Are you worried about a mole? A skin blemish that's changing color or appearing to grow in size? Scanoma checks your moles, calculates your skin cancer risk and connects you with trained dermatologists for a professional second opinion.
With the power of computer vision and the expertise of licensed medical practitioners, scanoma helps your learn about skin issues and get feedback on worrisome skin problems. Simply snap a picture of your mole and then send it to a scanoma doctor for a checkup.
With scanoma, get a free diagnosis with our AI algorithm trained from thousands of images and get a second opinion from a trained dermatologist from the privacy of your home and using your phone. Detect skin cancer risks today.
Take care of your skin and make sure you get it checked often with scanoma.
DISCLAIMERS:
- Computer vision analysis is never 100% accurate. scanoma tells you if your image looks like a regular mole or skin cancer based on similar images.
- The free scanoma AI exam does not replace physical evaluation of skin cancer by a trained doctor. If in doubt, connect with a dermatologist on scanoma for a second opinion or have your skin issues physically checked by a doctor.
- scanoma works best with clear, unobstructed skin images. At this point scanoma does not work with tattooed skin.
- scanoma works best with push notifications enabled. Make sure scanoma notifications are enabled in your device.
- scanoma is not suitable for skin issues on children. Please see a paediatricians in this case.

Interesting. I've scanned a (known safe) and a second mole / blemish that I'm concerned about. The first was rated 95% safe, the second was rated 62% safe. I already had a booking to see my skin specialist, tomorrow. (I live in Australia, where we keep melanoma as pets.) (THAT WAS MORBID HUMOUR, keep your pants on. Oh, and wear a hat.) At 60 years of age, having stuff chopped, sprayed, etc is a routine.

LOL!!!
from the app I learned that non-melanoma skin cancers are the most common cancers in Australia, however most are not life-threatening.

Hi guys,
Besides of that I work ocasionally on some interesting project I am also healer who does energetic healing. My new project is based on both technologies. I was thinking of how about to connect the healing energies and our beautifull devices and get out of it as much as possible. And came to interesting idea…
From time to time we all suffer from annoying sindrom called stress. Well, I did extensive research on what causes it on energetic level of the body and included my findings in the application that came out of it.
The result is apk, very simple to use yet very effective in stress removal. I named it Virtual Stress Remover and all that needs to be done before the use is to settle in a quiet place, relax as much as possible, press the button, set the intention (focus) of thoughts to internal bodies environment (best at belly button area) and close your eyes for next ten minutes.
During and after that period you will experience you will experience release of tensions, preasures, contractions etc. in your mind and body physiology, your thoughts will become clearer and brighter, there will be more peace in your psyche and body etc.
First use of the service is trial and is fully functional, all additional uses are payable via PayPal mobile library. The more you use the service the more your body will learn how to do it by it self, so after a certain time your body will be equipped with adequate knowlede and skills to release it. Knowledge and skills of doing it can not be tought by books, it is experiential learning in fashion learning by doing.
You can read more about it here: Mod Edit: Links Removed what actually happens in bodies vibrations describing the condition.

Greetings fellows
I've created an app that might just solve your everlasting battle with privacy, or something of that effect.
Are you afraid your phone or tablet might be stolen or is your little brother, annoying friend or perhaps untrusting girlfriend snooping around your phone behind your back? Do they even continue to say that they're innocent of this horrendous privacy infringement? Then download CrookCatcher and bust them on the spot! A photo and location will be sent to your email when intruders are caught trying to unlock your phone. Stick the awkward selfie up in their face, and I can almost guarantee that their nose will stop "growing" at once.
Features
• Take photo with the front facing camera on incorrect unlock attempt
• You select the number of failed unlock attempts before CrookCatcher takes action
• Find location of device
• Receive email notification with photo and location
• Uses the default Android Lock Screen
• No services running in the background = little to no impact on battery
• Browse photos with location on the device, with (what I think is) an intuitive interface.
The Concept
... is not entirely new, several apps doing somewhat the same already exists in Google Play. I, however, found these to either be build on a jerky design that was hard to comprehend and navigate, or I found them too expensive - and that is why I created CrookCatcher.
CrookCatcher is namely, designed to be simplistic and easy to figure out. A setup guide is build into the app, which lets you set the few things necessary up with ease and speed. And, best of all. CrookCatcher is free, and no, that doesn't mean ads instead. CrookCatcher is free to use. If you like the app, if the app has even helped you retrieve your stolen phone or tablet, and you want to show your appreciation, you can make a donation from within the app to help support a hungry nerd and keep development going.
Get it on Google Play https://play.google.com/store/...
Check out the accompanying website: http://jakobharteg.com/crookcatcher.html
Cheers, Jakob
Despite the name, it is not a game about mice who enjoy living in researchers' coat pockets.
From the store description:
This is, for now, a pretty basic application that does only one thing:
help you perform a manual white blood cells count (aka "CBC”)
Peering into a microscope, you tap large buttons to increment neutrophil, lymphocyte, etc. counts.
When you reach 100, the app warns you and you can choose to continue for a more precise count or use the current numbers.
The app comes with a global ‘Undo’ function to go back as many taps as you wish.
I may add more features to this app, beyond CBC, as requested by my S.O.
I will likely add preferences as well; for instance to change feedback sounds, add vibrations, etc.

Hmm, interesting.
This could be useful for me, as I do manual counting of bacteria on plates.
I also do Yeast, Mold, Spore counting... as well as hospital Air Vacuum Cells.
Not sure if I'm allowed to use this App (there's a No Phone Policy here).
But here's one feedback I can give you:
- Make the columns customizable.
So that I can change the text for Eosinophil to Cladosporidium etc etc.
This way it can cover many laboratory functions, not just blood cells.
It'll be a true "White Coat Buddy".
; )
CSF cell count on a burker/fuch-R camera!
ideas:
on preferences select what cells to show in counting screen (maybe only interested in mononuclear/poly nuclear)
IMHO Should show %distribution after 100 counted cells (or 50 if defined in preferences)

I think some homebrewers would be interested in this kind of app for counting yeast and/or bacteria for plating cultures and stuff. I don't personally do this, but I can see value in it for more than just blood samples. I'm going to share this with HomeBrewFinds.com if you don't mind.

Definitely solid suggestions all around!
OK, I definitely need to put something behind that 'Settings' icon now
Follow the advice of the moon.
The software “Garden calendar” contains recommendations for everyday handling of plants according to the phase of the Moon. Different phases of the Moon have different influence with plants. By using the software you will be able to tend plants properly according to the forces of nature. For example, during waning moon roots are very hurtable, so this is not a good time for transplanting.
Moreover, software recommendations take into account position of the Moon towards zodiacal constellation.
The software defines favorable days for garden activity: days for planting, watering, weeding and many other activities.
The most distinctive feature of this calendar (unlike any of other calendars existed on the Internet) is the correction on precession phenomenon. As is well-known, precession phenomenon causes the move of first point of aries towards the Sun by 1degree the 72 years. Approximately 2000 years ago signs of the zodiac and zodiacal constellations almost coincided, but the move by one sign of zodiac (approximately 30degrees) has taken place between now and then. This points to the fact that ordinary lunar calendars go wrong with the position of the Moon in zodiacal constellations. This option is in programme settings.

Not bad
I can see this being funny for a while, I like the design and it works well with the facial recognition. I would only consider not having an ad pop up while the app is opening, but rather when someone goes to view the pic or saves it (only my opinion though), anyway - good job!
