I've always found root explorer works for me, even the non root version which I'm currently using is very good.
Easy UI layout.

Hi Guys I would like to check with you guys some general questions about android phones:
-Is it suspicious if a APK file has more than 1 .dex file or is it just uncommon?
-Are there any specific file types which is often used by android malware?
-Are there any specific files in the APK which is commonly used for hiding malware in it?
Thanks for any help in advance!
Hi I became a new member after reading on this forum how to root my HTC one. My question today is, does anyone know how to remove ads from android app made by andromo as I followed instructions on this board but there is no ads folder where it was stated to be located (smali/com/Google) folder.

Hi, I don't understand what do you want to do, but if you want to remove ads on android you can use apps like adaway or adblock (you need to be rooted) or you need to modify your hosts file like here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1916098.
Thanks for help but I want to remove the ads from app I made with andromo app maker not just block the adds on my phone itself with another app.
I did find an ads folder in (smali/com/Google/android) folder but after recompiling it reappears.
I am using xolo a700.
freedom was working fine on stock rom but when i installed fusion blast rom it gets stuck in installing everytime.
I used root explorer to take a look what is happeing.
i found:
1. classes.dex is present in /data/dalvik-cache.
2. data/app dir contains apk file.
3. data/data/*app folder is empty.
can anyone tell what is happening ?
Hi,
Unfortunately there isn't a device specific forum for you to go to but there does appear to be plenty of posts about your phone in the general q&a forum found here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help
This would be a good place to ask, otherwise I found a roundup of available ROMs for you here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2466757
Maybe it will work with one of the others
Best of luck!
Hello:
Please can anyone give me the direct link to the download of the MiSplorer file manager/explorer.
I am made to understand that it is an app from the XBA Developers.
The app I also learnt can be used to enable USB OTG on Any Android phone.
Thanks for your help.
