I'm looking for the latest version of MTCBackView - MTCD Android Head Units Q&A

I'm looking for the latest version of MTCBackView
I have Media Eresin with PX5 with Android 9 for Dacia/Renault and I use the built-in application without any problems. But there is no support for any visualization settings. The parking lines are static and do not move. I need a correction because they are very deep. I had found such an application here in the forum, but it is not installed on my media. Is there a newer version of the app with more features to work with my device?

You can try this file, back up the original if it won't work to roll it back.
1. Download the MTCBackView.apk file
2. Make a Root
3. Launch Root Explorer
4. Copy and replace the MTCBackView.apk file to the device via Root Explorer in the / system / app / MTCBackView / folder
5. Restart!
6. Switch on the parking lines in the settings.
7. Engage reverse gear and adjust the lines according to your car.

Beware the mistake I put HTCBackView now fixed on MTCBackView.

[HOW TO]Turn off camera shutter sound

Many of you know that for some legal stupid reasons you cannot disable the shutter sound on your camera (on galaxy s2 you can do that by putting your phone on silent mode).
Anyway, here's how to do it:
You have two options, one where you must work with a file manager and your favourite DB editor on your PC, and one where you can use any DB editor on the Play Store and do it manually directly on your phone.
WARNING: Your phone must be ROOTED in order to pull files from the system folder.
Here's the explanation on how to edit Volume.db with a file manager and a db editor on PC:
1. Download SQLite Database Browser (download link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/sqlitebrowser/ )
2. Get a file manager (I have root explorer on my phone) on your phone that can access system folder on your internal sdcard.
3. With the file manager, go to system\etc and copy Volume.db to your sdcard or external sdcard.
4. Move the Volume.db from your phone to your PC and open it with SQLite Database Browser which you just downloaded.
5. Browse to the tab "Browse data" and modify SHUTTER 1, AUTOFOCUS, CAMCORDING, SHUTTER 2, SHUTTER 3 values to 0.
If you don't know how, here's a picture: http://i.imgur.com/K9L9xui.png
6. Save the file Volume.db, put it back on your sdcard on the phone and with the file manager replace the original Volume.db in system\etc.
7. Restart your phone (this is important).
Bonus: You can also put 0 value to BOOT SOUND and you won't hear that stupid sound play when you turn on your phone.

Hey guy we can directly MUTE the camera shutter by simply changing our profile to silent. BTW It feels good that people have started development for our S II PLUS. KEEP IT UP:good:
Well, I did that and it didn't work. The sound was still there even if I set my profile on vibrate or mute.

How To Hide Media Files from Android Phone’s Gallery

1. Open your favorite file manager ( eg: es file explorer)
2.Find the specific folder (or album) that you want to be hidden from your android phone’s gallery.
3.Tap rename and put a .(dot) in front of the folder name (with no spaces).( eg: .video )

[App][File]FV File Explorer, full featured file manager by fooView

4 Years ago, I began to develop fooView, a productivity app to be simple for using the Android phones.
(You might check the background here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-fooview-alpha-im-t3326901)
Still many users ask me for a simple file manager like ES File Explorer, and they don't want other features such as floating, etc.
Today I extract a new file manager from fooView, it works as a normal file manager, without asking for floating and other permissions, for you.
Download FV File Explorer on Google Play.
one of the best innovation file explorer app, keep good work!
V1.4.0 2019.11.04 Changelog:
1. Compatibility:
-- Update To Android 9.0 API
-- Work With Android Q Release
2. Themes:
-- You Can Set Or Download Themes From Recommendation Menu Or Themes Menu
-- Add Blackgolden Theme
-- Add Blue Theme
-- Add Plasticine Theme
3. File:
-- Improve Webdav Implementation
-- Optimize Samba Plugin
-- Separated from fooView and first released
4. Many Minor Improvements
@fvalpha
I still use an older version of ES File Explorer. Thanks for that.
Now coming to FV File Explorer, I have just discovered it and installed it. Is there any explanation/guide to use it? I am not able to find the cut/paste/move option. The property option when an app is selected, takes me to the Settings in the ROM and doesn't give me the option to set permissions like 755 etc. (which is available in ES).
Any pointers?

Thanks. For moving files, according to recent years trends, FV uses moveto style, without using the clipboard to transfer files. Just select files and choose moveto/copyto.
For change file permissions, enable "root explorer" from the advanced settings in settings first.

4 ways to move files to Android/data or Android/obb if your Android OS doesn't allow you to

Update (February 7, 2023)
Get the latest version of MixPlorer for Android 13 which was released a few days ago. Allow it to access data and obb folders. It's the only File Manager app that can access them right now.
Method 1-
• Download and install Files by Google
• Tap and hold on it, go to app info, allow the app to modify system settings
• Open the app, copy your game/app obb or data file to the Android folder inside your device storage. Then move it to obb or data folder on Android.
Method 2-
• Download and install Mixplorer by Hootan Parsha.
• Tap and hold on it, go to app info, allow the app to modify system settings
• Open the app, copy your game/app obb or data file to the Android/data or Android/obb folder inside your device storage. The app will ask you to choose the folder you want to modify. Simply open and select Android folder.
• Now you can copy/move without any hassle
Method 3 (requires root) -
• Download and install Root Explorer.
• Tap and hold on it, go to app info, allow the app to modify system settings
• Open the app, copy your game/app obb or data file to the Android/data or Android/obb folder inside your device storage. It will ask write permission on the app, press okay.
• Then it will ask root permission. Grant it and you're good to go.
Method 4 (requires a custom recovery) -
• Reboot to TWRP, PitchBlack, OrangeFox
• Go to settings - mount and tick system
• Now go to recovery file manager, navigate to your file, tap or it or press and hold to get the options, then copy/paste it to Android/data or Android/obb
• Reboot
I know it's a really basic tutorial for a lot but the more people know the better.
Good day, update!
Method 1, ist kaput.
Does not work. Recognizes Android folder ONLY AND if you copy to it, it rejects your copy or move.
Method 2, failed as well
Don t know how to implement 3 n 4
On Samsung devices and others with android 12 and newest, simply doesn't work any method without root, even when u have app that is asking for permission to have access to copy or do something with android folder, because even with that kind of app your every next move is handled by samsung app, so needless to say, u need to do a root...

[Tutorial] [Root] [Samsung] How to stop apps being closed automatically on Samsung devices

Hello,
I recently discovered a way to disable automatically closing apps on Samsung Galaxy devices. This is especially useful for apps such as battery monitoring or fake GPS location apps.
I tested this on my Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, it should work on other models, however I cannot guarantee this. Despite this, it doesn't hurt to try!
First off let's talk a little why this happens. If you have multiple apps open at once, the OS will attempt to close some to free up resource when not currently in use, especially if the apps have not been interacted with for a while since they were last opened. This is normal behaviour, however you may have something like a battery monitoring app (e.g. AccuBattery) that you never want to be terminated. So let's try achieve this.
There's two core parts to this process. You need root for both of these (Magisk).
Part 1
Requirements:
Root file explorer (e.g. Total Commander)
A text file editor (PC is easiest. If you decide to use PC, use a USB transfer cable)
Guide:
On the root file explorer, navigate to /system/etc
Make a copy of floating_feature.xml. Make a second copy to preserve original contents in case things go wrong. If this file doesn't exist, you can't use this method.
Open it in the text editor of your choice (transfer to PC if needed)
Search for this in the file: <SEC_FLOATING_FEATURE_DWB_CONFIG_UNSUSPENDABLE_PACKAGE_NAME>
If it doesn't exist, create it like this: <SEC_FLOATING_FEATURE_DWB_CONFIG_UNSUSPENDABLE_PACKAGE_NAME> </SEC_FLOATING_FEATURE_DWB_CONFIG_UNSUSPENDABLE_PACKAGE_NAME>
Add your app's Package Name inside this tag. For example AccuBattery would be 'com.digibites.accubattery' so the result value would be <SEC_FLOATING_FEATURE_DWB_CONFIG_UNSUSPENDABLE_PACKAGE_NAME>com.digibites.accubattery</SEC_FLOATING_FEATURE_DWB_CONFIG_UNSUSPENDABLE_PACKAGE_NAME> assuming it didn't already exist. If it does exist, add a semi colon ; to the last entry and append the value to the end
Save the file and use your root file explorer to replace the original floating_feature.xml file
Reboot your phone
Part 2
Requirements:
Magisk
Command line interface with root (e.g. Termux)
Guide:
Download and install the App Systemizer Magisk Module
Reboot your phone
Open your command line interface and enable Superuser mode (in Termux this is 'su')
Enter 'systemize' in your command line interface and follow the instructions to systemize the desired app
Reboot your phone
Summary
You'll need to reapply this process whenever you update your phone software. It's a relatively simple process though. I'll be interested to see how successful this is for others so feel free to provide feedback and findings.
Hope this helps!
