Question Tap to answer or end calls???? - Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Anyone have a way to have this activated without having the accesibilty floating menu active. I hate that menu it gets in the way of everything.

I think it's been this way for quite a while.
I can't stand the swipe to answer calls etc, so I do use the accessibility menu, but only with the swipe for notification menu, which is handy, with a high level of transparency so I barely notice it.

There is a way to get rid of it completly but it will come back after u restart the phone. Then you have to do the process all over again. You can go to settings>apps>all apps> scroll to accessibility then force stop the app and clear cache. It will stay hidden until you restart the phone. Make sure you have the single tap setting enabled first before you do this.
On my note 20 ultra i have it completly gone even when i restart the phone. I used package dissable pro app to dissable accessibility in settings. But package disabler pro is now EXTREMELY hard to setup and use.

Where is the messagine notification coming from?

Okay... Issue is really starting to annoy me.
I'm using Handcent and have standard messaging app notifications turned off. Whenever I get a text message, I get my Handcent notification icon + the icon pointed out below. The icon pictured below doesn't go away when I read the message either, I have to manually clear it.
Any ideas where this icon is coming from so I can turn it off?

when you get a notification, don't just clear it, click on it and see where it takes you. That's where it's coming from and where it should be disabled if you don't want it.
Nevermind... Found out it is Beautiful Widgets Pack 2 that created that notification... unistalled that and it's gone now!

I had already tried that, but when I clicked it, it just took me to the default messaging app... Handcent; I then changed default back to stock messaging and it took me there, that's why I was pretty sure that neither of those apps were creating the notification.

Two Questions about Moto G - Phone dialer & Camerra app

1) for the camera app, is any way to get it to focus by tapping a place instead of dragging the crosshair icon?
2) for the Phone dialer, how do i make it so the dialer shows up automatically everytime i launch the phone app? i don't have launching the phone app and having to press an extra button to get the dialer to show up.
Also how do i delete all my contacts on the phone? i don't see an option for that.

1) No idea sorry!
2) If you're phone is rooted, there's an Xposed Module called 'Show Dialpad' which will do this.
3) Are your contacts stored on your sim card or are they saved to your Google account? If they're on your Google account it's easier to manage them via the web interface.

Strange memory boost app...

When I press/hold the Back button, I get a popup that shows percentage of memory free. It has two options, close and boost. Boost frees up more memory. I have the all in one Gestures and have set my Back button press/hold to kill running app. Sometimes it does kill the app then other times this other pop-up shows up. I've tried while running Nova launcher and Touchwiz. Not sure if its a feature of the phone or if I have some rogue app installed. I just factory reset it yesterday yet again. I'll upload a pic in a bit.
Thanks.

Ok so apparently its the All in One Gestures app. When you use it to invoke the Kill App action, it starts whatever memory booster is installed in the phone. Must be a Samsung or Verizon installed app because I don't install memory boosters. Not since the days of Gingerbread. Haha. I turned off all in one gestures and the popup no longer appears.
Just to test, I set the Kill app action to a long press of the recents button and sure enough, the memory booster popup came back. Hmmm.
I am seeing this issue also, anyone figure out a way to not have this popup happen?

Can't apply theme from "Moto app"

Hi! Something strange happened. I installed XDA gestures app and did the whole ADB thing to hide the navigation bar (which worked). Some minutes later I go to disable the "Developer options", since I no longer needed them, and then the screen freezes for like a second or two and I notice a slight change in the font. For some reason I check the icons in the notification bar and I notice that the color is different. Wondering if maybe the theme went back to default or something, I open the Moto app and try to set the them again, but nothing happens.
Is there anything I can do? I really miss the previous green color and font.

Pretty dumb move, if you're using administration apps, mods or some plugin that modifies system parameters I would never recommend turning off Dev options.
The theme probably changed after disabling dev options since there are color and font settings in there, and since you disabled them it reverted back to the stock theme.
Just re-enable dev options and leave it like that in case something happens, also you might have issues to run ADB commands with those disabled.

Question P11 Pro gen 2 - How do you enable accessibility control for apps from play store?

I'm unable to toggle accessibility options on for apps installed from the play store.
the default things like Accessibility menu and select to speak show allow/deny options, but trying to enable Smart Launcher Gestures only gives me the option to uninstall... I've never seen this before on other android devices.
Is there some toggle somewhere that will let me toggle these?

I'm facing similar issue, I can't use any other launchers because "double tap to sleep screen" won't work, because I can't enable any apps on accessibility.
This has been addressed and fixed in latest ota update.
