Did you manage to make fingerprint work for apps?

I know I'm not in my forums but I did did work for the Motorola 8937/8917 and it shouldn't be too much more than a kernel/kernel modules swap

You need pie or ten, so you already have ten

So I have a question for those who have used this rom and the fork one, Which one is better?!
And by better I mean less buggier?
I'm on the Fork Lineage OS and it's stable but with a few problems, like the Opera browser is laggy sometimes, internet goes down by itself. Instagram doesn't work sometimes etc.

The fork has a few little customisation I got used to, such as the pure black theme. I don't use opera but I have never experienced connection issues in months of intense use. I would suggest a reflash..

Since we have longer no more support for Android Nougat (7) for our beloved mido, I will build every week (or maybe bi-weekly) a new build with new additions from Lineage Community and with latest Security Patches (05/06). For now!

[EMUI 8.0][4.4.29]The Maestro Kernel for GSI/DSSI ROMs

The Maestro Kernel is my first custom kernel to run on EMUI 8.0 ROMs for Kirin65x devices, let's see some features together.
Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
Builds
4.4.29:
TheMaestroKernel-4.4.29.zip
initial build.
remove some Huawei's CPUsets.
Features
Android 4.4.
Based on AOSP-MIRROR source with imported EMUI 8.0 kernel from EMUI 8.0 Prague-AL00_OREO_EMUI8.0_opensource.tar.gz .
Actually there are no "extra" features because of up-streaming that need a lot of time to arrive at 180, so if you are interesting
to brings one of these features just post the patches or made a pull request to my sources, so you have to fork it.
Installation Guide
Download the last kernel source.
Reboot to TWRP.
Install > choose kernel zip patch > Swipe to flash.
Reboot, enjoy.
Note
Modem may not work on recent builds of EMUI so use magiks module to fix it.
Kernel name is not shown in stock EMUI, just on custom roms check my screenshot for the proof.
