Hi to all,
I have been looking for a solution for a long time. But all I see is empty thread with no response. So, please can anyone help me out here? My English is not very good. So, I will try and explain everything that I understand.
First of all, I am using Hisesne EVDO E860 Android Cellphone. It came with android 2.3.6 version. Kernel version 2.6.38.6-perf+. Software version E527.6.01.03.BD00. Hardware version, V2.00. Debug Info GRK39F. Model Number HS-E860.
I have been trying to root the device for a long time. But nothing helped. Last time I checked the forum for a software name Framaroot. I thought this is my last hope, as I tried several other softwares like superoneclick, vroot, adbroot, universal root, etc and also some codes using command prompt. None of the method helped rooting the device itself. Most of the softwares couldn't even detect my device. So, I installed Framaroot. Now that I run the software, it shows only available exploit is Gandalf. I don't even know what that means. But when I run it, it says "Failed .... Try another exploit if available (Error #5)". As this was my last hope, I couldn't help but post a thread here. Also, I am a newbie here, so I am expecting a little more than help. Please, help me out here with rooting my device.
Any method, any software and any guidelines or tutorial would be really helpful for me.
I am using Windows 7 64 bit operating system. Any suggestion would be really helpful and appreciated.
Best regards and thanks in advance

Dear Developers,
I need help with a problem that I've encountered trying to root this android that I recently purchased. Specifically, my phone is a UMX MaxBravo u670c. The model version is 2.3.6. The carrier is with Net10 and it's a 3g network that runs on it. I've tried multiple method, but all have failed. I'm starting to lose hope. I do understand that this could be done via PC, but I don't own one. So I figured it shouldn't be so difficult to root this phone, but I was wrong. I see a lot of answers and solutions to a majority of androids out there, but finding anything on my phone from a credible and trusted source is nearly impossible to. scarce. Please help! So far I've tried : z4root, gingerbreak, the update.zip. method
My phone is Lava Iris X9 android 5. I bought this phone today. Since I use lots of apps that require Root access so I want to root my Phone but I am not getting success root. Hi,
I couldn't find your device on XDA, so I suggest you register and ask again here. Good luck!
I have an AT&T Galaxy Tab E (SM-T377A) and I need to root it, but I haven't been able to find any guides or .tar files to flash. I have found guides for the sprint version (SM-T377P), but I'm afraid that will screw something up if I try it.
Is it even possible?
Thanks for the help.
Not that I'm any help...
But I've got the same device and up against the same issue. I read on TECH Advisors web page and it suggested stumproot.org to root it. But I installed it and followed all the instructions but says my device isn't supported. So I believe our devices are too new....hope you find a way though and if so please let me know.
I'd like to know if there 's a way to root it, I recall seening a thread where you would have to downgrade to LP just to get it rooted, but that comes with risk and I like the marshmallow rom much better, so I hope that there's a way soon
I have rooted my samsung galaxy s7 edge from sprint, G935PVPU4BQH1 with some engineering bootloader through odin. I am currently having trouble installing and running kali through the deploy apk. With some searching I found some help for setting up linux but I reached a dead end with a terminal emulator basically telling me I am not rooted with "/system/bin/sh: -su: not found" all I thought i know has been shaken and I see there is no spoon. Please help me root my galaxy s7 edge with the above software version or explain to me why I can't.
this is hard for a noob, any help is much apreciated
Please help ?
Sometimes a root doesn't take. You may have to retry as something could have gone wrong internally even if you followed instructions perfectly.

Root Android 7.0 Nougat on Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge devices. YES! Supports all USA Qualcomm variants. T-mobile, AT&T, Verizon and *Sprint (*Note: Some people have reported problems with the Sprint device after root, while others have had success. As always, read the thread for detail and use at your own risk)

Sprint version has reported problems.
However, I strongly advise against rooting the device due to this post. If Chainfire has issues rooting the S7 consistantly, a community expert, then any attempts at rooting are purely experimental. At this point you may be able to root the device with a real possibility of a hard brick and no logs to prevent the same for future users.
If you still would like to give it a shot, I recommend reading the links in this post and last few pages of the root thread.

Thanks man I appreciate the link to that post, I still had the same error in my terminal emulator but then my dumbass figured out that there are multiple directories root can be installed in, I checked which one I had with root checker and had it fixed in the terminal, thank you
