How to change settings menu icons in A11 (root) - General Questions and Answers

Hi guys.
I need some help. I want to change the default oxygenos 11 settings menu icons to some of the icons I created . I have root and have basic knowledge about these. But I cannot seem to find any apps or module which can replace the settings menu icon. I have heard exposed can work but last time I installed it, some of my bank apps didn't work. Please note that, I want to use the icons I created, not 3rd party ones. I have them in illustrator but not sure how to use them.
Hope you guys can help and thanks in advance.

[HOW-TO] Theme icons in the Google Experience Launcher/Google Now Launcher!

I love the GEL/GNL, and my only complaint has been that it doesn't support theming from icon packs. Well, I found a way and I wanted to share!
1) Download and install the Xposed framework.
2) Download and install Unicon from the Play Store. ($2.00 USD)
3) Reboot after selecting the Xposed module and enabling it.
4) Open Unicon from the app drawer, select an icon pack, and enjoy!
The way this works is that Xposed allows Unicon to change the application icons across the entire system, so it'll even show up in the small app icons in places (such as the settings cog inside of the Settings app, at the top). The only con to this method is that it isn't possible to enable ART along with this tweak, since it relies on Xposed. If anyone knows of a way to do this without Xposed, please let me know! I hoped this helped!
(Attached is a screenshot for proof that it does indeed work on the GEL/GNW, icon pack used is Click UI, $2.00 USD)

I use Unicon with the stock GNL and love it as well. However, there's one more con you didn't mention that people not familiar with the module should know. It is that you can't change individual icons. So if an icon pack has multiple versions/colors of the same icon, you can't choose which one gets applied like you can with a 3rd party launcher. It's only a small drawback in my opinion.

How to edit icon packs?

Hi
I wanted to ask of something, i couldn't find it proper category here in XDA. I apologize for putting it under "general" category.
I use Dodol launcher and have installed some icon packs. The problem is that these icon packs contains 1000+ icons of those apps which i don't use and will never install. I know they are made for everyone so that it fits to everyone. I wanted to ask of some way that i be able to edit these icon packs and delete the unnecessary icons from these packs (icon packs are in .apk format) and keep those only which i need. This will reduce the load and also one major problem. When i am finding some icon for an app, i have to scroll so much and it takes time, and also icon loads with some few seconds gap. This becomes a painful process.
In Short, i am asking for helping me to edit these icon packs so that i can reduce them to those icons only which i need and delete the others which i don't need. Is there any way to do it in Android or even in PC.
I will be very thankful to you for helping me.
Awais.

Hidden settings found in Moto G4 plus!! [System UI Tuner]

Hi guys,
I want to share a new hidden settings menu which I accidently found though some users might already know this.
You can customize quick settings as per your need. You can disable/ rearrange icons in quick settings and also put battery percentage in top bar (no root required)
Just follow the attached screenshots.

Change golor of quick tiles in quick settings menu

I find the new quick tiles (light blue on white background) to be difficult to see. Is there a way to be able to change the color and/or contrast of these icons. I do not want to root the phone. Have looked at xposed, at a few apps from the store. Also a number of different launchers such as Nova, Apex, etc but could not find this functionality in them.
Thx

This is not a launcher feature. There are two ways I know of. The simplest is to get a theme in the Samsung Theme Store (found under system settings) with the colours you want, then just overwrite the background wallpaper and icon pack in your launcher if you don't like them.
I believe you can also use Substratum without root on samsung phones, at least for theming the user interface. Substratum Themes will give you more colour options and won't change your icon pack and background unlike Samung Themes.
Ideally find a Substratum theme labelled Samsung so you know it works, then only tick the android system parts. I have to appologise in advance because I can't post links yet. You'll have to find them in the Play Store yourself.
First, install "Substratum".
Then, you'll have to buy the "Substratum Integration for Samsung (Addon Key)" (if you find it doesn't work, you always have 2 hours to refund it from the play store page)
Lastly, find a compatible theme like "[Substratum] StatusBar Icons (+extras) for Samsung" and activate it in the Substratum app.
