As you can see, kernel is in first stage of development. At the moment is just upstreamed with some customization(see changelog). Test and let me know!

Hi,
I've tried it on RNE-L21 since it is a hi6250 device.
Most of the things are working fine, but device cannot connect to any WIFI hotspot,
It finds it but cant connect to it as the password would be incorrect. Device runs AltairFR crDroid rom.
Thanks,
P.

Try to install an older EMUI build.

Hmm, You mean the router?, One is on stock rom and second runs openwrt 21.20.
Phone could connect to those routers just fine on huawei stock kernel.
When I've installed Syberia kernel, phone cannot conect to any of them(routers), it behave like the password would be wrong, phone is trying to autenthicate but fails.
On stock rom and stock kernel WIFI hotspot on the phone was working fine, but I havent check it on crDrom, there was no need to use it.
Here is the logcat log taken during connection procedure.
Thanks,
P.

Mine, which failed to connect, was 8.0.0.400. Have no idea why and what were the changes between 336 and 400, and the most important thing, if it is worth to ceck which one is the latest that I can use with this kernel.
Now my phone uses yours crDroid and TureX 200 kernel on emui 336.
Thank you all.
P.

Thank you for the information. I didn't know this bug was on EMUI 8 too.
Added to requirements.

Thanks a lot! Runs all well and smooth as expected. Only just one question: what is it about this "vendor security patch level" still stuck on "May, 1st" this year? Should we have any worries about that?

No not really because its the same as you can find in offical one.
If there was anything to worry about, then you haven't this update but so far its good to go.
As soon as i will find some more free time will update it to an newer one, but as always this needs its time because of the known reasons.

That's fine. Only feature I need from official LOS is OTA updates but I can live without it. Btw, I want to migrate from official build, do I need to wipe vendor partition too?
Its recommended but normaly not needed.
Try it without it should work, since vendor is untouched by me.

How to enable face unlock on this rom ? I already install face unlock module on magisk but it still not show on smart lock. Thanks
Read you need also gravity box (lockscreen tweaks > smart unlock).
But can't say if its true or not, dont using magisk or any other modifications like that.

if it's not to much trouble for you, please consider adding the circle battery, like it was in LOS 14
IMHO it's the best battery level presentation
there is a RR (based on LOS) with this option - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pgNyvPDUb2HjoOEFELO1-BTVBr49h9p4/view
may be it will help you to transfer this feature

The latest 10.0.1 OOS build I saw in Erfans GSI group, although had no WiFi on first boot was fixed by changing the the extension of a couple of vendor blobs to .bak and reboot and WiFi was good to go.

Don't rollback. You need to replace the ramdisk in the kernel with yours and it should work.
Send me your current boot image if you don't know how to do it. PM
Can you also give me the device name that's present in your build.prop?
getprop ro.product.name
Hi, I'm on stock pie rom with magisk, firmware version is V20c, buildprop name is "judyln_lao_com". Is it safe to flash? Anything you are aware of that is not working properly?

Feature requests:
0% auto brightness
Option (terminal is fine) to lower overall auto screen brightness by X percent (feels like it's unnecessarily bright under normal light)
Force QuadDac high impedance
(No idea how it works and if possible from your side, but it's LG G7 kernel specific, or so I have heard ->) Somehow make JamesDSP magisk add-on work
Make it so that CPU/GPU/IO settings sticks (in kernel auditor for example) (maybe implemented ?, fells like it's resetting)
CPU governors: Alucard, OnDemandPlus
GPU governors: Adreno Idler
I/O scheduler: Zen
does it work with lineage os? Edit: i tested and it bootloops, can you make a compatible version non-twrp the image

[KERNEL][NETHUNTER] Coconut-Kernel (Lineage 18.1 - Nethunter Support)(Oneplus 3/3T)

Coconut Kernel for LineageOS 18.1 - With Nethunter Support
Code:
***I wont be responsible for any problems that might occur flashing this kernel or what you do with the kernel support***

Just flash the kernel from recovery for supported ROMs.
You can use this kernel for Nethunter functions and other chroot applications like Linux Deploy.
HID and DriveDroid patches are also included.
Note:- The USB Wifi adapter firmware collection is also included with the zip and will be automatically installed. No need to use additional magisk module for installing firmwares.

This is compiled from los 18.1 kernel source with modifications for nethunter. I don't use custom rom much, so i don't know about specific features that a custom rom like pe have. If the android version is same, it should work, but if the rom has any special feature that's dependent on the kernel it may or may not work. You can try flashing and see. If it doesn't work, just go back to the old kernel.
Hi!
So i have some problems with getting my wifi-adapter working, can u help me?
So i have Lineageos 18.1 installed om my op3t, latest nt from kali website and your kernel. Using a RTL8811AU, i can see it with lsusb and i cant find any errors in dmesg. I have tried to change otg adapter and i have tried with y-cable. But still no luck... Is there anything else i can try?

Whats the issue you're facing?
@fredrickz
Thank you for this kernel
Just a question:
which nethunter version do I have to install?
On the kali.org page are nethunter releases for pie and ten. But not for eleven - this kernel is for eleven.
Do I install a eleven Custom ROM and then the nethunter PIE version and then this nethunter kernel?

I have the same problem with TP-LINK TL-WN722N (RTL8188EUS) - it looks nice in lsusb, no problems are reported in dmesg, but no wlan1 device ... Do i miss something?

Official nethunter requires android 10, last official oxygenOs is android 9 but the only available lineageOs for op3t is 18.1 on android 11. Probably Im doing something wrong but I still couldn't make wifi adapter work

Seems missing build-in driver is a culprit of non working adapter. Is there an actual guide how to compile kernel from source? I could try to add driver to kernel and recompile it.

KernelSu is a new root solution for android kernel, there shows some docs about kernel source compilation and module integration. I've tried several times, not so hard but so messy, lots of trivial details(such as adding lost source, changing argvs for compiler.....) you should search for solutions and solve.

Here's my guide.
Since this kernel is already a NetHunter patched, I recommend clone this post's source, so you don't need to start from scratch. If it's kernel 3.x, I usually have to nuke the rtl8xxxu folder and apply this: https://gitlab.com/kalilinux/nethun...d-rtl8xxxu-with-rtl8188eus-drivers-3.18.patch, because the patch from 4.x (adds only rtl8188eus) is for a newer base driver.
You can also add rtl88xxau if you're there, and if you want: https://gitlab.com/kalilinux/nethun...add-rtl88xxau-5.6.4.2-drivers-3.18-h990.patch or https://gitlab.com/kalilinux/nethun...3.10/add-rtl88xxau-5.6.4.2-drivers-3.10.patch

Followed you guide:
1. Downloaded kernel source
2. Patched it with https://gitlab.com/kalilinux/nethun...d-rtl8xxxu-with-rtl8188eus-drivers-3.18.patch
3. Getting Error on compile
I also tried to add this drivers manualy to kernel https://github.com/aircrack-ng/rtl8188eus and run compile. Seems it compiled OK but on TWRP I get Unsupported Device Error

Awesome! I mean if you want to use the same kernel, and just adding some patches, clone the already existing NH kernel source. Nice
