are you out of this? i experienced it too

Odin patched wont reflash your current firmware? No recovery mode access im guessing? What did you do to get there? I converted my a125u to a125w xac to unlock bootloader and root.

I experienced this with my Samsung Galaxy A12 Nacho (A127F/DSN), it basically means you're flashing wrong firmware. Download firmware from SamFW and download from IMEI number, then you can actually verify it is for your device.

You can't fix it then. You have to open up your phone and use BROM MODE.

Galaxy s7 FRP lock, dm verity error, need help

Hello, i just got my GS7 as an upgrade from rogers a few days ago. I flashed TWRP and rooted with CF auto root. I made a huge mistake by disabling developer options after rooting, and then rebooted my phone. When i disabled developer options, it also disabled OEM unlock. When my phone rebooted it said in red letters above the samsung logo: Custom binary blocked by FRP lock. It would then turn off and only show that screen. I could not boot into recovery, i could only go to download mode. So using odin i attempted to flash the stock firmware and stock recovery. Now when i try to turn on my phone it is stuck in a boot loop but i can get into the stock recovery. In recovery i did a factory reset, but it was still in a boot loop. At the bottom of the recovery page it says:
No Support SINGLE-SKU
Supported API: 3
dm-verity error . . .
In download mode it says: ODIN MODE
DOWNLOAD SPEED: FAST
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
FRP LOCK: ON
Secure Download : Enabled
WARRANTY VOID: 1 (0X0500)
RP SWREV: B:2 K:0 S:1
I have tried using kies 3 emergency firmware recovery, but my device does not show up on the list. I tried firmware upgrade and initialization by entering model number and serial number, but it says SM-G930W8 does not support initialization.
MODEL: SM-G930W8
SM-G930WZKAXAC
Im stuck and dont know what else to try. Any advice?

When flashing with Odin, what files did you use? (Did you use all 4: BL, AP, CP, and CSC?)

Ah. You need to use atleast ap AND csc. Dont use home csc if its there.
Down the stock ROM from sammobile.com. It will be in a zip format. Unzip once it using 7zip to yield a tar.md5 file. Just flash this entire file in the appropriate Odin slot.
I have always flash Samsung stock firmware without splitting the firmware into 4 files.
I would not use kies anymore.

Update: I flashed "combination files" which was supposed to disable FRP lock. After flashing I seem to have gotten an entirely new 'recovery?' I'm really not sure what this is or where to go from here. This is what it looks like: Combination Files https://imgur.com/gallery/jsJIJ
Any ideas on what this is?

Thats the recovery or android?
Download this: https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s7/SM-G930W8/XAC/download/G930W8VLU2BQK4/198012/
And flash all 4 files in Odin. Not sure what firmware you flashed lol. This should fix up everything, you'll have to unlock the bootloader again if you had to unlock it yourself.
Here is the latest Rogers rom I found: https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s7/SM-G930W8/RWC/download/G930W8VLU2BQK4/197399/
I have never flashed 4 files to a Samsung phone when restoring to stock. I download the file, zip once to get a single tar.md5 for, and flash the single file in Odin.

on the left panel i could enable developer options in the settings app: https://imgur.com/gallery/jsJIJ
Then using the free trial of the chimera tool for windows i downloaded and flashed the stock firmware. Phone booted up and i just had to enter my google account info and i was good to go!

I tried Smart Switch recovery feature but it's now showing there. When I try to go to recovery mode. It said. "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software". Backstory. I install TWRP in the device from download mode without rooting it. And jump to TWRP on the first restart. And install SuperUser, Xpose etc then restart and enable Super User on boot. The phone is locked after installing new updates. I try to flash BL, AP using Odin 3.12 and 3.13.1. It's failing
Can't turn on the phone. What to do? Please help. Thanks
Step one: Download some marshmallow rom or some nougat rom which has some frp bypass exploit, download an oreo rom and download patched odin https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/patched-odin-3-13-1-t3762572
Step two: flash the oreo rom and boot your device, so you know that your device does actually boot and is not totally broken.
Step three: you need to mix up the two roms, its been a while since i've done this, so i don't remember how i mixed the roms up, i think i installed AP, CP and CSC of the marshmallow/nougat rom and BL of the Oreo rom. Just try this out, if it won't work, you need to try to mix them up differently, maybe install BL and CP of the Oreo rom and AP + CSC of the marshmallow/nougat rom. Just try out until odin says it passed and the phone boots into marshmallow/nougat
Step four: use an frp bypass exploit that works on the marshallow/nougat rom you installed
please don't be angry because of my bad english and bad formatting, hope it works for you. I did this on the second bootloader version, so maybe samsung fixed this on your bootloader version.

Samsung A50 root problem

I'm really having a serious problem about rooting Samsung A50. I followed the steps this forum or rooting tutorials give me and it worked properly.
The main problem was about rebooting it and it showed an error it directly take me to the download mode and saw this:
ODIN MODE (DT Load Fail)
[DTH] dt table headet check Fail <unknown error>
Load_kernel: could not do Normal boot. (DT LOAD Fail)
vbmeta: Error verifying vbmeta image: OK_NOT_SIGNED (3)
vbmeta: VERIFICATION_DISABLED bit is set.
CUSTOM VBMETA
VBMETA: No sign info
VBMETA,
I don't know how to fix it so anyone can help me? I'm actually planning to root my current Samsung A71 when this happened.
You need to disable vbmeta
How to disable it?
I have same problem with my phone A50, please what can we do?

Aaaah, U.S. variants are always bootloader locked. No way to unlock them unless paid service. And even then, the TWRP we have for the A71 4G international variant won't work on the U.S. version I believe.

I just made a full dump of the rom and swapped out the recovery files, boot, and vbmeta. I wiped it then flashed it with mtkclient with the wl out command. It wont exit brom(i used mtkmeta utility for brom and not the TP and i think that messed it up). I sent the mtkclient devs a question and trying as many methods as i think of. A fix is bound to arise.
MTKMeta was your problem It states in the description that the tool might mess our phones up, the A12 is one of the phones listed to not use with the tool at this point in time. It breaks the phone Not sure why

Yeah kinda missed that small print welp
I figured it out.extract all files in bl, ap, csc, cp(must be firmware you were on). convert from lz4 to img if need be theres a tool for it. In mtk client you have to flash the partitions individually. So python mtk printgpt to see all your partitions then flash all the files to their partitions(python mtk w boot exampleboot.img). I just made a script to install everything from the run.example. After you get it all installed i held volume down and power and it rebooted into download mode then just use odin after that.
