VPN client (standard IPSEC)???

Hi!
Is there any working VPN-client that supports standard IPSEC?? We don't control out external access in our network and the company that runs our firewalls they have set up a watchguard soho 6, which is a standard IPSEC solution. We use the MUVPN (mobile user vpn) client where we have gotten IPSEC policy files (something.spd) which we can't change/look at.
So my question is, is there a VPN client that supports standard IPSEC with IPSEC policy Import??? (for the Windows Mobile 2005 platform.)
I have tried as many vpn-clients that I have been able to find. And the one I assume would work is SafeNets SoftRemotePDA (for Pocket PC) but it is no longer maintained and nowhere to be fiound (tried e-mailing the company as well)
any suggestion would be Great!

[IDEA]Use ProxyDroid as an Software Firewall.

Hello everybody.
I am a newbie here. Since I am from China, as everybody know, the Chinese Markets for Android is really a chaos. There is a lot advertisement injected in softwares and games. These malwares takes a lot data traffic money. So we used softwares such as Wali to monitor and limit the usage of the mobile network. These softwares usually use iptables to make the limitation.
In my network condition, I need to use a proxy server to go to the Internet when I am in my wifi lan. So I used ProxyDroid.
Now the problem has came. Some of the softwares I banned/blacklisted in the firewall softwere leaked out when I use the proxy. Then I realized that the ProxyDroid also uses the iptables. It could release the banned softwere after I turned ProxyDroid on.
After a bounch of brain strom. I found the way to use the ProxyDroid as the firewall. And the firewall software could be removed.
Method:
1.To use localhost as the firewall when you are in a open network. Just make the ProxyDroid proxify the software you want to ban to the localhost.
2.To use the proxy as the tunnel when you are in a closed network such as a LAN. Just make the ProxyDroid proxify the software you want to let go to the proxy.

FTP(S) clients for Android

Does anyone know of a good FTP(S) client for Android, preferably a free
one that does not infect ones phone with malware/adware?
I run a home FTPS server using a CA issued cert/TLS 1.2
Most so called Android "FTP" clients actually only support insecure FTP
(suicide in this day and age) and SFTP which is file transfer over SSH
and not actually FTPS which is true FTP just over SSL/TLS.
I have tried looking for a good FTPS client and so far have come short.
I am all about free/open source software and usually there's something
on F-DROID but for FTPS it doesn't seem so. One app (Send With FTP) does
seem to support it but it hasn't been updated since 2016 and is listed
on F-DROID as having an un-patched security vulnerability.
The rest of the FTP clients on Google Play seem to be adware apps,
there's no way I would trust an app that has external servers connecting
to it with my FTP server credentials.
I would be open to paying for an app if no other option exists but it
should be noted that I run a completely de-Google'ed phone without any
Google services/framework/Play Store. My concern is that the DRM or
whatever they use to check if you paid for the app or not might rely on
the Google spyware services which I don't have. I have micro-G to spoof
the Google services should I really need it but I'm not sure if that
would even work in this case.

VPN Client Apps

I need a VPN client app that supports connecting to a L2TP/IPsec VPN using a Pre-shared key. I have tried many VPN client apps and have been unable to get a successful connection. I have been able to successfully connect using Win7, Win10 as well as iOS and one android LG V40 ThinQ on Verizon using LG’s built-in advanced VPN client. The basic android clients as well as many 3rd party VPN client apps don’t seem to work for this VPN. Unfortunately I do not have access to the server to make changes to the VPN’s configuration.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
Any ideas why it would work on iOS and Windows devices but not Android?
First of all you should clarify - are you looking a free or paid VPN services?
As for paid: I would advise to try surfshark, cyberghost
As for free: vpngate.net, tunnel bear
But be warned that free services are always prone to be laggy and usually not so secure and have vulnerabilities which newbies users couldn't know!
I hope this helps!

Oneplus 6 has google dns 8.8.8.8 hardcoded into the system?

I recently started using a Pi hole to block ads on my home network. It worked fine for all my devices except Oneplus 6 which seems to have 8.8.8.8 hardcoded into the system:
OnePlus Community
Introducing our new OnePlus Community experience, with a completely revamped structure, built from the ground-up.
forums.oneplus.com
This is a huge violation of privacy. It cannot be modified to my knowledge. I now block 8.8.8.8 on my router but of course, this only works when I am at home.
I am rooted so I was wondering if someone knows a way to block 8.8.8.8 on the phone? Firewall apps or similar?
Well I've been living under a rock.
Why there's nobody talked about this on XDA?
Edit :
AFWall+ (Android Firewall +) - Apps on Google Play
[ROOT] AFWall+ is a front-end application for the powerful iptables firewall.

I found this app, didn't tried it yet. It requires Root, probably it's powerful enough.
