Do i need to do certain steps to install Indonesien ROM ?
My plan was to download package then go to miui update , choose package then install or do i have to do extra steps to make it compatible with my phone cuz it's global and i live in Egypt
And i wanted to ask u from ur experience
What was best rom u tried without root or anything ?
I mean global kinda suck with certain points to me and the google dialer is just too annoying for me

I recomand you to try Xiaomi.eu custom rom its based on global and have Mi dialer, messages, calendar etc.. Go download xiaomi.eu rom , unlock bootloader ,install TWRP/Ofx recovery and flash xiaomi.eu.
The best rom that i tried was Pixel Experience Plus great battery life, performance and is really stable, you can also try one plus 8T port if you want .
sorry for the bad english

Hi guys,
Been searching the forums and located some nice information but i would like a full guide step by step tutorial which can help me and others who are in a similar situation.
I dont want to brick my phone as i only got it yesterday but unfortunately has the china ROM. I managed to get google stuff installed but the assistant aint working so best to install the global ROM that has all this stuff already pre-loaded.
Could someone be so kind to provide me with a step to step tutorial on how to fully flash the global rom which i found here: https://www.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-mi-mix-3-miui-10-global-stable-android-pie-download/
I would really appreciate it Help a fellow noob out!
Thanks!
P.s, usually i just go and wing it but i dont want to brick / break the phone. I live in ireland so hopefully this global one works out. I enabled the dev option and already have the unlocker app from xiaomi, i have my mi account hooked to the mi unlock status so im just waiting on myself to unlock via the app on my PC from xiaomi. So thats where i am right now.
Pps, i see theres an EU ROM as well as global? Which one is better? Is there much difference?

EU rom is based on chinese rom, other than that there isn't much difference.

If you wanna stay on stock ROM, just use MiFlash (check the "clean all" option on the bottom) and fastboot ROM for Global version you wanna use. You don't need custom recovery.

Please note MIUI.EU and EU region firmware is difference. MIUI.EU based in global firmware code MI. EU region is EEA with EU firmware code. don't get it wrong.
1. Miui.eu is better for me with less bloatware and still keep miui feature. Use since mi 6x and old poco f1.
2. Indonesian language include in miui.eu
If you want try it UBL and flash global first with MI code firmware last version. Step in Miui.eu rom thread.

sure :good:
You can but it's not recommended. Different rom regions use different persist.img (use a hex editor to read it). A different persist.img has different data offsets and it can mess with things like Mi account, compass and different sensors, activation data etc.
Le:fastboot won't flash persist.img even if it's present in the ROM folder. You can flash persist.img from twrp but again, not recommended to flash another version of it.

So, you will try to flash global ROM after getting bootloader unlocked?
My main issue now in 12.0.1 is the dynamic refresh rate or something like that makes gaming experience like a crap as hell even if i stay in fixed 60Hz refresh rate

Yes, I understand that Google dialer is present on the device but anyone tried or able to get the miui dialer by installing rom like miui EU version or any other way on poco x3 indian version?

Searching exactly for this (Mi dialer because I want Call Recording too) I think that just stock Indonesian rom or custom rom xiaomi.eu are the ones that uses Mi dialer. I'll pretend to test Indonesian fisrt. Currently I'm in Turkish stock version and it has Google dialer too.
I think you can flash eu rom. It has mi dialer. I will be able to unlock my device tomorrow. Than i can test. Mine is also poco x3 (Indian variant)

Hi. I am currently using elite rom. It's based on eu rom. This & eu both has mi dialer with call recording option.
Yes I did flashed the Indonesia rom and locked it. Name only changed to poco x3 NFC but codename is exactly same name as karna after flashing. Miui dialer and messaging works perfectly . Native call recording works also. No problem. You can buy it ,unlock the bootloader and flash this rom
Hey there, I had the same problem until now.
My device is poco X3 indian , its codename is karna
I have successfully flashed Indonesia rom on my device and locked bootloader
I have got the mi dialler and mi messaging working perfectly fine now
If u are going to flash the fastboot rom make sure to choose the 12.0.7 version and make the flash file folder name simple like " poco " to avoid any issues while flashing .... U can try it out too and share your experiences....
Here are the pictures attached
Thank you

Actually I too flashed Indo and locked bootloder, andn when I checked it made play store uncertified with locked bootlodder , I cant do anything to solve this , so I unlocked the bootloader and flashed back the indian rom to my device, I think the problem is only there for our device ( poco x3 ) , other device doen't seem to have this issue .
I have read that the indonesia version of the ROM for Poco F2 Pro is more stable than the EEA one.
I also read that the indonesia version has the call recorder.
Are there any other differences? Network management type?
Thanks.

Will I lose anything by going from EEA to Indonesian ROM? Like bands or languages or anything?
I'm in a process of unlocking the bootloader and downgrading from Android 11 to android 10 and I'm wondering which ROM is the best. I think a call recorder is a nice feature to have. I had it in my Zenfone 6.

I'm using a very strict banking app and I'm afraid they wouldn't like each other. Many users of my bank's app complained about that, but their developers always know better. Sometimes it doesn't even work with stock ROMs on some devices stating that they are rooted.

The main reasons why I'm going back to Android Q are:
the full screen not working in A11 (status bar always visible),
phone not streaming audio to the car head (stopped working after upgrade to A11)
and annoying animation when minimizing an app and going to the home screen (can't be switched off)
Are these bugs fixed in the eu ROM?

Hi!
I bought a Poco but the vendor sold me one with Europe ROM. I want to know if I can install a Global Stable ROM via MI Flash.
P.d. Can anyone give a official telegram Poco Groups? Tnx
I had the same -- easier path (after unlocking bootloader!) is to use MiFlash to setup the desired stock ROM.
Yeee i think so, cause I feel limited by Miui software.
I gonna try some ROMs. Any recommendations to start?
