I'm looking for a simple screensaver with analog clock form my smartphone WM6... any idea? I can't find it!

This program only for PocketPC. Or I'm wrong?
That program is intended to be used on PocketPC, but you can run it on smartphone as well. However it has many problems. First of all you cannot cahnge settings(you need touchscreen for that). But you can use some tool like PocketController to change those settings.

Ок, thanks. And what buttons will block/unblock the device on smartphone?
Normally you would unlock the keyboard like on iPhone. But since there is no touchscreen on smartphones you need to go to settings and change DPAD setting to on and Hide all softkeys to ON. To do that use something like pocket controller so you can swith those settings. Then you will unlock the keyboard using the right softkey.
I wonder if the developer could make a smartphone version. Since the program works well on smartphone, the only change would have to be made to the settings window (which does not work without touchscreen) and also the key to unlock the keys (which is not too... secure). But I love that program.

It can be used for smartphone too, if you know how to edit your registry. You can use dpad to unlock (right button) you can even hide the "slide to unlock" bar, it is very good software

Hello...just downloaded this version of CHome Weather and it looks amazing...great job. There's only one problem, probably related to the 240x320 cpr file because, like I already read in the excalibur forum, there's an issue in 240x320 where the background looks a little odd and doesn't fit the area like it supposed to. But again amazing job...keep it up
EDIT: I've just used a version of the 240 x 320 cpr file already used in another version of your plugin and it works great now
I was just now testing the other layouts and there are some issues:
- I realized that everytime i change the layout, it doesn't matter the cpr 240x320 file i did put there because when the layout is changed the cpr file is kind of replaced by the one corresponding to the sellected layout.
- In the HTC and Iphone layout, it shows always an icon with a cross below the icon of the current weather, instead of showing the icon corresponding to the weather.
- In regular layout, the gold and silver backgrounds don't work well in 320 x 240.
- In the regular layout, in the 1 and 3 layouts, I can't see the hi and low temperature.
Yeah, you'll have problems with the portrait layouts.
Is it possible to fix the problem with portrait?? That is the last thing, that keeps me from donating.
I am so happy with this program. I worked as Organic M's test subject to get this working. I can't say I notice the problem you guys are talking about in regards to portrait mode.

From your post, it looks like that screen is in ladscape mode. Portrait is taller than wider, yours looks wider than it is taller.

Well if you put it that way, you'll definitely NOT get me to fix the portrait layouts. How about.. "here's a small donation and small request... I would really appreciate it if you could work on the portrait layouts(which is a major PITA) so this works properly on my phone".
Well then I Only wanted to know if it is possible to do it. But I can live without it. I can look outside to see the weather. You know I made a lot of stuff for the Vox...but I never received ANY donation!!!

This is definitely NOT what I wanted to happen here. I worked with Organic M to get this app to work with our phone models and he was nice enough to help us out.
This is far from the thanks that he deserves, since the app is designed for an entirely different model.
Why so serious? can't we all just... get along?

I think the Chome Configurator will allow you to change the order of Slides on your Home Screen.

As I said I only wanted to know if it is posible nothing more. And I just wanted to clarify that people here are not thankful! I really do apreciate his work. And the work of all the other coders and cookers! I hope you understand my point!
Does this plugin use necessarily the whole width of the screen, or is it possible to customize its size or layout (present conditions, 2-days forecasts, 5-days forecasts...)?
At present I'm using Fizz Weather with Orange plugin on my Wings, in order to show an analoug clock and weather forecasts next to it (see here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=89987&d=1212446950); will it be possible to make the same thing with Chome Weather?
So... is anyone still interested in making this work better with the Vox ? Maybe ask some of your ROM cookers to look at the policies in the registry and ask them remove the restricts that don't allow cab files to copy files to the \windows directory ? Then I wouldn't have to make two separate .cab files when I released a new version That, and if anybody wants to help test the portrait layouts, we can make this happen.
Yes it would be great to see the weather plugin fully working on the Vox...that thing about the restrictions I never understood that because after checking myself the registry many times, I saw that the restrictions were disabled and the thing about installing files in the windows folder still remains a problem...

I can't go into the ins and outs.. but lets just say... v1.6 is the one that we all be using.

Difficult or impossible? Without the bottom row, I cannot bring up the channel panel to change channels. Is there a way to change channels at all without that panel?

Yes... Program the on screen shortcut keys...
thats how i'm using it... but I cannot go into full screen. there simply is no way to click on it on the bottom bar.

The only way I can get into full screen is to open the keyboard. Of course that's not totally practical having to have my keyboard open all the time for full screen. Have you tried something like Gyrator 2 to maybe see if when Gyrator puts it into landscape, the fullscreen activates?
I have a Touch Pro 2 BTW.

The keyboard will do the remote control tasks for you. I believe the keystrokes are the same as for the keyboard on the Desktop version:
The Numbers type numbers
G is Guide
Up and Down Arrows change channels.
X is exit, etc. I don't know where to get a full list.
Also, I set Slingplayer to Auto-Rotate using G-Config. The Window Class name is SlingClient. This gets me to full screen without opening the keyboard.
That's about the only way I can make it so I can use it.
If anybody wants the files in the program's folder I can send them. Just PM me.

Hmm, strange. I added Slingplayer to the Whitelist for autorotate, using G-Config and it's not rotating. I reboot and looked at the registry and can see it there(SlingClient), but Slingplayer just won't rotate unless I open the keyboard.

Hmm, weird, it stopped working for me as well. To be honest, I can't remember when it stopped, but it used to work. Perhaps it's the standard 6.5 builds that do it.
Well, this makes it even more important to fix this issue. I have submitted a support request to Slingbox, so we'll see what they have to say.

I have a Samsung Intrepid, I tried installing and customizing with the SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.5 but no luck. The toolbar was on the right side and my pictures wouldnt fit on the screen as well.
I was curious to if anyone had any other custom roms for Windows 6.5 on a Samsung Intrepid worth trying out??????????????

I have now also bought a Tesla Style radio for my Opel Astra j. I would like to change the theme of the A/V bar, but unfortunately I can't get into the menu. When I click the center of the screen no menu pops up.
I found the Launcher folder, which also contains the various themes.
Can you please help me how to change the style.

Unfortunately this is not part of the launcher and depends on the seller. Even if, it is not easy to do and not changeable with some menu.

Depends on the MCU of your unit.
Could be possible that your unit has an app called Eventcenter.apk
With your minimized and incomplete picture you provided it´s not possible to say.
Show the "About tablet" page where one can see the MCU, firmware and Android version and may be we can get further.

Hi,
This unit is based on FYT with SC7862 chipset.
I asked mods to move your request into the right forum.
May be you can find some more information about your chipset and possibilities to change things.
Depending on your CANbus and firmware, the CANbus apk can put this at the bottom of your screen.
I am afraid you can't change this as it would require some heavy modding which would most probably brak the signing of the apk and thereby make the app unusable.
I just want to change the style not the function. There are different themes for this bar, I have already found them on the device in the folders. According to the operating instructions, you should tap on the screen and a menu will open in which, among other things, the background image can also be changed. But no menu opens for me.
Hi. Does anyone know which FYT units have an adjustment of the backup camera guidelines horizontally? I have my camera installed off-center and need to shift the lines (box) to the left to have a realistic view. I saw some videos where this can be done by clicking on the screen while in reverse mode to get to this menu. I wonder if this is a feature present only in some specific units, or there is a category of units that has this. The sellers on Ali don't seem to understand what I am asking. Thanks!

You can do that manually by altering the apk. Unzip the apk, change the png files and rezip it. I described it in one of my Q&A threads ( I think the sc9853i Q&A thread).
Once done you can't flash that single apk to your unit. You need to install it as an update, e.g. like any other app that gets updated.
