If you have problem with loading Widgets find build.prop file in mobile or download from Playstore BuildProp Editor
This problem is solved very easily with root access. You just need to fix one line in the build.prop file:
ro.freeme_freemanager=1
ro.hct_autostart_manager=1
In these lines you need to change 1 to 0
Magisk manager works without TWRP great
In TWRP recovery dos not work mtp
And big problem with TWRP is if you formating data then mobile can not recognize sim card (IMEI null, baseband unkown)
If anybody have solution thanks.

Finally? Dude the phone has been out like 3 days in the US and less than 2 weeks I believe anywhere else.
Get some patience maybe.
Is this still a temporary recovery or does this method make TWRP your permanent recovery?

There is really a lot of files in there. Which img should I boot into for the twrp?
There is a textfile in chinese (i assume) which I let go through google translate:
textfile
Maybe this will give some new information:
Code:
One plus six use ab partition, bring a lot of inconvenience to the brush, temporarily suggest less toss
One, unlock BootLoader (pay attention to backup data)
1. Developer Options Open OEM Unlock
2. Enter the fastboot mode: adb reboot bootloader
3. Unlock: fastboot oem unlock
The mobile phone prompts whether to unlock, the volume key selects Yes, the power button confirms
4 wait to boot
Second, brush into the specific boot
1. The disk boot folder has many types of boot
Introduction:
Official boot: the official original boot, recovery mode for the official recovery
Twrp boot: After brushing into recovery mode becomes twrp
Boot-with-magisk: automatically install migisk after brushing, recovery mode is official recovery, need to install magisk apk
Twrp boot-with-magisk: automatically install migisk after brushing, recovery mode is twrp, need to install magisk apk
name:
For example, boot-180513-h2os.img is based on the hydrogen OS 180513 version, be sure to match the use
Other files are similarly named
2. Brushing method
Enter the fastboot mode: adb reboot bootloader
Brush into the boot partition (boot.img is the path to the file being flushed into)
Fastboot flash boot boot.img
or
Fastboot flash boot_a boot.img
Fastboot flash boot_b boot.img
3. Restart
Fastboot reboot
Third, fastboot brush
Network disk fastboot flashable folder stored fastboot mode can be brushed into the img file
For example, you want to brush the system.img to the system partition (system.img is the path to the file you are working on)
Fastboot flash system system.img
or
Fastboot flash system_a system.img
Fastboot flash system_b system.img
For example, you want to brush the vendor.img to the vendor partition (vendor.img is the path to the file to be scanned)
Fastboot flash vendor vendor.img
or
Fastboot flash vendor_a vendor.img
Fastboot flash vendor_b vendor.img
Fourth, twrp card brush official ROM reserved twrp method
Twrp card brush official ROM brush common patch /twrp folder under the patch package
Note, twrp card brush official ROM, in fact, brush into the current partition does not start, after brushing is complete, activate the partition, restart after running this partition, but at this time twrp run in the current boot partition, need to restart the system into twrp Or restart the recovery mode into twrp, restart the boot partition and the partition started at this time is consistent, brush into the patch for the current boot partition has a role, otherwise the patch package is likely to be brushed into the next boot does not start Partition
Fifth, install magisk
If it is fastboot brush boot, directly brush into the boot with magisk
If it is twrp card brush official ROM, card brush twrp patch, restart twrp or restart boot into twrp, and then brush the patch under the commonly used patch / magisk folder
Six, install the supersu
Twrp card brush official ROM, card brush twrp patch, restart twrp or restart boot into twrp, and then brush the patch / supersu folder patch, even the computer input adb disable-verify, prompt Successfully disabled verity, restart
Seven, install xposed
If you have installed magisk, install xposed directly in magisk
If you have already brushed supersu according to the above method, add the official xposed patch and restart it.
Eight, third-party ROM
Temporarily unknown
Nine, expand the extension
Interested friends are expected to notice that you can choose to brush img into the _a or _b partition in the tutorial of brushing the img into the corresponding partition.
So how do we know if our phone is currently using a partition or b partition?
1.twrp mode, restart, there will be shown below
2. System mode, adb shell getprop ro.boot.slot_suffix
If _a is a partition, _b is partition b
AB Division, except for Google’s mobile phone, it is rare to see other mobile phones use,,,
So there are few methods related to playing online games,,,

You can't flash the recovery image... It boots up slowly into the OS, and that's it. Guess we will have to wait a little longer
The TWRP of OP6 looks like Google Pixel this time
Thanks!!!
But which version (file) do I need for Oxygen OS 5.1.5?
In each filename is someting with h2o-rom?

[Solved] Elephone P8 Max Root

Hello, this is my first post
Don't let me waste time...
Requirements
1.Stock boot.img for your phone model (its best its for your Build Number / Variant ) . You can extract from the stock rom / firmware of your device OR backup from your device using a box e.g Miracle box, CM2, etc
2.Download Latest Magisk Manager
Steps on how to root an Elephone P8 Max using Magisk Manager and patched boot.img
Step 1: Patching the stock boot.img
1.Install MagiskManager apk on your android device
2.Copy the stock boot.img of your device to your phone's internal storage or SD card
3.Launch Magisk Manager app
4.If prompted to install Magisk, select NO THANKS
5.If you are using a samsung device and wish to flash using Odin, then select Options > Settings > Update Settings > Patched Boot Output Format > img.tar )
6.Select Install > Install > Patch Boot Image File >
7.Navigate to the location of the stock boot.img you copied earlier on, then Select it
8.Magisk Manager should begin downloading the magisk zip file used for patching
9.Once download is complete, MagiskManager will automatically patch the boot file and store it under SDcard/MagiskManager/patched_boot.img[.tar]
Step 2: Flashing the patched boot.img
You have a variety of options to flash the patched boot.img depending on you
1.Sp Flashtool
2.Fastboot
3.Miracle Box
1. For Sp Flashtool copy the patched boot.img with mt6755 scatter file and make sure to rename patched boot.img to boot.img before flashing
2.For fastboot copy the patched boot.img to your fastboot folder and press shift right click on a free space in the fastboot folder, you would see open command here. Click on it and boot your Elephone P8 Max to fastboot with power+volume up and use volume down to select fastboot and connect your Elephone P8 Max. Your PC type fastboot devices to check if the system as seen it. Now type fastboot flash boot patched_boot.img
You are done.
3.For miracle box rename the file from .img to .bin before flash.
In case you lazy..
I have the patched_boot.img here
https://drive.google.com/file/d/17jjlC_znGMEA6HY0H0l4XP6LaBIv7n_t/view?usp=drivesdk
Enjoy..use root checker to confirm
Anyone who can support for custom recovery
TWRP for Elephone p8 Max
I need the newest TWRP for Elephone p8 Max. Can anybody help?
Thanks

Because you flash boot.img as recovery
That why your phone is getting that fault
You are suppose to flash boot
Fastboot flash boot patched_boot.img OK
Or use sp flashtool or miracle box
I included the scatter file
I have the twrp but it doesn't touch only if you use otg with Mouse
Alternative scatter file for MT6750
Hi lmkratos,
thank you very much!
This worked like a charm but I had to use a different scatter file (attached here) as the P8 Max has a MT6750 (not MT6755) and the PMT didn't match so spflash refused to flash boot ("PMT changed for the ROM").
If you happen to be on Linux: spflash works perfectly but take care to stop ModemManager (WAN modems) before flashing as it interferes, so
"service ModemManager stop".
rec Please send it, thank you

Thanks alecks!!!!:highfive:

Youtube Video Assistance:
Video Name: How to root Android using Magisk Manager & stock boot.img
Channel : Hovatek
------------------------------------------------------------
REQUIREMENTS :
(0) Unlocked Bootloader
To unlock bootloader in Lava X81 by Fastboot mode use the command
fastboot oem unlock #unlock bootloader via fastboot mode
{{{{{ NOTE: Unlocking bootloader in Lava X81 will erase all the user data. So please take a backup before unlocking bootloader. }}}}}
(1) Stock boot.img for your phone model (its best its for your Build Number / Variant ) . You can extract from the stock rom / firmware of your device (you may check our collection at https://forum.hovatek.com/forum-89.html ) OR backup from your device using a hardware box e.g Miracle Box, CM2, Nck Box Pro etc
(2) Download Latest Magisk Manager {Currently 7.3.0 (220)}
(3) Active internet connection on your Android device
(4) A windows 10 Laptop
---------------------------------------------------------
INSTRUCTIONS :
Step 1: Patching the stock boot.img
1. Install Magisk Manager 7.3.0 (220) APK on your android device.
2. Copy the stock boot.img of Lava X81 to your phone's internal storage or SD card whereever you want (Internal Storege\Dowloads is the better option)
3. Launch Magisk Manager app and check for latest updates. After the updates you will see that Magisk Manager is up to date.
4. Then, Select (Magisk is not installed. Latest 19.3 (19300)) Install > (Install Magisk) Install > Select and Patch a File >
5. Navigate to the location of the stock boot.img you copied earlier on (select Dowloads option or in my case, I used ES File Explorer File Manager), then Select it
6. Magisk Manager should begin downloading the magisk zip file for our arm64-v8a Device platform.
7. Once download is complete, MagiskManager will automatically patch the boot file and store it under
/storage/emulated/0/Download/magisk_patched.img
(Then I renamed it as "patched_boot.img" for our convenience)
Step 2: Flashing the patched boot.img
Among a variety of options to flash, I preferred Fastboot method
(0) Connect your Lava X81 one or two times to the PC (for preinstalling drivers)
(1) Boot your Lava X81 into fastboot mode.
(2) Open platform-tools_r28.0.1-windows.zip file
(3) Simultaneously press Keyboard's Shift key and Right click on the mouse, to open PowerShell window
(4) On the PowerShell use the following codes to flash:
Starting from phone's normal usb debugging mode,
adb devices #Ensures your phone connectivity in ADB (Android Debug Interface) mode via USB Debugging
adb reboot-bootloader #Reboot your phone to Fastboot Mode from ADB
fastboot devices #Ensures your phone connectivity in Fastboot mode
fastboot getvar unlocked #To check whether the bootloader is unlocked or not. It should be unlocked to proceed further steps
fastboot flash boot patched_boot.img #Flash the Magisk Patched Boot image file in Fastboot Mode
fastboot reboot #Reboot to the system from exiting Fastboot Mode
(5) Congrats and check with a Root checker app for root status. While checking for root status itself pop out for root permission.

Root Lava X81 using Magisk Manager by patching stock boot image (No TWRP)
http://www.mediafire.com/file/zjb78878i52865c/Root_Lava_X81_using_Magisk_Manager_by_patching_stock_boot_image_%2528No_TWRP%2529.zip/file
It is worked successfully guys!
Try it.
Two Bugs:
1. Cannot try reboot to the stock recovery. It strucks. You have to switch off and switch on the phone. During this your phone will make fear "Performing factory reset". Don't worry! blah blah blah...
SO YOU MUST DEVELOP TWRP RECOVERY FOR LAVA X81
2. Cannot flash .zip files using Magisk only. It every time asks TWRP or any other recovery to flash the zip file.
So you must develop TWRP recovery for Lava X81
3. While installing SuperSU it says "binary occupied" by MagiskSU. So apps like FlashFire won't flash zip file.
4. Don't try to uninstall stock YouTube app & and replace it with YouTube vanced app. Use YouTube Vanced the app for no root along with MicroG. But YouTube vanced 14.21.54 seems to be exceptional.

Disable forced encryption Umidigi S3 Pro

I tried a bunch of times and this is what worked.(for me anyway...lol)
Go to twrp
make sure to have a backup of nvcfg, nvram and nvdata
Format Data
reboot recovery
Flash the universal dm verity force encryption disabler(https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77091359&postcount=1)
Restore nvcfg,nvram and nvdata
Flash magisk
Reboot
On the newest android software for the S3 pro, it will not accept any of the "universal encryption disablers". When I use them I am unable to use the touch screen SO... Using TWRP and ADB I was able to remedy this.
BL Unlocked: Latest Stock rom with magisk_patched and TWRP flashed.
boot to twrp - up+power btn
TWRP: wipe > format data
TWRP: reboot recovery
TWRP: wipe > advanced > data
TWRP: reboot recovery
TWRP: flash orange state disabler for MTK (optional)
TWRP: mount System and vendor partition
Bash: adb pull /system/vendor/etc/fstab.mt6771
Bash: nano fstab.mt6771
in line 15 = change "forcefdeorfbe" to "encryptable" then save
Bash: adb push fstab.mt6771 /system/vendor/etc/
reboot to system
Verify encryption is disabled... PROFIT
I did this on Linux but the commands should be similar in the windows command line. substitute nano for your favorite text editor.
