Question Auto Call recording not working need oneplus dialer for this mobile - OnePlus Nord CE 2

Dear Community ,
recently just bought Oneplus Nord CE 2 5G but not able record call in this need Oneplus dialer for auto call record without notification

Here's the solution for you. Install this Oppo Dialer. Give permission. Set Default. Disable the Stock/Google Dialer. You're done. Give it a Try. Worked for me like a charm with NO Google Dialer announcement. My model is OnePlus Nord CE2 11.3

I have tried it but app is not getting installed even though developer options are enabled

Check for OS version 11.3 only. If you have updated won't work.
OnePlus Nord CE2 model.
For me its working great without any CR announcement.

So the version has to be less than 11.3
Is there any other way like installing OnePlus dialer or so, so we can avoid incall call recording notification

All other ways already attempted already failed. This worked smoothly

Thanks pkjha.exim this works on my other Nord 2 and am able to record calls without announcement at other end

Can you call record with Magisk root+skvalex module?

Just because OP removed Call Recording, I would use this method to call record.
Does anyone know if it works?
Thanks for trying.
Ps.: On a Pixel 3a XL I have, after upgrading, I had to change call recording mode to normal (instead of root) and that worked. I mean it's still a Magisk module and stuff, but I just had to change modes. And it works. But I fear an Android 11 phone, or OP might not work.
Thanks!
They didn't remove call recording, I have a non-rooted t-mobile variant kb2007 and it has the op dialer and I used jOnePlus Tools to enable call recording and it works for me. But yes I've used skvalex with true phone dialer on my old 7 pro and it worked amazingly well

Thanks for the tip! I put jOnePlus on my non-rooted KB2007 specifically for the call recording enabling and it works! But, it doesn't like to stay persistent without the service enabled which is annoying. I tried disabling battery optimization for jOnePlus but no luck. Have you had any luck keeping it enabled without the service enabled?

Turn off battery optimization for jOnePlus, I haven't had any issues even with the notification disabled

call recording with Pixel 4A & Android 11

Call recording is important enough for me that I've stuck with a Samsung S5 for the last five years now solely to ensure all my calls are recorded. Sadly this phone is close to dying and I was interested in the Pixel 4A.
On the ACR reddit page it mentions that true two-way-call-recording from the audio source should be possible on Android 11 by rooting the phone and installing something called the Magisk repo with the “callrecorder-skvalex” module. I'm just looking for reassurance that this will work with the Pixel 4A before I buy it please.
Also, other than voiding the warranty is there any issues that arise with rooting your phone? Are you still able to download apps from the google play store with a rooted phone?
edit: I would be buying the UK version if that makes a difference.
Rooting your phone will make your phone less secure but as long as you use common sense when it comes to the apps and modules you install you should be fine. Google Pay will not work on a rooted phone (unless you spoof safetynet), but you will keep all google play functionality. Ive noticed that netflix disappears from Google Play when your phone is rooted, but you can just download it from a mirror site or the Aurora Store.
I havent personally used the module you mentioned, so i cant comment on whether or not itll work. And of course unlocking the bootloader will factory reset your device.

Cheers for the info. Sounds like you Magisk... can I ask what method or guide you used to root your pixel and install Magisk?

Use the standard patching of boot.img then boot it and direct install of magisk. Google hosts their own factory images where you can get the boot image.

I'm in the same exact boat as the OP. Galaxy S5, trying to find a phone to maintain call recording. Am trying a G950F first, but so far not looking good. Tmobile SIM in it to undo RMM=Prenormal and cell signal is terrible. 1 to 0 bars, -115dBm LTE signal (-120dBm being the 'worst' as I've learned). So considering the Pixel 4a despite wanting more storage than 128gb. Would prefer OnePlus except the size is to...not something I want to try to fit in my pockets, despite having large hands that would like a larger phone.
Very interested in hearing peoples rooting experiences on Pixel 4a and call recording functionality.
I'm coming from an S7 myself. My 4a has Android 11 installed and with the Callrecorder app from Skvalex + the corresponding Magisk module, call recording worked perfectly. After thinking how many times I actually needed the recorded call on my old S7, I decided to get rid of the call recording app.
Latest version of Boldbeast Recorder with their Magisk module works perfect
I am sad to report that skyvalex call recorder does not record calls on my new pixel 4a 5G and I just emailed the developer about it. It used to work on my pixel 3a with android 10.
The program runs and creates audio files of the expected length, but when you play them back, there is no audio. And, yes, my phone is rooted with magisk and has the skyvalex magisk module installed. I suspect that something has changed in android 11 that is keeping it from capturing the audio.
I shall now try boldbeast since beeshyams says it works for him.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm expecting delivery of a 4a 5g and want calling recording. So I'm hopeful that you making Skyvalex aware might accelerate the development of a fix.
Also, I don't know if this will be of help, but in my research last year I encountered this comment on an XDA article (thank goodness I bookmarked things!):
" Lexxior • 8 months ago • edited
It still works on Pie and Q if you have root. Just install app systemizer from Magisk and turn your desired call recorder into a system app. I have been using ACR for months this way and it works flawlessly."
https://www.xda-developers.com/android-11-call-recording/#comment
maybe if you can't find a app to work with root systemizing will still work well on Android 11 as well.
Edit: did some more searching around, came across an interesting post on BoldBeast. last post in thread by Admin:
https://www.boldbeast.com/forum/top...issions-for-android-11-for-pixel-2-xl-p2.html
apparently latest version of boldbeast should work fine on Android 11 according to developer.

Aha! The skyvalex developer figured it out after I contacted him and sent logs! The problem was that I was connected to wifi and so the phone was using VoLTE, or VoIP, or Wi-Fi for calling. None of these can be recorded - only calls using the phone network.. So I turned off wifi and then the calls were properly recorded on the 4a 5G using skyvalex call recorder with the magisk module. I am happy that I can get high quality phone call recording again.
This limitation is caused by android, not the app and is documented in the faq here: https://callrecorder.skvalex.com/faq I checked and the boldbeast app has the same limitation: Only normal calls can be recorded, wifi calls can't be recorded no matter what recorder you are using, so if your phone supports the wifi call feature please disable it.
I am going to create a simple tasker scene that will turn off wifi whenever I place or answer a phone call - I think that may solve the problem for me. If you get empty recording files, try turning off wifi before starting your call and tell us what you find.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I found out through some google searches that you can also record phone calls by using the built-in screen recorder BUT you do have to have speakerphone on or it won't hear the person on the other end.
Not an ideal method as it records not only the audio but also whatever is happening on the screen but it could be useful in a pinch. To make it easier to access, you can drag the Screen Record icon to the first page of the Android Quick Settings. I used this method a couple of times before the dev helped me get skyvalex working again by turning off wifi. The resulting files are bigger than you would like because they include a video of the screen but you could always extract the audio only if you wanted/needed to.

Android 11: Can you still record calls?

I know I've asked this once before (and have gotten a reply, which I am very thankful for!) - but finally, I am able to pull the trigger on this great device.
The only question I have is: Is it possible to record calls on Android 11?
Because some phones have switched to Google Dialer for example on Android 11 and have lost their recording capability. Some did opt-in to use this stupid Google Dialer call recording thing which announces when a call is being recorded, but yeah, I don't want either. I either want a system recorder OR skvalex (Magisk module). The only issue with skvalex here is that ASUS phones lose warranty if you unlock.
Thanks!
YES you can record call. No need to root. No need fo rother apps. No need to do anything except You have to enable it in factory phone app first.. Only other phone that does this was a older xiami phone and I think they even stopped this feature. So this will be the goto phone for your phone call recordings and they do come out very clear..

Thank you, much appreciated. I bought the phone by the way, loving it so far. Had only a question about the camera module but I posted that in a different thread. Seriously, out of OnePlus 7 Pro, Samsung Note 10+, Xiaomi MI 10T Pro and so many others, this is the best phone I tried. It ticks all the boxes really.
CALL RECORDING:
Xiaomi: If you buy EEA (Europe) model, there is no call recording. Global, I don't know. But you can get around these by using the Xiaomi.EU firmware. It's a "solution" I guess. But Xiaomi/MIUI still does not have "Ignore Do Not Disturb" for notifications, so good luck trying to get your home alarm notification or anything of that sort. Of course you can always use custom roms, but I have not seen a flawless/daily-driver-stable custom rom in the past 5 years or so.
Samsung: You can use a "CSC Changer" to change the CSC of your phone to a country that has Call Recording enabled. This trick works in Android 10 - I have not tried it on 11 yet. Your phone HAS TO BE SUPPORTED by the CSC changer. For example my Note 10+ was supported, but my 512GB Note 9 was not. So yeah, it's a hit or miss. And honestly, Samsung's own ecosystem is... yeah.
Nokia: Needs root -> lose warranty -> nope.
Motorola: Their phones are not Android One lately. (only some)
Honestly, ASUS is a really good brand, Zenfone is a super solid phone. Other than that, there is only Google Pixel really - IF they sell it in your country. There is OnePlus but oh my god, each model's own forum on OnePlus.com is FULL of complaints and issues. Each update breaks something, makes things worse. It's just a dreadful experience, considering you have to pay now close to 700-1000$ for some models.
Your specific question about call recording on A11 isn't answered though. I'm not on the beta program so I can't answer it either.

second person on the line hears echo (his own voice) during call, using native call recording feature after upgrading my OnePlus 7 Pro to OOS12

Hi guys,
I enjoyed the native call recording feature of my OnePlus 7 Pro (still official OOS without mod), activated only by using Magisk and jOnePlus Tools via ADB command.
In previous versions of OxygenOS it worked flawlessly, but after my official upgrade to OOS 12 it produces this echo sound, which the second person hears during call (he hears his own voice).
I tried to reinstall/reactivate it many times, but still this issue persists. My friend's OnePlus 7 Pro has got the very same issue after upgrading to OOS 12 and is not able to do anything against it either.
Does anyone of you face the same issue, please? Did anybody succeed to solve this, please?
Thanks for any comments!
Hey
Did you ever find a solution? Just got the OOS12 update now and having same problem.
Maybe will try another dialer (I couldn't get OnePlus dialer to work after downloading from somewhere).

Question Is it possible to record phone calls on this phone

It's MIUI 13.0.5.0 SKTEUXM. Redmi note 11 pro+
There's no settings for call recording on this phone. It's there a fix or will an alternative ROM make it work.
Id rather not root it if possible because then, based on previous phones, my banking apps don't work.
It's been a while since I've rooted a phone so I understand things might have changed a bit.
Thanks in advance.
Use denylist in Magisk so your banking apps can work normally. For call recoder, you can try Basic Call Recorder, flash it via Magisk.
Many Thanks

On my Redmi Note 11 pro 5g with 13.0.4.0 SKCEUXM, Cube ACR records call perfectly.
I confirm, no phone call recording application works on the Pro+ 5G due to security restrictions.
With Global Indonesian version you can record calls, i have it only for this.

Will Magisk fix this?
Ie dont have Magisk this time. Not rooted. But Cube works fine. You just have to enable App Connector.

Could you possibly point me in the right direction how to do this thanks
Edit Moderation: Language
When the Cube is installed, it appears in the Redmi settings and write "application connector" in the search field.
Then activate it.
But normally Cube will ask you to do so
Edit: automatic translation causes Language problem. Sorry.

Cube ACR App Connector is greyed out in the OFF position? Any more ideas how to make it active? A message appears "Restricted setting. Fire your security this setting is currently unavailable" Is this a non rooted issue perhaps?
Thanks
No root to have for this.
