Android ToolboxWhat does it do?This application is built with Flutter. It uses adb behind the scenes to execute each and every user operation. The application comes bundled with adb, so you need not have adb installed and configured in path. I plan to bring it to linux after adding some functionality.
Features
You can now perform some file management tasks
File Transfers are performed using adb push and pull. So, that should bypass a lot of API and protocol overheads resulting in a much better file transfer speed especially when transferring a large number of files.
Reboot to system, recovery, fastboot, bootloader, recovery's sideload mode directly or simply power off using the power controls
You can open, offload, suspend, un-suspend, install, uninstall, kill or recompile apps. (Apps are currently shown as package names only. I couldn't find a way to get app titles without pushing aapt to the mobile device.)
Suspending: Suspended apps cannot be launched until they are unsuspended. Useful when there are some apps which send pesky notifications/annoy but you don't want to uninstall.
Offloading: Uninstall apps to save space while keeping app data intact. Upon reinstalling the app, it will resume right where you left (Exactly how iOS app offload works except, you will have to install the app when needed).
Bloatware or other system apps can now be uninstalled without root (Uninstall for your user while keeping data)
Reinstall uninstalled system apps: "Whoops! Uninstalling X system app is causing some of the other dependent apps to crash!" Fret not! You don't have to remember the uninstalled app package names and can reinstall those apps using the reinstall uninstalled system apps feature.
App currently works on Linux (but not supported yet) and Windows, but only Windows installer is available as of now. Linux users can clone and compile it for themselves.
Inbuilt update support for Windows. App will ask you to update when a new update is released
Unable to wait for new features? There is support to update to pre-release version from within the app.
Dark theme support. Uses mica in Windows 11, acrylic in Windows 10 and a regular solid background in Linux.
More soon......

Hello,
If it works in background, as a background scanner it needs less than 0.1-0.3% of your battery.
On most devices system load almost very low and it's don't slow your system.
Small hotfixes:
Version 1.1.5
- Fixed Force Close on Android 1.5(such as CLIQ XT) while scanning.
- Fixed problems with display on small screens (such as SE XPERIA Mini).
Version 1.1.6
- Added tablets screens support
- Add Samsung Galaxy Tab screen full support
- Add Android 3.0 tablets landscape only support (Test Verison now)

[APP][4.1+][NO ROOT]DPI Changer

Sometimes you just don't like the size of the items on your screen. If you're lucky, your phone's software has its own DPI changer of sorts, where you can choose among a few different presets, but what if you want more options, or you aren't one of the lucky few with that feature?
Well, this app aims to fix that problem on any Android device running 4.1 or later. There are quite a few apps out there that change your DPI, but this one doesn't actually require root, even if you aren't running Nougat. You will have to reboot if you aren't rooted, but hey, that's better than being around a computer all the time to use ADB, right?
There are instructions in the app for the setup and usage.
IMPORTANT:
- I don't know if this will work on every device running Android 4.1+. I was able to test it on an emulator running 4.1, along with various LG and Samsung devices on Marshmallow and Nougat, but that obviously doesn't include everything. Send some feedback if it isn't working for you, and include your device + Android version.
- Non-root mode requires you to execute a one-time ADB command (unless you uninstall and reinstall the app). From then on, all you'll need is a reboot.
- Avoid setting the DPI below 72. I don't specifically know what happens, but I know Android tools prevent this from happening by default. I will build the limit into this app in a future update.

@ProGuy1 if you can use ADB to change your DPI, that's great! But some people don't know how or don't have constant access to a computer. I figured rebooting would be more convenient than finding a computer with ADB.
Also, devices on 4.3 and above no longer need to reboot, whether rooted or not.
@S. Loranca You can certainly translate it if you want. The source code is on GitHub. Look in `/res/values/strings.xml`.

Thanks for making this! I saw the "Display Size" setting missing on my new Xiaomi phablet; a few apps I tried on the play store failed, but this app works perfectly.
For reasons you'll see soon, I'm removing this project from XDA and closing the thread. If you have the app right now, email me or PM me with any questions.

How to: Launch intents, set defaults with Android internal app picker/intent handler

This is just a convenience trick. This can be done on ANY stock FireOS ROM WITHOUT root access, provided you have ADB installed and working.
This shell command will launch Android's internal intent picker (app picker) so you can select a variety of apps and functions to make as default. For some reason, not all apps are included (system and or user). This helps set default intents when more than one app exists to handle the same intent.
If you removed the device owner configurations based on my removal guide here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/hd8-hd10/general/root-remove-parental-control-t3932831 and you have not done a wipe (that means select everything except system), your tablet may reboot when the picker pops up and you may not be able to set defaults as a result. Why? Intents are directed to be launched through Amazon's internal picker. When disabling the use of their managed accounts and deleting the associated apks, Amazon's picker becomes frustrated and sends intents to the owner managed profile, which no longer exists. Launching Android's picker manually overrides Amazon's picker. And once you set your default apps, that intent will forever be handled permanently through your default application choice.
So this trick is essentially a preventive measure. Set your default applications as soon as you can, if you can, using this method so you avoid having to ever come across any issues with intents being redirected to managed profiles that don't exist.
Plug tablet into PC and open an ADB window and type:
Code:
adb shell am start -a android.intent.action.MAIN
Choose your intent or app. If you run the above code again the last default app chosen in the picker will be the first one you can choose in the box. I have not really fooled around with this yet so I'm not really sure what it's capable of. It would be nice if somebody could report back with the results.

[Huawei GMS] TWOYi open-source alternative to Gspace or VMOS

I dislike the popular replacement solutions for GMS as they aren't open-source and some are full of ads.
The closed-sources software I reffer: SandVXposed / SlimVXposed, VMOS, VPhoneGaga, GSpace and some other variants based on, newer, closed source variant of VirtualApp.
So, here it comes Twoyi.
Twoyi will run a container version of Android, fully editable, a top of existing OS. It's similar to VirtualXposed (same author), only that let you customize OS, support GMS, root, etc. .
The public OSS release variant on Github version is outdated at 0.5.4 and got screen tearing problems.
Latest released version is > 0.7.X can be found in the Chinese CoolApk and works fine.
Don't worry, the menu is in English. You can install GMS from the menu inside the app.
The source is not yet released for latest version.
What lacks is ability to create app shortcut on Home Screen, so you need to open the Twoyi in order to access GPlay or other apps.
Performance comparasion using Geekbench 5: TwoYi - 2281, Native - 2337. The drop is insignifiant.
Tested on Huawei Matepad 10.4, HarmonyOS 2.0, Android 10.
Discussions on Telegram, other media and chat.
This is not my app, and it's still doesn't have a proper OSS for latest version, but at least developer seems to be active.
Still don't recommend to use it for accounts that you want to remain secure.
