Now I know this is a forum of htc phones but I was wondering if anybody could help me extract the rom from an update file. I've tried every conceivable way to get a full rom out of the exe but I can only get as far as extracting the bin but cant get into the bin. Can anybody shed some light onto this please and thank you!

Hi XDA people! I am very new here and I created an account solely for the purpose of asking any kind stranger out here if you can send me one of your Global Fastboot ROMs for the Xiaomi Mi 4i? Any stable version would do. If you have the latest, i'd prefer that one. I recently installed an OTA update and the phone is now stuck in bootloop and I can't get the recovery mode to work. My name is Cistler, and i have a Chinese MTK6580 Goophone i7 Plus. And i want to make a custom version of the CopperheadOS rom for this phone.
But because i have very little experince in the android programming.
I don't think its smart to just try something, because then i will end up with a bricked phone.
So if anybody is interessted to help me with this project, and learn me how this works i would be very grateful.
So anybody who is enthusiastic about this idea and knows how this can be done please hit me up in my mailbox.

Hi anybody help me? I want to port fitrefoxos to my p8 lite huawei. How can i do that? Im using linux os on my pc and im found mozilla websit but i dont know how to do this. Thanks for helping me.
