Simple answer, no...
We would need to get some development done to port it to our phones.

It seems that different model numbers need specific roms. You can't flash a 915f rom on my 915G, tried and just get reboots. It is something that stops it working, whether its the CSC, build.prop or bootloader I don't know...
Hello guys,
Currently I´m using OPO alpha LP radio - Baseband: .3.0.c6.5-00007-M8974AAAAANAZM-1 and I´m running the latest version of SlimSaber ROM CM 12.1 + latest version of AK Kernel + MultiROM.

You can update your modem, but you can't use a KitKat modem as they're incompatible with Lollipop. Nobody can recommend one as modem performance varies depending on unique factors like your location. You'll find some here:

Unfortunately you are wrong.I have been using Kitkat modem on Lollipop roms since first Lollipop rom released. Also Sultanxda has a Lollipop rom with 44s modem which is Sep10.But you need to flash sensor fix with Kitkat modem on Lollipop rom, also auto rotation might not be working.Yet if you flash Sultanxda rom mentioned you dont have any of these problems.Pls be advised.

I'm aware of that. But it isn't advisable because it can cause other problems.

First of all thanks both for your help, after a long weekend outside home I read today your answers and I have a question, following the link that you provided to me, what modem package should I download to start trying modems if I´m using a 5.1.1 ROM? Maybe this link is for me Full-CM12-16.02.15-modem-flashable.zip ?
Also for flash a new modem I just need to flash it through recovery right?
Thanks in advance.

That one is fine, and so are the top two (they're more recent too).
Hi there
I'm having problems with radio (poor data reception and wifi problems). I thought on upgrade radio firmware (currently DI.3.0.c6-00230-M8974AAAAANAZM-1 with latest update YOG4PAS1N0) but i wonder if the radio firmware is downgradeable or it's locked (like iphone does).
Thanks!

Hey, everyone,
I just bought a new Mate 9 Lite [BLL-L23] and would like some help with how to make it my own. I am familiar with other devices - but, not the BLL-L23.
I am very appreciative, my friends! Here's what I'd like to know:
1. Does anyone know when we'll get Android Oreo (or, at the least, Android Nougat)?
-- I am currently running 6.0; EMUI 4.1.
2. Is there an official support forum for the BLL-L23?
3. Does anyone know how to root the BLL-L23 using Magisk or Chainfire (which is better)?
4. Is there a recent TWRP recovery available?
5. What else should I do to take full advantage of my device?
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR EVERYTHING, EVERYONE!

I am currently downloading the latest full firmware, and I know it's not a problem to install it - but, when I check the Firmware Status, it says that the firmware is not approved for installation. Is there still a way to install it? What does this mean? Thank you very much, PalakMi ?

Mate 9 Lite is a rebranded H6x, OpenKirin's TWRP works fine. You can also use Firmware Finder for updating. Magisk works fine too. I think all Custom ROMs on this forum should work. I'm planning to flash RROS but I'm waiting for some bugfixes.
The only thing I suggest you is, if you want to update your Stock ROM, you MUST flash the right ROM for your device.

Hello,
Just got the RN7P from china and I was wondering where can I find the Indian stock ROM (a.k.a. Global ROM)?
Also I live in the EU and from what I've read with the new MIUI 10.3 we will have EU ROM as well?? Is it out yet?
Can't find anything on both my questions in the ROM section of the forum.
Thank you in advance!
Yes we have got Eu ROM too. Here is the thread for it-

Hi, thank you very much for the provided links. I think it would make things easier, if there are threads created in the ROM&Karnel section for this phone.
What are the main difference between the stable and the developer version of the ROM? Do you get updates if you use the Developer version? Any know bugs?
What about the India Stock ROM? Is it possible to get that one as well?
Thanks in advance
Indian Rom and some info related on the whole thread.

If you flash with miflash (which wipes everything) you can update with system updater. if you flash via TWRP you have to update manually . The beta will be having little more features and there are no major known bugs. I would suggest you stick with EU rom rather than Global(Indian) version.

Thank you for the reply, I will most certainly give the EU a try. One last thing - will both Stable and Developer ROMs get frequent updates? Regarding to MIUI / Android ?? And are those updates pushed vie OTA or do you need to manually flash them?
Thank you again in advance!

Yes, Both will be getting updates. If you flash it through miflash you can update it via OTA else you have to flash it through twrp.
Hi,
Apart from OTA updates, is there any other significant needing on Flash with TWRP instead of MiFlash?
Thank you

Hello XDA forums,
I've recently required a global version of the mi 10 ultra after a phone swap. I'm not flash/bootloading/ROM toting gunslinger and have no clue about this software installed on the phone called TWRP.
From my research I've found it's a bootloader that allows the device to be used in other countries and gives access to Google play store.
But I just wondered whether going back to stock is an option, and if so, would that present any issues i.e. lose assess to play store.
If there is a simplified guide or any guide in general I'd be more than happy to look at it
Kind regards

Thank you for clarifying that for me having spoke to someone via the Xiaomi forums, they stated that it is used on the mi 10 ultra to by pass the Chinese stock ROM and allow Google play store.
The thing I'm lost about is what ROM am I currently using and how do I update it? Would you be able to direct me to some information to troubleshoot this?
Kind regards,

Basically Yes, you will lose access to the playstore as China does not allow it on their phones. The 10 ultra's sold to people outside of China had a cutdown version of Google services put on but it did not have location history or find phone and other parts. If you do go back to stock Chinese, you can find playstore app in their version of appstore and if you install it, you can get full Google services again.
If you have the Xiaomi EU ROM installed and you live outside of China, then that version is your best bet. It comes in 2 versions, weekly or stable and both are still updated, so make your choice, stock ROM is available here.. http:/mifirm.net and do a search for cas or mi 10 ultra and install the latest fastboot or recovery ROM if you have twrp recovery installed ( you probably will if you have the EU ROM) or pop over the Xiaomi EU forum for the latest info here.. https://xiaomi.eu/community/forums/xiaomi-mi-10-pro-10lite-ultra-10t-pro-lite-10s.204/ and here for the weekly ROM.. https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/miui-12-0-12-1-12-2-12-5-stable-release.56191/ and the weekly ROM here.. https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/21-6-16-17.61822/ .
All the info on twrp and the ROMs are on the Xiaomi EU forum but there is lots of help and advice here once you make your choice of where you want to go. The 10 Ultra is a dam good phone with the latest EU ROM installed.
