downgrade from EMUI12 to EMUI 10 - Huawei P40 Pro Questions & Answers

Hello friends. I have a P40 pro. I was using emui 12 , when i try to downgrade to EMUI 10 with hisuiteto install google services it won't downgrade "verifying till 4% then gives me the error message.
is there any way to solve this problem?

you cant downgrade from emui 12 to 10 directly.
you must downgrade using hisuite to emui 11 then to emui 10

Problem installing google gms mate 30 pro 5G china emui 10.1

Hi everyone I have a huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G LIO-AN00 Chinese and I made the transition from EMUI 10 to 10.1 but I discovered a problem. As soon as I install google play service to put google services, the phone signals me `` error in uninstalling google play service '' therefore I cannot proceed with the installation and I have tried in every way to downgrade the firmware to return to the EMUI 10 version 10.0.0.205 but nothing to do has happened to any of you?
Uníntall beta profile, using HiSuite to downgrade to EMUI 10.1 and install GG. Do not wipe/reset factory after update to 10.1
Exactly what problem you are facing and may I know is it beta update or stable update.

Friend hello and thanks for the reply but to exit the beta test which procedure should I do? However, I have already formatted and reset because I thought it was a problem caused by the update therefore I imagined that formatting would have solved the problem. I tried to do the downgrade procedure with Hi Suite but without leaving the beta test and it didn't work it doesn't make me go back to the previous stable version.

Friend today I connected my phone to the PC by opening hisuite and suddenly it gave me the possibility to be able to return to the EMUI 10 stable version 10.0.0.205, so now I do the update I install the google app with the method you have on your page ( The real one ) and then I will redo the beta update to use google gms with EMUI 10.1

Downgrade from 11.0.0.151

I am using a mate 30 pro now with 11.0.0.151. When i try to do a downgrade with hisuite proxy with hisuite 11 i have always error, so i have understood that i need to use hisuite 10 because hisuite proxy is not compatible with emui 11. But now i have a new problem: the apk of hisuite 10 is not fully compatible with emui 11 so i can not connect the phone with hisuite on pc.
So what is the solution in my case to downgrade? Thanks. Please help.

Hey guys i got a problem to Downgrade my Emui 12 to 11 or 10.
i got all done like note in post.
i used hi.suite 10.1.0.550 OVE
HiSuiteProxy HISuite-Proxy-3.0 because the highest version download always fail,
and my first try did this
pre:464440
ELS-N29-PRELOAD 11.0.0.3(C432R4)
cust:464433
ELS-N29-CUST 11.0.0.3(C432)
base:611704
ELS-LGRP4-OVS 11.0.0.260
but after the download and install is finshed it always get a red update fail after 1//4 bar progression.
any idea what i do wrong ?

Downgrade Emui 11 to Emui 10

since 2 Days i try do downgrade my Huawei p40 pro ELS-NX9.
After reading many Threads i have now the Build number 11.0.0.180 which could be downgrade.
Now i try to flash 10.1.0.178 and 10.1.0.131 but nothing works.
Every Tutorial to use Proxy failed because i can not install the HiSuite Version they want.
Can anybody help me?
Download, extract and install this first and try to install HiSuite after that.

You have to upgrade (OTA) to 11.0.0.230 maximum to have USB connection and use HiSuite Proxy.

Now i have Build 10.1.0.176 after OTA 10.1.0.154 to fix usb adb.
I can not flash otg the version 10.1.0.121 an HiSuite doesn´t except my P40
I wanna flash a lower Version to install google services.
But which firmware should i use und how install it?

Should i look after a Firmware withe exact the same details like my?
R6 in Preload have to be the same?

I already told you what to do.
So i can not flash the Version 10.1.0.131 to install Google Services?
OTA i update to 11.0.0.230 and get my usb connection and fastboot back. Then downgrade with proxy to 10.1.0.154 = works
But how i come from this Version to 10.1.0.131 to install Google.
With 10.....154 and 10.....176 odb isnt working.

Hello, I need help. I have a Huawei Mate Xs and I'm currently on EMUI 12.0.0.290. A month ago, I downgraded to EMUI 11 and then to EMUI 10. Now, after a month, when I try the same downgrade (absolutely the same version of the system, using the same method), the lowest I can go is EMUI 11.0.0.168. When I try to roll back to EMUI 10, any version, the device goes into bootloop and nothing helps (delete cache memory, factory reset). The only way is System Recovery via HiSuite Proxy on EMUI 11 and that's it. Has anyone else had a similar problem and is there a chance that Huawei will put some sort of ban on it with the 12.0.0.290 update

i solve it ,thanks badmania
the problem was when i downgrad to emui 11...186 i lost usb connection and i try many versions ( 11 or 10) to downgrad but no results so i update it to emui 11...260 then i try with Hisuite it worked to downgrad to emui 10....131
and after installing GMS i upgrade it to emui 12 step by step by wifi
now every thing good
