Hi Tarkzim,
first of all thank U very much for maintaining this nice little HTC device.. Cause it's hard to find a nice and good working Rom for this smartie..
Besides I have a question apointing the integration of MicroG. Do you have built in 'Signature Spoofing' in this Rom so that the MicroG Service would run on that machine?
If not could you imagine to integrate it? That would be really awesome..
Thanks in advance
Greet's from Berlin

Android 12.1.0_r5 Wifi leads to reboot

checked the logcat and wonder if its the wifi driver issue:
getWifiLinkLayerStats_1_5_Internal (1.1191) failed { .code = ERROR_INVALID_ARGS, .description = }

Hi, I just did a clean install of the 20220515 build of 19.1. with NikGapps. Installation went fine and I can connect via WiFi. Unfortunately it won't recognice my SIM-card and won't connect (SIM-Card is grayed out, so is "Calls & SMS"). So no calls or SMS possible.
I'm on german carrier ALDI-Talk over O2.
Last working version was 20211006 for 18.1.
Edit: The phone is also doing random reboots after a few minutes for no reason.

Just tested the new build: lineage-19.1-20220613-UNOFFICIAL-hiae.zip.
During initial setup it recognizes MEDION-Mobile (german carrier ALDI-Talk via O2) but wants me to change sim card. No calls or SMS possible. After reboot SIM-Card + "Calls & SMS" is again grayed out, just like with the previous build.
In this state 19.1 is unusable for me and 18.1 20211006 is the only build that works.
@tarkzim Is there some kind of report that I could send you to help you figure out what the issue might be?

The very intention behind starting a new thread was to provide continued support. Noticed that LOS didn't receive as much support on whyred as other ROMs. And whyred is my secondary device. So I can easily test new builds and upload.

Do You have some guide for building this ROM and if You have is it possible to share this?
I would like to try build myself something like this so that i can include or exclude something from ROM.
Thank You in advance and i'm sorry if i ask something stupid or inappropriate!

There's build information on the Lineage wiki, it's not entirely straightforward but it's not too tough either. It will take a load of disk space though, 100+GB
https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/whyred/build
I'm not sure how you'd go about pulling in the code for this specific build... git clone in the appropriate location i guess
For anyone wondering, I've flashed this over Kapiljhajhria's build and it booted fine, all seems to be working nicely.
edit: I spoke too soon, finger print enrolment isn't working
when changing Network Mode (3G->2G) in System Profiles, do you get any crashes or errors?

thank you
I've seen this crash/error in all LOS (and LOS-based) 15-16 ROMs I've tried, but still hope to find one without it
and one more question
in LOS 15 there is no circle style battery, but this visual stile was promised to come back in LOS 16
is it present in this ROM?
I can not configure the fingerprint in the startup configuration or later in confuration, I get an error when it's about to finish making the fingerprint
İs fingerprint working now ?
So fingerprint enrollment is working now. Just checking out a few more thing to make sure I haven't broken more stuff.
Build will be up soon
is it possible to add WiFi MAC Randomization from?

Download the latest build
Reboot to recovery
Flash the latest build
Reboot
Downloads :
Official TWRP : Official TWRP
ROM : LineageOS OFFICIAL
OpenGapps : Opengapps
Notes :
Only clean installation please
Bug Report without logs means nothing
No stable gapps package is available as of now for Android 10
Encryption works and it's forced as FBE. This means you need to format your /data partition if you are unencrypted or encrypted with FDE, right before booting into the ROM.
SafetyNet doesn't pass as of now (Blame Google for that) and I'm not going to include any hack to make it pass
Magisk works but no support for it is officially provided
Reporting Bugs :
DO NOT Report bugs if you installed Xposed or weird magisk modules
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

At the moment Lineage OS 17 is an unofficial rom [not created by the OG team that works on Lineage OS]. It will take a good couple months before we start seeing official devices with Lineage OS 17 from past experience.
---------- Post added at 03:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:21 PM ----------
Thank you for taking the initiative to create a Android 10 rom for this device. It should help streamline the development of other android 10 roms for this device. Although it will still take quite a lot of time and effort to get this rom and future roms up to a stable build like any other new android release. Thanks once again.
thank you so much for supporting Tulip

Gapps?
Multi resume feature of android 10 works? (with split screen)
Like this: https://www.xda-developers.com/android-q-splitscreen-multitasking-multi-resume/
But I want to know for games, like 2 games running at the same time, not one paused and the other one running.
Just flashed this rom yesterday, overall pretty good.
Hotspot didn't work for me, but the rest is working fine so far
Oh, since opengaaps still dont provide gaaps for 10, i tried Bitgaaps Q and a got a bootloop.
(Not a big deal, cuz this rom still on alpha stage)
But anyway, Thank you dev for bringing latest android on this device
Still doesn't boot up

Introduction
LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10 (Q), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Thank you for building a Q ROM for a device so old! Though I was wondering what your main focus would be, your Android Pie ROM or Android 10 one? Or are you going to build them side by side?

LineageOS for Nokia 7.1
About LineageOS
LineageOS is a free and open-source operating system for set-top boxes, smartphones and tablet computers, based on the Android mobile platform. It is the successor to the custom ROM CyanogenMod, from which it was forked in December 2016 when Cyanogen Inc. announced it was discontinuing development and shut down the infrastructure behind the project. Since Cyanogen Inc. retained the rights to the Cyanogen name, the project rebranded its fork as LineageOS.
LineageOS was officially launched on December 24, 2016, with the source code available on GitHub. Since that time, LineageOS development builds now cover more than 185 phone models with over 1.9 million active installs,having doubled its user base in the month February–March 2017 And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Hm.. intresting
Main reason behind the bugs is
Recently Nokia 7.1 Snapdragon 636 handset received Android Q update named with 4.08B & i used the vendor from that . So my job is only system & boot so blame Nokia to fix that mic bug which is related to vendor.img
Hi, this looks great! I haven't used a custom rim for a while, mostly as I was looking for something more stable and with the best possible camera quality. However, I'm struggling with stability of the stock rom after android 10 update.
Is camera quality in lineage the same as stock rom?
Is this stable enough to be day to day phone?
Is this unrooted by default? Or easy to unroot? Worried about app compatibility.
Thanks for your help and development!
Works great, only no bluetooth audio
Just flashed the latest version to my 7.1.
First try many things didn't work (wifi, sim, etc.). I think this was connected to twrp not installing correctly or something. After installing again, it works great.
Screenshot on imgur /dAiYMl0 (i can't post links)
One (I think) bug: bluetooth audio doesn't seem to work. The device connects, but there's no sound. Tried with different headphones.
One other issue: wired headphones don't seem to work for calls. They do work for music etc.
Changelog - 25-01-2020
Note - clean flash recommended
* January security patch
* Disabled force encryption
* Compiled using legacy
* Linux version 4.4.194 ( Black caps edition ) based on Official stock kernel sources 4.10C & compiled using clang 9.0.3
* Fixed mic bug during calls via headphones
* Comes with 410C vendor.img
* Added OTA Support
@Raghu varma awesome work, thank you! Shame the bootloader unlock procedure is not yet straight-forward enough so more people can enjoy it.
NFC issue
Hello, everything looks good, but NFC is not working on my Nokia 7.1 device anymore. Is there any way on how to resurrect it?

Can anyone confirm whether the slow fingerprint issue has been fixed or not?

Can anybody tell me please, is cts passed? Google Pay work it? Without or only with Magisk?

even if it works soon it won't be so used to the important thing that nothing changes!
