable realm. Of course the 7 Pro doesn't have an aux port so I'm stuck using a dongle but I'm tired of popping out my magnetic nib every time I want to listen to music. Does anyone know of a viable alternative or am I going to have to get a Bluetooth compatible stereo for my car?
Why not just install a Aux bluetooth bridge device in the car powered directly using the cig outlet? Then you can connect to current stereo using bluetooth. Only downside is the lack of steering wheel control of music so you will have to change songs on phone screen or using Google Assistant.
