Honestly, i don´t know anything about xda, or on how to find something on here, so i guess i´ll have to ask:
Do you know any downloadable custom rom for the Samsung Galaxy A5 2015 (SM-A500FU)?
I found one by DeadSquirrel and someone else via google, but either do they not work, spit out error 7 in TWRP, or aren´t available for download anymore.

At goo.gl/sZukOE i dont understand much (chinese), at needrom.com unfortunately there is no omega roms.

As some of you might be aware of, in Brazil Samsung sells the model GT-S6313T under the acronym of Galaxy Young TV Duos, with dual chip support and Digital TV reception functionalities. I happen to have one of those phones and was wondering whether it could be possible to use any custom ROM in it, such as the one for S6310 for instance. Have you ever had any experience in that?

You can install any Young Duos (S6312) ROM, TV patch, and it will work like a charm
I don't have experience with S6310 ROMs. Anyway, I imagine that it will work, but may have some (few) bugs
I hope that you are right! I got recently the brazilian version of the Samsung Young Duos called " S6293T " as a gift. But it is really slow and I would like to root and custom rom it. Do you or anyone else have a suggestion which programms from which phone models i could use safely? Because apparently the "S6293T " model does not exist here

Hi @MiskoMKT
Your model is called Samsung Galaxy Young Plus TV. I don't know if a S6312 ROM will work in your device. If you really really know what you're doing, you can make a test, and revert things back if anything goes wrong. But if you have doubts, or don't have experience with installing custom ROMs, I highly recommend you to don't install S6312 ROM in your S6293T, as you can lose your device.

Rooting should be fairly easy if you have a custom Recovery, but I don't know about any Software upgrades..

That is my problem, finding a custom ROM which is suitable for my type of phone. It seems barely impossible after LONG research and feel that this phone has some extra power inside, where just the right kernel+custom rom input is missing..

I could maybe look at creating a recovery for you if I have time left but I can't do more, as I require the phone to do more work with it..

As the title says. Ive searched and not found the above brand of phone in the forums. could one of the more clever than me people redirect this post to where it should go? Im just looking to get the root in so I can delete the crapware google loads on it. no reflashing stock or whatever its called. the phone has android 5.0.

Hello everyone,
I am not sure what the full name of my Huawei phone is. I actually purchased it for my mother as a birthday present as she had a phone older than this one. The only thing I see when it boots up is "Huawei Ascend". When I go to the "About" section of this phone, it says "Huawei mt1-u06". Is this the Huawei Ascend Mate? Or Huawei Ascend 1? Not sure. Some clarification would be appreciated greatly.
Also, since the phone is running android 4.1.2 (jellybean) I was wondering if someone can provide a link to a cyanogen mod that's exactly for this phone so I could put a newer Android OS on her phone and so that it looks a little newer.

I googled "Huawei mt1-u06" and i found that you have the Huawei Ascend Mate.
I also googled "mt1-u06 cm11" and found this thread here:

Hi, thank you so much for replying. I did the search and got the model number but wasn't sure if it's the Hussein Ascend or a Mate. I will look at the threads you provided. Hopefully that link will help me put some mod on it so it looks more updates. I'd love nothing more. Thank you beyond for guiding me somewhere. I'm a newbie beyond belief.

Thank you SO much, you rock. After reading a bit about how to install that rom, it says that the bootloader needs to be unlocked. Not sure what that is but I will learn eventually. Was just wondering if you might happen to have a link to (perhaps) a tutorial on how I can do this? I searched on here but can't find it. I'm not that tech-savy, apologize. Thanks you again.

i recommend you search more and find a better way to do it, or maybe ask in the ROM thread and someone might guide you.

I only found support, for the PRO version.
