[CLOSED]Which ROM thread for Galaxy Halo J727AZ - Samsung Galaxy J7 Questions & Answers

I am looking for an updated custom ROM for this device but I am not sure which of these threads I should be asking that question. I am looking for one that is practically bug free and updated as much as possible for the Galaxy Halo J727AZ

@Ryu945
I've moved this thread out of the development section, for which it didn't qualify. Please note the stuck guidance at the top of eacch section prior to any posting. Additionally, I closed this thread as you've already created a subject matter related one:
Which ROMs are for samsung-sm-j727az (aka Galaxy Halo)
There are a lot of phones with Samsung J7 name. Which custum ROMs are for the samsung-sm-j727az version? (aka Galaxy Halo)

In a few other recently here in General Q&A created threads you stated that your device is the Samsung Galaxy A40. If this help thread by you is also related to that device consider to look for support in the respective device forum:
Samsung Galaxy A40
forum.xda-developers.com
I've already moved your threads to that forum where it was obvious to me that they were A40 related. Just let me know if you want this thread also to be moved.

General Let's request GPLv2 sources to Lenovo.

Hello. First time posting it here on this forum.
I myself am a person who had worked some time on Android development.
Recently bought the P11, it's a nice hardware. However, the kernel source lenovo provided is outdated, and is for a much older version of the firmware. (Not compatible properly with latest bootloader)
forums(dot)lenovo(dot)com /t5/Lenovo-Android-based-Tablets-and-Phablets/Lenovo-Tab-P11-Wi-Fi-TB-J606F-0906-Kernel-Source/m-p/5104709
This is a post that I had recently written on their forum, complaining about not releasing the kernel source code of the newest firmware. (Including Android 11 firmware and 0906 Android 10 firmware)
I am unable to get any reply from them further. I believe that it would be probably be better if we @ XDA would post about these a lot on the Lenovo forum so that they would recognize the importance and finally release the proper and newest one(s).
Thanks, and if any informations needed please let me know

I downloaded the official firmware, and extracted it from lz4, then I extracted the system.img file in it and tried to delete and repackage the files I didn't want,
and somehow I made system.img.lz4 again and put it in the AP file with the bootloader unlocked on my s10e with odin I flashed it.
but when it comes to the system.img section, the flashing does not progress,
it stays like that for hours. where am i doing wrong?
Could you help?

j7 prime password lock problem

After the "Custom binary blocked by fap lock" error, we were able to solve the problem without resetting the information on the phone, but after that, the phone was unlocked: enter the password to restart your device. but I forgot my password, I made 25 attempts and now I have 5 attempts. how can we remove this password now?

I think I violated the rules. I'm a new member on your site and I don't know English, I understand as much as I can from translation. I think I will get used to the rules and the site as time goes on. thanks

@Teodis No, no. Don't think that. You just posted in a wrong forum; I assume because you didn't search and didn't read prior to posting. But I'm convinced that will improve. Have a nice stay on XDA.
