Trying to update a game with a 1+ GB update and after roughly 15 seconds the screen dims then shortly shuts off putting the phone into standby. Why is this a thing? When watching videos or actually playing a game it doesn't do this. Game Genie should have an option to stop the phone from going to sleep while in a game.

"Summoner's War" + "Media server"-Service keep Huawei P8 from going into deep sleep
Hey everyone,
I have a Huawei P8 running stock Android 5.0.1, build GRA-L09C432B200.
There is currently no OTA update available.
In the past month I have noticed, that my phone doesn't go into deep sleep, because the "media server"-Service keeps the phone "active" even when the phone is off.
When I put the device in my pocket with 100% and driving for about 30 minutes to work, I already have lost 8-10 percent,
Besides, I have been playing the game Summoner's War quite a lot.
I have uninstalled the game for two days and my battery life became normal again.
After installing it again and playing it for a few minutes and closing it, the media-Server is again by far the most power consuming process.
I also have seen, that the Summoners War app 'needs' the permission to prevent the device from going into standby, even though the game itself is not the problem.
My battery statistics in the Settings app are similar to this: mediaserver: 40%, summoners war 20%, Screen x% and so on.
I think the mediaserver-Service is scanning the game the whole time, when the game is minimized or closed, and that is the Problem.
Is there anyway to force the device to go into deep sleep?
I have a G930F stock but rooted. I recently installed a game called "Battleborn Tap". I noticed that if the game is running in the background (ie. if I'm playing and hit the home button to go back to the home page), if I leave my phone on my desk, it won't auto sleep/lock. If I kill the game by using the recent apps button then the close all apps button, if I leave my phone on my desk it auto sleeps/locks like it should. Any one know if this is a setting I need to flip or if the game even when running in the background is keeping the phone awake?
Issue I had from yesterday was, while I was at worked during lunch I played for a couple minutes then went to browse the web using chrome. I then put my phone face down on my desk thinking it would auto lock in a few seconds. Two or so hours later I got a text message and saw that the phone is still awake and unlocked when I picked it up.
Today i notice that the second hand in all watch faces are delayed some seconds from time to time. When you wake the watch you see the second hand jumping serval seconds forward. Any way to solve this?
Same problem here. Sometimes theres a delay of 10+minutes and i have just enough time to realise thats not the time before it catches up. Frustrating when i need to simply glance at the time. Also on the "tachymeter" watch face I use the stopwatch function, however the stopwatch starts then stops showing the time recording, showing 0:00.97 every time. If i press stop, it tells me the true time I was trying to measure, But sometimes I'd like to see how the time progresses, For example if I need to countdown something. Is my watch too full of crap? Do i need to delete files???
Whenever I play a game (Monster Hunter Stories, Elder Scrolls: Blades) with cutscene or not touching the screen, the phone screen dims and them locks. It's especially annoying in cutscene. It doesnt do this with videos. Is there a way to make it stop WITHOUT extending the whole phone's time out?
I believe the Samsung Game Launcher app is supposed to keep the screen from locking and stop notifications from interrupting gameplay.

Click to collapse
You can turn on Smart Stay (keep screen on while you're looking at it)
