Question Phone Notification when Watch is Low Battery? 20-25% - Samsung Galaxy Watch 4

Is there a way for my PHONE to notify me when my watch battery is under 20%-25%, set maualy the procent.
Not every time wear my watch, any somtime is discharging to 0, an app to notiffy me on my phone is very good.

Haven't seen anything, but would be good feature to have...

I hope a developer sees the requirement
I am willing to pay for the application

It’s not an App, but the functionality you mentioned is possibly with a combination of Watchmaker Watch-Face + Lua-Script and a Tasker-Task. But this is only a workaround or very special use case

It is a good idea. I am not sure why the WEAR app doesn't support it. I suppose they assume you will notice the watch, itself, notifying you. But it only does that when it is REALLY low and asks to switch to low power mode. Plus, doesn't help if you have your watch off your body at the time.

App idea to help with battery life.

G'day,
Like a few others on here, I have the issue where the bezel moves at night and turns on the screen....annoying, and I'd like to extend the battery life as much as possible.
Was wondering if anyone knows of an app with multiple settings like the following:
1. Set it so that the AOD watchface, is not AO. Have it so it only comes on with that wrist action. There is no point to it being on when you aren't looking at it.
2. To see your 'real' watch face, you need to press a button or turn bezel, unless in 'do not disturb' mode. Then a button press is needed.
Having to change your watch face to a dull one, or turning down the brightness etc, defeats the purpose of the watch. But these simple changes would increase battery life, and elimiate the watch face coming on in DND mode with just a brush on the bezel.

watchmaker battery drain

I have big concerns of consumption of battery with this application
Am I the only one?
You have can be trick?
Thank you
Some watch faces are too bright or consume too much battery in their always-on state. Try a watch face that has a dimmer always-on state, or take your favourite watch faces, and change their always-on state to have higher opacity.
I made a dial I same, quite black
I am going to try a reset of the watch, seen that nobody confirms me the same problem
I use this app(watchmaker) and consumption with always on display is approximately 25/30 % per day.
Wifi is switched off , Bluetooth used when needed.

Either some functionality on your watch is disabled or something is wrong here. No way, watchmaker can beat stock watchface. I loose 45-55 percent a day with stock gear dashboard watchface. AOD, wake-up gesture, shealth features and bluetooth on. Wifi auto. NFC, bt connection notifications off. Using GPS occasionally. Without AOD i can easily get 3 and a half day. I've never saw anyone claim to can get more than 2 days with AOD on on the forum before, so this is really confusing.
You can believe or not, but for me the battery consumption with watchmaker is lower than with stock Watchface. it is also true that some Watchface consume a little more, but we are talking about up to 10% more per day, i start to use Watch at 10am and remove Watch at 23pm,all' shealt notification on,wifi off,gps off, Bluetooth when needed,AOD always on,screen brightness 7. When use stock Watchface i lose 45/55% of battery per day.
I think I may have worked out what is going wrong, perhaps one of the developers can confirm,
under ‘my watches’ I have a number of other whatchfaces that I have downloaded, these aren’t selected on my watch but are there as an option, where as the chosen one only has basic functions, the others all have fancy meters, data sourcing apps - after deleting these from my phone and checking they are not available for selection on my watch the battery life seems to be normal, I wonder if the other watch faces are in some way working in the background and therefore draining the power even though I am not actually viewing them
It is Wi-fi connection what drains LOT of power. Be sure it is turned off when not in use to keep your power as long as possible.

Simple app for orthodox Jews

Hello everybody.
So, I have just purchased a Gear s2. I know it's late, but it finally got cheap enough for me.
There is something I believe to be very simple to develop and very useful for millions of orthodox Jews: We have issues with electricity on Saturdays. Simply put, an app that turns the smartwatch into a dumb watch for either a given period of time, or until one of the buttons is pushed, would do the trick. This means that the time and date would be constantly displayed in the most energy saving manner possible, touch screen and all other sensors on the watch are off, and all connectivity is off as well.
A simple version of the app will allow the user to turn it on and off manually. A more sophisticated version will know by itself when to switch to "dumb watch mode": the times when a user needs his watch to turn dumb are calculated by ancient Jewish calendar and clock. But they are preset and known in advance. There are many apps, programs, calendars add-ons, etc. that already know to calculate those times. Applying such existing plug into the smartwatch would predetermine when it needs to get dumb and when to get smart again, without the users' need to do anything manually.
Can this be programmed?
I think enabling both Airplane Mode and Power Saving Mode may be what you're looking for.

Gear sport persistent heart rate warning

I'm loving my new gear sport especially with the look, speed of operation and battery life for a full colour display due thanks to Tizen ecosystem. I have been looking for ages for some way to have an alarm when my heart rate goes over say 150bpm. I would like it to be persistent until my heart rate drops below that level again. I did find an app called heartby which does pretty much just what I want except for when the screen times out and it no longer sends me alarms. I have tried to contact the developer, but haven't had a reply yet. I understand that the watch isn't meant to be relied on for any medical condition and don't have a heart condition but this would really help me out. Does anybody know of an app which I could use or a system setting that might achieve this. At the moment I use the other workout option in samsung health. I Just changed my age to an age which will give me the maximum heart rate I want as the zones can't be manually set up but it isn't persistent.
After a long period of time, researching all over the internet & talking to Samsung, I now finally have an app that gives me a warning when my heart rate goes over a set amount. I can program the notification value, vibration intensity & amount of vibrations using the gear watch without having to be connected to anything else.
"Heart Rate Graphic" by Igor Cherneyshov is well worth installing on your gear watch. It's even free. If you want heart rate notification, install this app. Been looking since December for this basic feature.
Thx for your answer Fipoly, i am looking for an app measuring low or irregular heart rate, alarming - messaging/calling contacts/assistance....
I use the SOS feature where you press the bottum button x3 with a 5sec countdown. Don't think you'll find an automatic way of doing it. You can user Monitor by appyhapps for low HR but nothing for irregular as the watch isn't accurate enough.
I'm finding HR graphics is chewing up my battery since the tizen 4.0.0.2 update. Hoping for a fix soon.
I need a vibration warning when my heart rate goes over a specified rate. Can you let me know if you find something.
I just found this app and going to try it out. Unfortunately it costs around $1 but don't mind paying for an app that does what we want. I will update this after I've tried it for a while.
HR monitor plus
By Roger van Hout
Unfortunately the app only works while the screen is on with it displayed. It stops monitoring HR when screen is off or app is in background.
Have contacted designers, but no one has emailed me back at this stage
After time, somehow the heart rate graphic app is now working better on my watch. There was no update of the watch or the app but somehow is gone back to the battery usage I used to get. It's a stand alone app on the watch so should and does use less power than others I've tried. I love the customisable amount of vibrations that you get as you know without doubt that your heart rate is too high and will repeat until your heart rate is back to an acceptable value. The only downfall is it doesn't have a minimum heart rate warning but the more I think about it, I realise that I don't really need it myself.
I was able to get a full day out of the watch with the heart rate graphic running. Still don't know why I only got a few hours with the same phone settings and apps running before, so hopefully the problem doesn't come back.
I only bought the watch originally to get a warning when I went tachycardic without having a non watch looking monitor on my wrist or having to wear a chest strap, so was so frustrated until I found heart rate graphic.

Automatic standby mode?

Hi, I apologize if this was posted before but I could not find anything (neither here or on other forums). I have recently bought a Gear S3 (watch) Classic (no LTE) and so far I love it, however I have one question concerning its usage and battery life. I do not wear it when I sleep, and I do not plan to, so I was wondering if there was a way for the watch to detect that I am not wearing it (it's laying on my desk when not charging so it could use the absence of data it recieves from heart rate and movements) and then automatically disables S Health and other functions (except for alarms and maybe phone calls) until I pick it up? I know that there is Power Saving option in the settings, but to manually turn it on and off every day seems like a hassle when I think that it should be able to do it automatically. Is there any way to do that?
Thank you!
It already does detect that you are not wearing it. When that happens it will turn off the screen. Watch also has a "do not disturb" mode which you can turn on on a schedule. This will disable alerts (except alarms) and disable the screen!
Hope this helps!
